The part cost $150.00 at the dealership not $257.66. 'Shop Rates' (labor) are $170.00 not $260.00. They charged me $15.00 for 'shop supplies. What shop supplies did they use ? They charged me $15.00 for 'EPA/waste removal.. I took the old part home with me ! Sub total was $647.66!! if i paid cash it would have been $659.17. $12.00 more if I paid cash ? if I paid with a CC it was $698.72. $51.00 more if i used a credit card?! That doesn't even make sense!! They never offered a senior discount when I was at the counter to pay. The never offered a Veterans discount when I was at the counter to pay. Good business practices say all the above was wrong.

The day I made the appointment I got switched over to the parts department and ordered the part. I confirmed with parts department that it would arrive intime for the install on the 4th. On the date of the appointment, which was confirmed by your text, i had to cancell due to my wife's illness. I call back to reschedule the appointment ASAP. Had to leave a request for call back. I received a voice msg later that day. I find part was never ordered due to me have to prove the Duramax is mine and the part was not and will not be ordered until I personally bring drivers license and proof of ownership of the vehicle. Really? Do you think it might me a good idea to let me know this from the very beginning. Like when the parts clerk talked to me. Or maybe when he found out that he couldn't order it with proper owner proof. It is a good thing that I didn't drive up 20 miles on the 4th just find out you never ordered the part. I believe the oil cap was left off, questionable whether oil was even done correctly. Manager indicates there have been lots of problems on multiple cars and the two techs on our car no longer there. Yet leaves me with nothing except thousands and thousands to fix my car. These kids there have no idea what they are doing.
