Moirs told us that as long as they have been selling this product that only two had this problem. We sent them a picture and they called the manufacturer which is Freeflow spas. Freeflow immediately said we will send them a new one. Moirs fordered the same spa and within a couple of weeks we had our new spa. Moirs went above and beyond installing and rewiring our new one. They sent out two guys Steve and Casey, to install the new one and remove the old one. They were excellent and caring. They helped position the spa and made sure it was full and running before they left. None of this cost us one penny.Dealing with Teresa and Don Moir is like dealing with family. They are fair and honest honest. they have us as customers for life.

I spoke directly to Dave Poole several times calling and asking about where we were on finding parts. I was told the entire unit needed to be replaced it was old, it could not be fixed and parts were not available. This was last summer. Waiting to pull funds together to get a new one, and deciding how to approach getting the old one out of the wall unit surrounded by brick, it was going to be a big project. It so happened that in Feb. I needed a new dryer and I hired someone to convert my new dryer from gas to propane and hook it up. He happen to mention they work on anything that is propane. I mentioned my fireplace being propane and looking for ideas how to remove the existing unit from inside a wall. He made a auick inspection and stated to call to set up an appt. with Terry for a service call as he had other calls to attend to on this day. I called and made an appt last Friday "3 day serivce". In less than 1 hour, Terry was able to replace the ignitor and the pilot stating a lot of these parts are compatible and these were just worn out after 27 years but the unit was in great shape. He found that wires to the switch were reconnected backwards during the inspection by the employee of Home Town Store Ukiah inspection and fix it because we never touch it. To my glorious surprise my fireplace lite up like it was brand new installation! Besides the cost savings of a new fireplace and a total wall rip out, I decided to write this review. I learned a few things about at Hometown Store Ukiah. Dave never called me. Dave doesn't return calls. Dave makes promises and does not follow through. Be prepared to call him relentlessly, leave lots messages, and spend a lot of money on something that can probably be fixed in an hour.

The poor quality products, shoddy installation, and predatory customer "disservice" dragged out for nearly a year after the initial insurance claim. If you value your time, money, and sanity, do not use CarpetOne. They tried to pass off an inferior carpet as comparable to the carpet being replaced. The laminate flooring was installed with obvious repeated patterns immediately adjacent to one another. The thinner laminate flooring was installed such that there was a gap between the baseboards and the floor. In dealing with Ben, my mother remarked on multiple occasions that she felt bullied by him, and there were several over-billing discrepancies that the insurance company had to get involved with to resolve. Finally, the installer who put in the laminate floor asked to borrow my father's tools, and after he was done, the tools went missing. I do not have any firm evidence of theft, so I'm not saying they were stolen, but the timing is suspect. Of the several companies engaged to repair the property after the damage, only CarpetOne stands out as a bad experience.
