The Good 1. 3 powerlifting platforms, a ton of soft weights, and 2 deadlift jacks. 2. 3 squat racks, a Smith machine, and 2 legit angle leg presses. 3. 150lbs dumbbells down by 10 until 80, and then double 75lbs to 5lbs. 4. 25+ variable cardio machines and a "cross-fit" style dedicated room with associated bands, steps, and weights 5. 24hr magnetic lock access. The Bad 1. Gym rules not enforced. 2. Tourists in the gym. No bearing. No idea how to work out. Just a membership. 3. Plates left on equipment. Plates dumped on the floor. This Gym is tied up with ABC Financial which seems to practice some underhanded and shady cancellation practices that make simple request cancellation a fight to the death. I asked to perform the buyout option to cancel my membership and I was fine with paying the remaining balance, but I still was forced and required to go back and forth through various emails and calls that stated that I needed to provide actions that I already provided, to initiate the cancellation. I was told to send an email with my name, account number, and stating I was canceling via buyout option yet received 3 emails stating that they were sorry but I was only eligible to cancel via the buyout option!?!??!?! They are stuck in a loop which seems 100% intent on forcing the consumer to experience the most frustration and agony imaginable to hopefully give up on pursuing the cancelation request. I've dealt with many service provider before that perform these shady tactics and ABC Financial is atrocious at providing support and an intuitive experience for their customers as a part of the vendor of PowerHouse. I strongly recommend not getting tied up with a service provider that is leveraging ABC Financial as a vendor if you need to have a smooth, normal experience at managing your account and services. This is probably one of the best all around gyms I've ever been a member of. The facility is complete and diverse. Equipment is new and top of line unlike the refurbished, worn and recycled stuff I've found elsewhere. It's also kept clean and well organized. The owner of this fine establishment has a pride that carries over to the members. One of my favorite parts of working out here is I simply don't see the annoyances I've come across in many other facilities. The screamers, gawkers, and disrespectful thugs I've come across in my many years of fitness literally don't exist here. In fact, members demonstrate a contagious courtesy. They range from general fitness enthusiasts to competitive body builders, come to work out hard, but are collectively gracious. What not to love about a gym like this? If you're serious about fitness in an environment that's both inviting and motivational then this is the gym for you. read more

The owner of this gym is incredibly rude and insensitive. When approached about a scenario involving sexual assault/harassment involving an employee, he coldly replied "I'll think about it". I demanded he shred my contract while I was still in the 72hr buyer's right to cancel period. I could never imagine being in that building after hours knowing that the owner cares only about the income, not the member's safety in his facility. read more

This gym collects payment through a company called ABC financial which makes it nearly impossible to cancel your membership. I explained my situation to the staff that I would only be in town for 3 months for work. After all is said and done, because of ABC financial, I will be paying for 5 months of membership plus the initial fee. The employees provide a business card with a phone number and email to call to cancel. I waited for 30 minutes to get in touch with someone over the phone, and they gave me an email different from the one provided by the gym that I had to submit a written request to cancel. Then, my cancellation was "pending" which results in my card being charged for another month before cancellation. I thought this was a cool gym, and I hate to see that they put their patrons through so much trouble to cancel memberships. read more

Upon time to cancel my membership, as other reviewers have mentioned, the process was made unnecessarily difficult. When I spoke to someone at the front desk, I was told I needed to print off and fill out a paper on their webpage in order to process my request. Can't print it at the store or receive the document in email form. Just an additional hoop that may allow them to squeeze some more money out of you before you leave. read more

Have been coming here since it's opening late February of 2018. Why have I stayed a loyal member? The staff cares, the owner is attentive, the facility is CLEAN, nothing is broken, EVERYTHING IS NEW! The owner prides himself in being honest and attentive and always supplies the gym with new equipment! We've gotten new toys twice since they've opened! The members are nice people and I've never felt out of place here. Don't be discouraged by the name, Powerhouse is a family friendly place and fits all exercise needs, bodybuilders included. The pictures are just a glimpse of what this place has to offer. This location has cardio machines, a pro shop, tanning, core room, group room, KIDS ROOM, selectorized equipment, plate loaded equipment, dumbbells go up to 120 lbs and not to mention having 2 sets of dumbbells. An ENTIRE LEG ROOM fully stocked with weights which include 100 lbs plates. It offers personal training through Genesis, and it offers a safe place to train. Don't over think coming here. read more

Great gym. Tons of equipment and staff is helpful and friendly. Membership also offers boot camp classes which are high intensity fitness classes led by experts. Clean facility also offers filtered water bottle refills, showers, Kids' Zone, tanning, one-on-one trainers, and massage. Great for a beginner like me, or a professional body builder. Great environment. Everyone's friendly if you want to chat and also respectful when you don't. Plenty of equipment. Could use some more free weight exercises, as it is loaded with machines, but still a great overall gym. read more
