Once under the old owner Sam Larry and this time under the new management of the Plyler Brothers. Both times have been exceptional!!! The house was perfect for our group! Mark couldn't have been more accommodating and the house was clean!!! Planning another trip next year and hope to stay here again!!! The house was clean with plenty of room for everyone, kingsize bed, bunk beds, a futon and a couch that Wes did not want to get up from. The kitchen was fully furnished with everything needed to cook and eat, even two grills, gas and charcoal. A huge lot with plenty of parking for trucks and trailers, there are two fire pits, one in the front and one in the back. They even supply firewood. This place is the essence of West Virginia hospitality. Make sure you book a guided trip with Barry, he's the guy five minutes after you meet him you feel like you've known him for years. Barry knows the Outlaw trails like the back of his hand, He can take you from easy to hold my beer. We will be staying here again and definitely booking another trip with Barry. Out of all my trips to West by God Virginia to ride, this was the best.

We had a group of 16 stay in July 2017 and couldn't have been happier. We rented both houses and had plenty of room. The kitchen is fully equipped for meal prep if you choose to cook your own meals. They have a coffee maker, microwave, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, cookware, dishes, & silverware. The laundry room is fully equipped with washer, dryer, iron, & ironing board. Both houses include free wifi. Linens and towels are provided. There is an outside fire pit, chairs, & gas grill. Plenty of parking for vehicles and ATV trailers. The owners are amazing and provide a level of southern hospitality that is second to none! We hired a local guide and were able to ride outlaw trails for our entire trip. We decided to check out Paul's place because it was fairly close and he was so friendly on the phone when I called for more specific info. It's definitely a laid back and rustic environment but I was all in. Paul takes care of his customers and he was very adamant in teaching us the rules of the river before letting us launch. I had $60 in cash and he would only take $40 even thought the price was listed as $50. It's a great deal for you to kayak, paddle board and tube on the gorgeous river. We had it basically to ourselves that day and it was a revelation. The only thing I'd say is there needs to be upgrades to the life jackets. Most of them were child sized. However, all of the other equipment was well maintained. Please go and support this business!

There aren't too many places to stay near Hinton, WV. I stumbled upon this guest house 4 years…read moreago, and have been staying there once a year ever since. The house is just beautiful! The attention to detail throughout is impressive. Each guest room (I've stayed in all 4) is beautifully appointed with the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Little touches like a tray of muffins and orange juice greet you upon check-in. The house manager welcomes you, gives you a quick rundown on the features and security codes, and then leaves you to get settled in. Sometimes we're the only people staying in the whole house! When there is another guest (s), you rarely see them and never hear them. The house is set up to accommodate groups of family/friends with a great back patio area and an amazing kitchen set up- all to be used by any guests staying at the house. It's the only place I'll stay when visiting the Hinton area.

We stayed the the FOB Dillon (http://www.fobdillonlodging.com) and I can't say enough about it! We loved it. Veteran Family run and cared for... Andy was very accommodating and a great resource for us. This place is beautiful. All the comforts of home included... UTV wash station, fire pit with firewood, and even a boot dryer! Wifi and huge flat screen in the great room. Sleeps 14 in 3 separate bedrooms, .7 miles up the same drive for trail access to Rockhouse. Or, just drive down the road to Devils Anse access. I'm already planning my return trip.

The back ramp turns into a porch that looked out over a nice drop to a wide open view of the mountains with a crest of sunset. Having thier own gas station made easy go on the sxs. One day we did over 90 miles, of which 15 were on the road. Heard they now have a trail head that goes to Kentucky. If you like Windrock then it's worth looking here. We ride Florida, however it's great to enjoy all of America off road.
