For that amount of money I would expect better customer service. It's a beautiful salon, clean and well decorated. It wasn't relaxing at all, another cosmetician came in twice to talk loudly to the lady working on me. Not professional. Update. Just after this post she calls me back and says to come in....... she will see me IF I can get there before 7:20pm.

I'm not sure if the artist was new but it took nearly an hour to even glue the nails on. There were also globs of glue under my nails that were not drilled down. The artist was going to do sparkles, but decided against it but did not wipe it off all the way so I had sparkles on only one nail. Also, some nails were not cured all the way and the airbrush was literally peeling off before I left the parking lot. I went back in to get it fixed but after waiting for 15 minutes, I just went down the street to get my nails completely redone because of everything that went wrong and the fact that I was already there for 2+ hours. I decided to give Kosmo another chance because I heard that they were more of a hair salon than a nail salon, so I go in for a haircut and highlights. I emphasized many many many times that I want warm, caramel highlights. The highlights I received were not only too blonde/yellow, but a bit choppy as well. I will say that my haircut was well done though and had very nice layers. Also, the workers were very nice.

One minor thing that didn't bother me but could potentially bother others is that some of the treatment rooms have windows that see into a hallway of the main building. The windows are darkened but they're not private so someone walking into the building can see you while you're on your appointment. This didn't bother me during the appointment but if privacy is important to you then maybe look into a different salon.

I canceled the appointment more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment, and the business confirmed this. Instead of releasing the hold to my credit card, she charged me $100 dollars. During my interaction with the business, they did not mention anything of a non-refundable charge until I inquired about the unauthorized charge on my credit card. I have now filed a claim with my credit card company and submitted proof with screenshots that the appointment confirmation outlined the cancellation policy and proof that I followed the policy! They have opened an investigation and credited my money back! This would have been the first time using this business, and this is not how we treat customers. I would understand the charge if I had been a "no show" or last-minute cancellation, but this was not the case! Do not use his business. They are crooks!
