The security guard at this location a light-skinned Black male has consistently overstepped his role. During my first encounter my two boys and I walked in, and he immediately directed us to sign in at the kiosk because the front desk attendant had stepped away. His behavior during this interaction was uncomfortable and felt unnecessarily confrontational. He asked if we lived in the county then questioned if we actually lived in the area, with a demeanor that came across as stereotyping. His attitude was confusing especially given that his role is security not front desk assistance. Today, I had another issue while on a phone call and tried to speak with the desk clerk. The same security guard intervened repeatedly despite my attempts to communicate that I did not want his involvement. He interrupted the situation unnecessarily and even after I told him to stop speaking to me he continued to interject. At one point he suggested calling for backup and then accused me of walking in aggressively despite me not raising my voice, being hostile, or threatening anyone. This behavior was antagonistic and unprofessional. Security staff are there to ensure safety not to interrogate or judge patients. When I asked for corporate or management contact information to report the incident, I was denied, and subsequent attempts to get this information over the phone were met with the runaround and long hold times forcing me to hang up. I value this urgent care location but I refuse to be subjected to unnecessary intimidation from someone whose role is purely security. This situation needs to be addressed to ensure staff remain in their proper role and patients are treated respectfully. I will be contacting corporate and they need to pull the footage to see his body language and how he spoke to me because it was unwarranted.

My biggest gripe is the people on the other side of the waiting room. The child was coughing up a lung but had no mask and did not bother to cover her face when coughing. To add insult to injury, the parent let her entertain herself with videos/games on the cell phone at top volume. That is why they make headphones people! Do not assume no one else can hear or that it doesn't bother them. I wish the staff had said something to them, at least about a mask. Dr Cassidy was professional, a little cool but not distant.

Went online to book an appointment at this location and understood there was a 2 hour wait time. I got a text telling me to head on in and my place in line would be held, right after booking so I was a little confused. When I arrived, there was no one in the waiting area. I checked in at the kiosk and waited. The NP, Sara, came out to see if I was there for an appointment and I let her know it said a 2 hour wait time. She checked her schedule and then got me in right away. She was super kind and wonderful bedside manner. Got through some pre-checks quickly and then did a Covid/strep/flu test. Pretty sure I was past the contagious period due to my symptoms being a few days ago. She had me wait in waiting area for about 10 minutes while she ran the labs. It all came back as negative and I was on my way. I think I was there for 25 minutes max. The quickness was wonderful but her demeanor made the visit better. I do like the advance of technology now bc you get a text after the visit letting you know about logging in for visit details and lab details. Easy transition from start to finish! Thank you, Sara!

It wasn't busy. Filled out necessary paperwork and waited for a MD for over an hour for a PCR test! Not sure why their techs and nurses weren't authorized to do PCR tests?? This place requires a lot of paperwork. The MD was nice enough and told me that they will call me Saturday night with the results. Ahh... Nope! I called 3 times after my visit with my + rapid test results, for pCR test result and requested treatment. I spoke with nurses. My symptoms were getting worse and as you all know meds work best earlier the better. NO responses came until 7pm Sunday with my PCR result. Yup, CVS closes at 6pm on Sunday. Apparently the MD didn't get any of my messages even though the nurses told me that she /they would tell the MD. By 1pm Sunday, I gave up on this Wellstar UnUrgent-careLESS. Good thing I called my GP's office and got treatment within an hour before CVS closed. Parking is plenty, the facility is clean and the staff is friendly. But THE reason (urgent treatment) for visiting this place was a HUGE MISS. Waste of time and money. Neither is pleasant especially when one is in PAIN. So unless you are a masochist, go to other UC because they don't know it's been more than 2 years since Covid began. Zero Urgency, Zero Care

Was by far the ugliest encounter I have ever had at a doctor's office. Immediately he was handled and I never saw him again at either location. Pretty sure he was let go. I have extremely rare condition which causes rare subset conditions that most doctors pass off on me as "difficult". The Doctors here and their P.A.'s have always gone the mile for me and it has made a difference in my overall quality of life and care. Quite frankly I'm surprised he has not run this practice into the ground. There is no reason for anyone to be a patient here now or in the future.

The wait turned out to be nearly two hours long, and I couldn't help but wondering if an appointment would've allowed me to show up for my assigned time slot rather than wasting time in a waiting room. That said, Dr. Patel is wonderful. He took his time to explain what might be going on in layman's terms, and I appreciated his thorough, unhurried demeanor. For others looking to visit (and those who are able to do so), I'd recommend calling ahead to make an appointment and/or checking in ahead of time. She disregarded a lot of the things I was telling her, only made eye contact when she was telling me to go to my PCP, (like why did you come here) Walking in UC, with clear symptoms of dehydration, left out with a prescription for nausea 20 mins before the pharmacy closed. So not only did I just waste my time, I have to go another night with, body spasms, rolling veins (which I attempted to show Veronica, and she did not even look), hyperventilating while puking, tears in my esophagus elevated heart rate. And again not DRINKING ANY WATER. For 3 days. I've been puking my stomach lining up for 3 days!!!! Im clearly dehydrated, you can see it in my lips they are sticking together from LACK OF ELECTROLYTES! One of my after care instructions is to stay hydrated. When I CANT KEEP ANY THING DOWN. Now excuse me if urgent care doesn't treat dehydration, but Veronica did not even acknowledge my concerns of dehydration. Very poor bedside manners, it was a horrible experience for me. On another note, ladies in the front office were super sweet and nice. Answered all my questions and did not make me feel stupid. One of the ladies and I had a great conversation. I usually don't leave review let alone negative ones. But when Im already dealing with a health issues it's very disappointing to get frustrated with the lack of service you receive when trying to take care of yourself. I definitely should have gotten treated for dehydration. Or referred to somewhere that could help me. Update: My symptoms remained the same and started puking darker colored substance. I checked in to ER, i was immediately set to the back to get hook up to IVs. Having to get a full panel of bloodwork. Waiting on results.
