It almost seems like retailers want you to go to Amazon or online to buy your products. I say this because all I needed was simple battery ring terminals connectors, and since there are no more RadioShack or any other simple electronic stores to get your needs your selections are Best Buy, target, Walmart, or auto stores. Needless to say, I had no luck with all those choices, but I found this place and Robert and customer service was more than understanding and helpful. If you need any sort of electronic components, this is the place for you to shop. Now it's not your normal retail store, so I highly suggest you go online and check them out before you walk in, but they will definitely take care of you. read more

Ordered an RJ45 Panel mount mid June. Received quickly but it was defective. Body manufactured to small for security nut. Unable to secure. All similar items in stock had the same defect. I've been in contact 2-3 times a month. Always told the "Good one are coming in". 4 months with No Resolution yet. Equipment (van) already drilled for industry unique 1 1/8" hole. All other Powerwerx devices (4) already installed and used. Really Frustrated! Roads are really good customer service but marginal product. read more

I have purchased Powerwerx products over the years for boats, trailers, vans and assorted electronic projects. I recently purchased a receiver for my truck for 120 amp anderson connector. I installed it as I waited for my new Airstream. the delivery was late by two months. The very first time I used the connector the door broke off. I contacted Powerwerx and asked for a replacement. Because the product was more than one month old they told me to contact the manufacturer (in Australia) and that they would not stand behind the product. I would urge anyone contemplating a purchase of a product from Powerwerx to use care as they DO NOT stand behind their product if even slightly out of their strict 1 month warranty. Since I have found this company, they have supplied all of my 12v DC supplies and they respond to all of the silly questions I have through their service ticket option. Worst phone support. I called in to get clarification and a solution. When you are speaking to some guy in CA who doesn't know anything (or apparently just started) and there is a five second delay in every response, don't bother calling or even buying anything from them. He obviously doesn't know anything. It appeared he would mute the phone, ask the question to his boss, unmute the phone, and repeat the answer. This went on back and forth for 15 minutes. At least be honest and say I just started, say let me get someone that can help you better. I was ignored when asked to speak to someone who knows the product. For people that sell a very specific product, one would think they know the product. It is obvious they don't and don't care how it comes across. read more

Great Products - Fantastic Customer Service I have rarely submitted a review for any seller BUT my recent experiences with Powerwerx demand that I offer the following information for other Hams to consider. In April of this year I placed an order with Powerwerx for a custom cable and other accessories for use with my solar system. My order was promptly confirmed and shipment initiated. As time passed however, I did not receive the items I had ordered. Upon inquiry, I learned that the delivery service claimed to have delivered my items by purportedly depositing the box in my mailbox. The delivery service actually produced a photo showing my package in a mailbox BUT it was not my mailbox. I contacted the delivery company and was informed that I could not make a claim. Rather the delivery company said that only the shipper (i.e. Powerwerx) could submit a claim. I then contacted Justin at Powerwerx Customer Service. Justin was fantastic. He responded immediately and quickly undertook the work to pursue a claim for mis-delivery of my order. A few weeks later, Justin notified me that Powerwerx was going to re-send my order (i.e. a second shipment) and I shortly received the items I had originally ordered. The custom cable was exactly like I had ordered and all of the accessories I had ordered were present and in perfect condition. As you might expect, I was very pleased with Justin and Powerwerx. Yesterday (3 1/2 months after Powerwerx shipped the first package of my order) I received the first package with my original order in it - meaning I now had received double the items I had originally ordered. I informed Justin at Powerwerx Customer Service assuming the company would have me return one set of the items. However, Justin quickly responded thanking me for the update and graciously informing me that Powerwerx wanted me to keep all of the items they had sent me. Candidly, I was blown away by Justin and Powerwerx's integrity and devotion to high quality customer service. I am absolutely committed to make Powerwerx my go-to Ham radio product seller and recommend, with hesitation, that my fellow Ham radio brothers and sisters do the same. read more

I bought a set of GMRS radios from Powerwerx (Tera TR-505) along with a programming cable and the programming software. I was excited to customize the programming to my specific needs but I couldn't get the radio to talk to the software and there was very little in the manual about programming. I called Powerwerx support and Dave walked me through a few troubleshooting steps until we got things working. Dave was very patient and helpful. In light of my initial purchase experience which was smooth and uneventful to this bit of follow up support, I can't help but recommend this outfit and I will likely return for future radio needs. read more

