While she has done many root canals, she referred me out to an endodontist as she said this was a severe case with high risk. I ended up getting 2 root canals & then came back here for the crowns. They took the best care of me!! In addition to the incredible services they went way above & beyond by giving me flowers & a card & hugs, as my mother passed in the middle of my temporary crowns & getting the permanent crowns. I haven't even seen these people and already they were difficult and the receptionist gave me a lot of attitude and instead of saying "we understand and have a good day bye" she said "I agree" when I just said it isn't a good fit at this time. This lady has no business running an office . I usually try to refrain from leaving bad reviews but I have to let people know this happened so others don't experience this. I'm really sad . My therapist recommended them and I can't use them now. If I am spoken to like a 3 year old over the phone, I can only begin to imagine what my in person experience would've been. Not The place for autistic people as they interpret every tone of voice that is a lower tone to be someone upset with them and they make commands like they're training a dog with you.

Answered a lot of question I had at the beginning and set me up with an amazing dental specialist. I chose her because the first visit was excellent, butterfly treatment. I get my appointments on time but with her only. My teeth are sensitive and I've had a lot of previous treatments to maintain a nice smile. So yes, very picky when it comes to who drills into me. They take insurance and I belive they also offer payment plans through carecredit. Double check with them. There is plenty of parking, you can walk up the stairs or use the elevator. Great waiting area and there is water and I think coffee too. Give them a try!

Months ago, I cancelled all…read moremy appointments due to a traumatic experience, and even though I called to cancel, and then last month I got a reminder and called them again to tell them I cancelled, today I got an email about a missed appointment. The traumatic experience that I had last year led me to find a new dentist since what was routine prior to that experience has caused me to now have severe anxiety anytime I go to the dentist. I had a dentist who clearly didn't have patience for anything going wrong, and now have to rebuild my ability to think of the dentist as routine. I went in for a crown procedure, there were technical difficulties with the computer, the hygenist put local anesthetic on the wrong tooth, I corrected them, and the put local anesthetic on the correct tooth. Then after putting in epinephrine, and starting drilling, I still wasn't numb enough, and the dentist told me that the amount she was giving me was what they give to someone for a full extraction. (side note, I found out that I have a genetic thing where my body needs more anesthetic). after the second dose, my mouth was finally numb enough, but my tongue wasn't cooperating. While having my tooth drilled, I had an adverse reaction to the epinephrine, and was fighting back a panic attack, and the dentist admonished that I needed to control my tongue. After all the drilling was done, they made a temporary crown because of the aforementioned technical difficulties, and then the dentist told me that it's normal to feel like you're being waterboarded in this situation and that if I ever needed work done on my back teeth again, I should just get them pulled. The next day, I called the dentist, and asked that the dentist with terrible bedside manner never work on me again, and to put the adverse reaction to epinephrine in my chart. I don't expect the dentist to be a fun time, but I also don't think that telling someone it's normal to feel like you're being waterboarded, and that they should get their teeth pulled next time is helpful. I think there are a few other interventions to be tried before that. Additionally, I talked to the dentist about getting a sleeping mouthguard, and I understood that we had ordered it. When I called back a month later, there was no order, and no record, so I was going to have to come in and get my mouth refitted for it. I ended just going online and ordering one at a different place because I no longer had confidence in their communication, or recording abilities. Worst dentist experience I've ever had, and the dentist has always just been routine for me. Almost a year later, I'm still highly anxious to go to the dentist, and the one I am going to, I drive 45 minutes just to have someone who is kind to me while I'm having work done. I wasn't planning on leaving a review. But since I got an email about missing an appointment I've called twice to cancel, here we are.

I was extremely nervous about going to a different dentist since I recently moved and have always been to my childhood/family dentist in CA. However, all the staffs were super nice; friendly and so accommodating. It seriously made my day feeling positive, but most importantly, happy after my check up and cleaning. Their office is so bright and clean; and I love their "Mosiac" artwork. Dr, Nguyen was kindly enough to give me a tour of her place as well, so kind! Prior to moving here in '04 I'd had numerous dentists and Dr. Dunsmoor is by far the most professional and competent dentist I have ever dealt with. Her exams are methodical and thorough. On numerous occasions over the years she has instructed a hygienist re-do a section that wasn't cleaned to her high standards. Her advice in the care of my choppers has also been spot-on. Very early on I encountered a little friction with Dr. Dunsmoor's staff. Since that time she has upgraded her front desk staff and it has never happened again. I only mention it in the spirit of full transparency and note that I still give a 5 star rating. Additionally, the couple of times I felt I've needed Dr. Dunsmoor after hours she has always gotten back to me promptly and once met me outside of office hours which I appreciated very much. Lastly, she provides excellent and honest referrals. The endodontist and oral surgeon referrals she has provided were first class.
