Had such a great experience at Prasinos! The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous and the vibe was everything -- such a cute brunch spot. Our waiter was super nice and made the experience even better. We tried the hummus for the first time and it was actually a really nice experience. I also got the shrimp and steak tacos and they were wonderful! Everything was flavorful and fresh. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for brunch, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere.

If you're in the Saint Charles area, this is a must do! Stopped in for happy hour after work. I had their reasoning, their beef tenderloin, sliders, and truffle fries. The space is so nice and open and clean. Very uplifting environment. People at the bar had a good vibe. And those sliders I will dream about! You must get them.

I always enjoy going to Prasino for brunch! They have a nice restaurant space with plenty of seating for large and small group. There is also a cute bar area if you wanna stop in just for drinks. In the St. Charles area there's plenty of parking outside the restaurant, which is another bonus. The staff is always very friendly and service is always fast and efficient. I came in with a larger group for lunch and this impacted service time a little bit, but our waiter was very communicative throughout our visit. I think they take reservations in advance so if you have a larger group and come on a busier night, that may be helpful. I always enjoy their pancake breakfast with potatoes and eggs. I wish there were a few more non-meat options for breakfast items but everything is pretty tasty. The pancakes are huge! And I love their drink offerings as well.

Beautiful space, fabulous staff, great food. We were happy to find everything we needed to put together our gluten & dairy free meals. Food was fresh and prepared to order. The coffee was delicious! We would definitely return!

Beautiful place to come grab food with friends or loved one. The vibes are laid back, but upscale on a budget. The interior is clean, modern and warm. I love that the natural lights comes in through one of the many windows they have. The wine walls add a nice touch for photos. Service was quick. Our server was amazing, and one of the best servers i ever had. He was attentive to our needs, and offered suggestions for food recommendations. I ordered the raspberry stuffed French toast with a side of bacon. The French toast was fluffy, not overly sweet and flavorful. The bacon was cooked perfectly with a slight crunch. I also ordered a pineapple mimosa, that was delicious and refreshing. This is definitely a place to come to when you want to go to brunch, lunch or simply just vibe with friends. Not to mention, they are Gluten free friendly!

The Prasino burger was on another level. The bread was soft, not too thick and the burger itself was juicy and so good. The tomato jam and picked onions were a unique combination that complemented the burger so well. One of the best burgers I've had in a while. And don't get me started on the butternut squash- so good and seasoned so well. The downside was that it took us 15 minutes for a server to come and wait on us, but I still give 5 stars because the food was excellent and once we were waited on, our server was very nice. It was a busy Saturday for what it's worth- so that's probably what the holdup was.

Praisino is absolutely fantastic and easily has some of the best brunch in Saint Charles. From the moment we sat down, everything impressed us; our server was wonderful, the restaurant itself is beautiful, and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. Every single person at our table loved their meal. I'm completely obsessed with the Florentine crepes and the truffle breakfast potatoes, both are must tries. I truly can't recommend Praisino's brunch enough!

We have been regular brunch customers here for several years. We came to know our menu favorites and preferences. We arrived early on a Sunday morning, well ahead of the brunch crowd, only about 6-7 tables occupied. The hostess, who absolutely refused to smile or act pleasant at all, seated us quickly. Our server was great, very attentive and offering suggestions and answering our questions. The food took what felt like a fairly long time to arrive. We weren't in a hurry, so it was no problem, but unusual from our previous experiences. When the food arrived, my go to, the Green Chili Pork Skillet, showed up on a plate instead of the usual mini cast iron skillet. Also noteworthy was the juice present on the plate. A hallmark of something that has been refrigerated and then reheated. The potatoes, normally seasoned to perfection and crispy, were soggy from the juice! This is a much different dish than previously delivered. My wife's eggs Benedict was served on a half croissant, only half!!! Where was the other half? The prices here are not low, but we have typically paid knowing we were going to get delicious food and good service. The food preparation has changed significantly. We are unlikely to return for another $100 brunch. Sorry to say as this was one of our favorite brunch spots.

I had been here before a looooong time ago and can't for the life of me remember now it was back then but ohhhhhhh man. The Prasino burger is probably the best burger I've ever had. And it's not a light comment from me to say. After every bite I kept thinking to myself, is there a better burger? And nothing came to mind. Ashley was our waitress. She was very attentive even when our whole party hadn't arrived. She even took our group picture which we really appreciated. It was pretty loud and idk if it's because of the acoustics because the place wasn't that crowded. Something to note: It was 80 degrees outside but inside it had to have been low 60s, high 50s. I am so glad I brought a sweater with me or else I wouldnt have been able to enjoy the evening.

Stopped in for breakfast and it did not disappoint! The restaurant has such a nice, elegant vibe--bright, welcoming, and perfect for a slower start to the morning. I ordered the classic plate with pancakes, eggs, potatoes, and bacon, and everything was spot on: * Pancakes were fluffy, golden, and not overly sweet. They came out warm with real maple syrup, and honestly could have been a meal on their own. * Eggs were cooked exactly how I like them--soft, creamy, and seasoned well (you can tell they weren't just rushed out of the kitchen). * Potatoes had that perfect crisp outside and soft inside, with just enough seasoning to keep every bite flavorful. * Bacon was crispy, smoky, and not greasy at all--just how bacon should be. Portions were generous without being overwhelming, and everything was plated really nicely instead of just tossed together. Service was friendly and attentive--my coffee cup never went empty. All around, it felt like an elevated take on a traditional breakfast. Simple, delicious, and done really well. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for brunch or whenever I'm craving a classic breakfast in a classy setting!

