My wife had some dental work done yesterday. She was very pleased with the quality of care and overall office experience.

New in town, hard to know how to choose the right dentist…read more When I called Triangle Family Dentistry on Carpenter Fire Station Road, I spoke to a gentleman who was so assuring that Dr. Smith would be a great match with my particular needs. So first visit Ashley was awesome with my periodontal cleaning ( I get those 4x per year) She was gentle, knowledgeable, kind, professional and efficient! I met my dentist, Matt and asked about a couple crowns. He assured he could do it and today he did, with the assistance of Mia! I believe it was the smoothest crown work I've ever had. I never even felt a needle go in for the numbing. I had a particularly difficult kind of old crown to take off but he was completely confident and I felt very comfortable the whole time. Ashley, Mia, and Matt were very attentive to my neck problems and made sure I was comfortable through both those procedures. The facility itself is just gorgeous. There is a grand of coffee in the lobby. Plus water. Lobby comfy, roomy, and well furnished. Receptionists, check out staff, everyone professional and kind. I am thrilled to have found my dental care providers! Parking is at a premium, but a few more yards to walk is not a big deal!

A terrible place. I contacted them suffering from acute tooth pain; they scheduled an appointment,…read morebut then ultimately tried--twice--to reschedule it for two weeks later. I simply cannot believe they would treat a patient in acute pain this way. The reception staff couldn't even offer a reasonable alternative time slot; they simply presented me with a *fait accompli*--that they couldn't see me. Consequently, I was forced to cancel the appointment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I'm not aware of the negative experience that was mentioned, but as someone who is autistic, I've…read morehad nothing but wonderful experiences at Dr. Swart's office. The staff treats everyone like family, and they consistently go out of their way to accommodate individual needs and make patients feel comfortable. Before making a decision based solely on someone else's perspective, I encourage you to visit Dr. Swart and the team for yourself. In my experience, they are among the best dental offices around. Their compassion, professionalism, and commitment to patient care truly stand out. Highly recommended!

I am autistic and I'm seeking a dentist who recognizes the frustration tolerance challenges and…read moreexecutive function issues that often comes with that- I'm not seeking one who makes it so I need to contact 3 people to get my information in on the phone and if they bully me about just needing to get information in and trying to do it efficiently over the phone, I can only imagine how my dental appointments would've gone and how much they would've disrespected me about how often I brush or floss. I haven't even seen these people and already they were difficult and the receptionist gave me a lot of attitude and instead of saying "we understand and have a good day bye" she said "I agree" when I just said it isn't a good fit at this time. This lady has no business running an office . I usually try to refrain from leaving bad reviews but I have to let people know this happened so others don't experience this. I'm really sad . My therapist recommended them and I can't use them now. If I am spoken to like a 3 year old over the phone, I can only begin to imagine what my in person experience would've been. Not The place for autistic people as they interpret every tone of voice that is a lower tone to be someone upset with them and they make commands like they're training a dog with you.

I have been coming here for over a year now. I had changed insurance type with my same carrier and…read morehad to make a switch. I am VERY happy that I ended up here at TGD Apex. For starters, it is my neighborhood. Then from the beginning of treatment, the staff here was awesome. Answered a lot of question I had at the beginning and set me up with an amazing dental specialist. I chose her because the first visit was excellent, butterfly treatment. I get my appointments on time but with her only. My teeth are sensitive and I've had a lot of previous treatments to maintain a nice smile. So yes, very picky when it comes to who drills into me. They take insurance and I belive they also offer payment plans through carecredit. Double check with them. There is plenty of parking, you can walk up the stairs or use the elevator. Great waiting area and there is water and I think coffee too. Give them a try!

Triangle family dentistry - Green level isn't great at communication. Months ago, I cancelled all…read moremy appointments due to a traumatic experience, and even though I called to cancel, and then last month I got a reminder and called them again to tell them I cancelled, today I got an email about a missed appointment. The traumatic experience that I had last year led me to find a new dentist since what was routine prior to that experience has caused me to now have severe anxiety anytime I go to the dentist. I had a dentist who clearly didn't have patience for anything going wrong, and now have to rebuild my ability to think of the dentist as routine. I went in for a crown procedure, there were technical difficulties with the computer, the hygenist put local anesthetic on the wrong tooth, I corrected them, and the put local anesthetic on the correct tooth. Then after putting in epinephrine, and starting drilling, I still wasn't numb enough, and the dentist told me that the amount she was giving me was what they give to someone for a full extraction. (side note, I found out that I have a genetic thing where my body needs more anesthetic). after the second dose, my mouth was finally numb enough, but my tongue wasn't cooperating. While having my tooth drilled, I had an adverse reaction to the epinephrine, and was fighting back a panic attack, and the dentist admonished that I needed to control my tongue. After all the drilling was done, they made a temporary crown because of the aforementioned technical difficulties, and then the dentist told me that it's normal to feel like you're being waterboarded in this situation and that if I ever needed work done on my back teeth again, I should just get them pulled. The next day, I called the dentist, and asked that the dentist with terrible bedside manner never work on me again, and to put the adverse reaction to epinephrine in my chart. I don't expect the dentist to be a fun time, but I also don't think that telling someone it's normal to feel like you're being waterboarded, and that they should get their teeth pulled next time is helpful. I think there are a few other interventions to be tried before that. Additionally, I talked to the dentist about getting a sleeping mouthguard, and I understood that we had ordered it. When I called back a month later, there was no order, and no record, so I was going to have to come in and get my mouth refitted for it. I ended just going online and ordering one at a different place because I no longer had confidence in their communication, or recording abilities. Worst dentist experience I've ever had, and the dentist has always just been routine for me. Almost a year later, I'm still highly anxious to go to the dentist, and the one I am going to, I drive 45 minutes just to have someone who is kind to me while I'm having work done. I wasn't planning on leaving a review. But since I got an email about missing an appointment I've called twice to cancel, here we are.
