So what you have to do is look at the unit. Run to the parking lot and then call them over the phone so it's technically over the phone to lock in the rate. What they're trying to do is have you pay for a unit blindly first. They'll offer you "a refund" if you don't like the unit. What have we allowed corporations to do? Dear Lord. From the start, they took the time to walk through our home and clearly ask about everything we wanted to move so they could mentally map out how to load the truck efficiently. They were extremely diligent with protection, using blankets and/or shrink wrap on all furniture and electronics, and they were very by the book when it came to reviewing the contract and confirming details. I especially appreciated that they checked all electronics before and after the move and even had me climb into the truck at the end to verify that nothing had been left behind.