Brunch at Prasino is a much try. There are classic breakfast options like eggs and bacon and fun options like banana bread french toast. A fun holiday option was their espresso martini and macarons tree. I went for a breakfast celebration and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a variety of seating options from circular booths, large bar area with high tops, and a fun wine room for parties. Very accessible for wheelchair access but it is a louder restaurant when full.

Prasino is a local favorite of ours. We have been there many times and have never been disappointed. I love the P.e.I. mussels sautéd white wine and garlic with a chili butter and cilantro that is so delicious. The mussels are usually large in season and the toasted bread that is served is a true delight dipped in the sauce. I have often ordered an additional serving because a true Italian cannot leave a great sauce to be discarded without a good stroll thru the garden with toast points. The service is consistently good here as well. Bartenders are on top of their game with drinks and dinner service should you choose to eat at the bar as we often do. The wood fired grilled chicken wings are delicious, meaty and their dry rub with chili oil is outstanding. The Prasino hamburger is is second to none and often a reason we go. Topped with smoked Gouda, arugula and tomato jam it is simple but the jam gives it a sweetness that sets it apart. i love that they serve breakfast thru out most the day with many great choices to satisfy anyone. They also have a great selection of seafood including sushi rolls, ahi tuna wontons, avocado lobster salad, grouper fish tacos, salmon with pesto as well as dinner specials which can be pricey but always delicious and worth the extra. I highly recommend as we have made it a bi-monthly ritual.

We went on a Saturday night, where everyone was busy but Prasinos. To start off, the service was a little slow, which is expected and we got smoke wings as an appetizer. They were delicious and i would absolutely get it again! I got the Lobster & Cheese and the presentation was good, but the dish itself was a bit on the blander side. Other than that, everything else was good.

Ask the Community - Prasino St. Charles

What's the best item on the dinner menu?

It was the short rib, but they took it off the menu and replaced it with the short rib tacos which are not as good.

    Is there outdoor seating?

There is but it's enclosed for the fall/winter

Can you only order breakfast until 3pm?

They have brunch offered until 3pm. So you have the option of breakfast and lunch.

Do they have breakfast everyday or just weekends?

They offer a breakfast menu daily

Do they always automatically add 20% tip to your bill?

I believe it is only on large parties. I just pulled up a receipt from August and I did not have a 20% tip on it. But that would have most likely been a 2 person party.

Is there a happy hour, or a night when wine is 1/2 off bottles?

They do have a happy hour but I do not recall the details of their happy hour. I remember some items being half off but not sure if it was wine bottles or just glasses of wine.

I normally don't like leaving negative reviews, but something felt different this time. When we walked in there was only one other couple dining, and there was noticeable clutter sitting in the corners of the restaurant. It gave the place a different feel than what we remembered from our last visit. I ordered the Creole Breakfast Gravy. The biscuit itself was excellent--light, fluffy, and exactly how a biscuit should be. Unfortunately the gravy was disappointing. It tasted more like regular sausage gravy with a heavy amount of cayenne pepper and Cajun seasoning added to it. The flavors just didn't balance well. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict. One poached egg was perfect, but the other came out over medium. That's something a trained chef normally wouldn't send out, and it made me feel like the kitchen might have a cook working the line rather than a chef overseeing the dishes. I do want to say the waitress was phenomenal. She was very attentive, friendly, and always made sure our coffee stayed fresh and hot. Her service was definitely the highlight of the visit. We will likely come back again because we know this restaurant can do better. Hopefully the kitchen can correct a few things and bring the consistency back.

However, there are some standard issues. Service is spotty at best often leaning toward flat out rude. The side salad is awful, but the cessation delicious. The potato soup is terrible and flavorless and there have been few times this has not been the case. Today however, I ordered my usual and genuinely enjoyed it. My dining partner ordered a BLT and potato soup. The person who dropped off the food was flat out rude and didn't want to be bothered. Our waiter, John S was terrible. It was brought to his attention that the soup was ice cold and the BLT was on toasted bread when specifically it had been requested that it not be. It took less than two minutes for him to "fix" it which meant nuking the soup and loading it with cheese which hadn't been in the original bowl and it had too much cheese and as always was gross. The BLT he took the top bread off and replaced the top with non toasted bread and left the bottom toasted. It was not made correctly and he knew it. An entire bowl of soup was left and not once did he ask if we'd like to take it to go, or offer drink refills. He was terrible! The ambience of the place is always nice but the greeters are equally unfriendly on most occasions. It's a shame because their main menu of steaks is delicious but I don't go as often as I used to because staff does not know how to perform even mildly courteous customer service. This visit was substandard in many ways and we left very unhappy with the service received and one person still hungry. For a nice restaurant that charges what they do, I would think they would want to perform better.
