Our summer camping trip to Big Lake got off to a bad start when the radiator blew on the top of the rim. Thankfully, we had AAA and while we were trying to tell AAA where we were, Fraley's tow truck came up over the hill returning from a tow to Payson. The driver pulled over when he saw us stranded on the top of the hill, vehicle packed to the rim with two teenagers and a 90 lb dog. Dan had the tow truck loaded in no time and even went so far as to try to locate the radiator while we were en route to Show Low. Unfortunately, our vehicle had 3 possible radiators so they couldn't order the part until we got to Show Low. As soon as we arrived, they determined which radiator was needed before they even pulled the Tahoe off the tow truck. They got to work on it right away, pulling the radiator so that when the new one arrived all they had to do was install it. Jennifer in the office was great, making sure we all had water (including the dog) before we did anything else. Once the repair was done, Jennifer explained they are an authorized Napa parts repair shop, so if there were any issues with the new radiator the work is warranted at any Napa repair shop nationwide. Our trip was delayed, but they got us up and on the road again very quickly. We are very thankful for the way Fraley's took care of us in one day. We were on our way out of Show Low and even made it to get camp set up just before Sunset. read more

In my situation I was treated very well and my situation dealt with in a personal fashion. My tow truck driver (Rich) was super helpful and my mechanic (Dan) did a great job in helping do the right thing for my vehicle and taking my situation into consideration. The office (Jennifer) and even the owner (Dan F) all super helpful to me where I was basically stuck on that mountain until this vehicle got fixed. Good folks here. Means everything. read more

I wouldn't suggest this company to anyone, the lady in the office, cheryl is absolutely awful and downright rude. Its bad enough they charge people for a part that is not needed but then to have to deal with her is a dealbreaker. Plenty of other places to take your vehicle and be treated right. read more

We took our vehicle there a few times and thought it was awfully expensive but we were naive about it all until they told us we needed upper and lower ball joints and that it would cost $750. We took it to another place across town and they told us the ball joints were fine. It just needed a steering adjustment. We have an older vehicle and live from paycheck to paycheck and these kind of ripoff tactics can really set us back. read more

Had work done on my SUV awhile ago...they were nice enough. But I was charged 85$ just for them to replace my battery wires...which they claimed 'took an hour'. Not sure how true that is but I also used them for some other repairs. I haven't gone back because I found a cheaper place. read more

This place is a nightmare. The lady working the front desk is extremely rude! If they break your vehicle,"which they will" she will tell you to get another towing company and remove your vehicle from the premises. After offering charging you double for there services. please beware of these unfriendly unhelpful people. if you want good customer service and amazing work done on your vehicle. New to this area I first went to the dealership for my make of vehicle. After their diagnosis I told them to check a certain gasket and they came back with, "oh yeah, that's leaking TOO". Uh-uh,,,,no warm and fuzzy feelings there. Went to Fraley's and got immediate attention and was told they would put my car up overnight to see if the water pump was going bad at NO COST to me. I found the staff, owner Dan and his daughter Jennifer, to be exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable and they went out of their way to explain to things to me as I know very little about cars and their motors. I paid over $300 LESS than the dealership wanted for the SAME job. When we return to this area next season I will have to find a doctor and dentist but my search for an auto mechanic is over! We've been in Show Low two years and we've been so pleased with Fraley's service that we wouldn't consider taking our cars anywhere else. Always easy to make an appointment quickly for what we need. Front office service is competent, friendly yet professional. I appreciate they send post card reminders of when the next oil change or other service is due, since I wouldn't remember otherwise. Long story short, I was on a cross country road trip last week and started having car troubles. Stopped by here just because it was the closest place I could find and they spent SEVERAL hours with me doing absolutely everything they could to help me out, while charging me about 1/4 of what they actually could have. I would recommend this place to anyone! It's hard enough to find a trustworthy mechanic as it is but especially while driving across country, but the guys at the shop were some of the most upstanding guys I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with.
