This clothing store is similar to many Asian clothing shops that I have seen. I moved in Gardena this Old Town Gardena for about a little 1 year now. I enjoy popping in and out of this store about twice a month and I always seem to find something to buy that I like. Just like any store they always have some good deals. These last 3 weeks was the last time this store was open. Today July 30, 2024, is like the last day they will be open to the public for business. Another owner that owns the Antique store on this block greeted Ms.Kang telling her that it was nice having her here. They both said their goodbyes. For the short time I shopped here-everyone was nice. All the employees were nice & helpful. I will miss this store, having to walk across the street from my apartment. God Bless Jenny Kang.

The store has recently been remodeled and all the clothes are also color coordinated to help you find what you're looking. Also needed something very last minute but it was after store hours, I just reached out to their IG page (@swagg_bootique) to hold it for me the next day and he told me he'd stay open later & that any time a customer needs something last minute he'd be available to meet me at the store to purchase items. This is something other stores definitely don't offer! This was also the lowest I've ever been offered for clothes. Places like Plato's Closet, Buffalo Exchange, and Uptown Cheapskate give you way more for your items. They had a $1 pile, meaning items they were willing to pay me one dollar for. And then they had a 10‑cent pile, meaning they were willing to pay me ten cents for certain items. Yes, ten cents. For 10/12 pieces, they offered me around $6.30. It was laughable. Actually laughable. So if you're looking to sell your items for dirt cheap, this is the place. On a lighter note, they did have a lot of nice things for sale; secondhand, some new, some designer, really great quality pieces at good prices. I got a really nice pair of green cargo pants for $12. I recommend for shopping NOT selling.

Over the past year, l've noticed a big improvement in how things are run, and I truly think the new store manager deserves credit for that. In previous years, when I brought in clothes to sell, my experiences with some of the buyers felt very unprofessional, in fact I had multiple bad experiences with one of the female buyers that I notice still works there. She was very rude and condescending and now when I come in to sell I specifically don't want her to attend me. However, this year has been a completely different story. The newer buyers seem much better trained, more organized, respectful, and clear in how they take care of their customers. The whole process feels smoother and more customer-focused now, which makes a huge difference. In fact, today I had a question about the pricing of some of my items and the new store manager was very helpful and I left feeling very happy! Because of these positive changes, I actually look forward to bringing items in again, and I feel more confident in the process when working with the newer staff. Overall, I'm glad to see the progress and hope it continues in this direction. I have also recommended this location to my family and friends and they love the store!