From a phone call I made to Powerwerx, Dave was very patient with me as I had a lot of technical questions. I places my order in the morning and it was ready by early afternoon for pick up. I showed up and brought my wire device that I'm needing an adaptor for and it didn't fit. It was not Powerwerx's fault. It was a very specific cable and had an interesting grove in the connector. Dave went the extra mile to help me. He really bent his back backwards and I was so impressed on how he helped me get the correct fitting. In the showroom lobby Dave showed me the part he recommends on a nice wall mount monitor and in no time he talked to his technician in the back and I got my connector. Everything fits seamlessly and when I got home, I ran a live test and 100% satisfied. Thanks so much Dave because this small adaptor is going to make the hot Summer a lot more enjoyable! read more

I have had enough of this place! Nothing but ripoffs if your not friends or family. They don't give Military, LE, First responders or Veteran discounts. The prices on amazon on many items are almost double from the price on the website. NONE of the coupon codes ever work. I have received damaged, wrong items in some cases and even used items. The cheapest shipping is two day. They want $10.+ to ship and item to AZ for a 3ft power cord when you can stick it in an envelope for less than a buck. The custom cables are made in house and many are junk. They pullout of the crimp or cold soldered. Bad heat shrink and even open cuts on some items. I received one power cable with a chunk out of it and black tape wrapped over it, and to top it all off, customer service is a joke. 3 to 5 weeks to get replacements for something that is a stocked item. This needs to go out to All HAM's. Stop buying from this place!! This Jack Hole is ripping you off!!! read more

I just received my first online order with Powerwerx and had no issues whatsoever. Prior to this I was looking to have a custom Anderson Powerpole cable created via their online "configurator" but was not sure that it could be further customized (with a change to the default connector orientation). Powerwerx has an online form for customer service questions. I filled out the form, gave them a clear description of what I was looking for, and a support case was automatically created which they answered via email a few minutes later. After a few back-and-forth exchanges via email it became clear that they would not be able to make a cable with the config I needed. But in spite of this they gave me all the attention one would normally only expect for a paying customer... After having this support case closed I realized that I could still have them build my cable, and then order some additional parts from them, so I could tweak it to my exact needs. I ordered the parts and a short cable as a proof of concept and it looks like this will work like I need it to. So I just now made my second online order for that custom cable. To the other two folks here who are having issues with Powerwerx customer service: You should be aware that a lot of online storefronts tend to do their business exclusively online (regardless or whether or not they publish a phone number). I purchased an item at a cost of $179.99 that proports to eliminate or at the very least reduce alternator whine from my car audio system. The Newmar 150-A Alternator Line Noise Filter 150 Amp was shipped quickly via fedex at a cost of $16.99. The product arrived by the expected date. Upon installing the noise filter, it did absolutely nothing which it claimed it could do. The noise was still present and was not eliminated or reduced. I received a RMA code and proceeded to pay almost $20 to ship the Newmar 150-A Alternator Line Noise Filter 150 Amp back to POWERWERX. I was refunded the product price only. I messaged POWERWERX and was told they do not refund shipping. So between getting the product and returning it, I lost almost $40 for a product that was not only useless to me, but one that I no longer have. I spent close to $40 with absolutely nothing to show for it. I am extremely disappointed with this company. read more

I currently purchased over $400 dollars of equipment. After receiving the package. I was not happy with the radio microphone earpiece because it didn't go inside the ear, just laid over the ear. I bought two of them, one I didn't even open. The other I opened to inspect the ear piece and did not like the design at all. I called to return it and they would not return it because that item is not returnable due to hygiene concerns. On their packaging they indicate easy to clean for hygiene. I advised them I never put them on, the agent did escalate it to a manager but they would not work with me, so now they have lost a customer for $40 dollars of equipment. My biggest grip is no where when I purchased them did it notify me they were not refundable.. beware. read more

This is our companies first time using Powerwerx, and so far the experience has been poor. They seem to have a great website and selection but customer service has been less than pleasant. We placed a large order and during transit the order was lost. (which both supplier and UPS agree on) We have been trying to get information on the status of the order, whether it be a refund of another order but neither have been successful. The company does not return calls as it said it would. I would be mindful of the poor customer service before ordering. read more
