This is a small, family run business that genuinely works in the best interest of their customers. Many businesses say they put their customers first, but Precedence Auto walks the talk, delivering service far beyond expectations. I had a complicated issue that was difficult to solve. I bought a new vehicle and it smelled quite badly. Bad odors can be difficult to remove from vehicles. There is great potential to have a disappointed customer if the expectations are not correct. Enrique took a lot of time explaining the potential causes, the process for resolution, and the hoped for and possible outcomes to resolve the smell in my car. He took so much time to make sure that I would be satisfied with his service that I knew this would be the company I would hire no matter the price they would charge. As it turns out, the price was very reasonable, and the work was very satisfactory. At the end of the day, the owner of the business was there when I picked up my car. He went way out of his way to thank me for the work even though it was a relatively small job. Purchased a brand new 2014 BMW X6 and I wanted to protect my purchase in every way possible. The guys at Precedence Auto Reconditioning treated me first class, and my car, as if it was their own prize vehicle. I had them install the "clear bra" product on the entire hood, bumpers (front & rear), door panels, quarter panels (front & rear). It looks great and Rafael made sure I was not inconvenienced by the time it took to install. He wanted it done right, as I did. He took care of a rental car on two separate occasions. His installer, Ken, made sure that every detail was taken care of. There was even a minor mishap with a piece of trim. It was very minor and no one might have even noticed the small scratch, but I did, and that is what mattered to them. So they ordered a new one from BMW to make sure that I was happy with their work. Just picked up my car from Precedence, after dropping off for a rear-bumper repair. I've used this group before on several occasions and would happily use them again. Here's why: - they are extremely flexible. They can work any number of accommodations with drivers and their insurance. If you wish not to use insurance, they will provide the most reasonable costs of any other shop in the greater Sacramento area; - they are extremely professional. The work is top quality. No worries at all about their competence, and they have invaluable experience working on high-end autos. - they go above and beyond expectations. Although just a simple fender bender, they also washed and waxed my entire car, and they even detailed the interior better than most Detailers would. (They went so far as to clean out my middle console and thoroughly clean the INSIDE of it, as well as the inner glove compartment.) They even washed the upholstery and the carpets! Wow. Great service and timely repairs which were outstanding. My car looks brand new. I went in for an estimate that was completed quickly. The estimate was reasonably priced for the work necessary to repair my vehicle. I was quoted the time needed to make these repairs and was pleasantly surprised when I was called to be told my car would be ready early. However, the real surprise was picking up my car and finding out not only had the repairs been completed making my car look new again, but Precedence went beyond my expectations. They had taken the time to correct a few other items of natural road wear - those little dings, scratches, blemishes that all cars get mysteriously in parking lots and from driving. I have had my wife's BMW repaired by Rafael three times and my Toyota Tacoma repaired by him twice. Each time it was a very pleasant experience. We purchased my wife's BMW new in 2014 and thanks to the repairs and detailing provided at Precedence, it still looks like it did the day we drove it out of the dealers showroom! We have taken our cars to Precedence for quite some time. This time I'm writing a review. Enrique is always very helpful and pleasant. Jewel - the gal who always answers the phone is very kind and easy to talk to. I have a six year old black Nissan Murano and my husband has a 3 year old ruby red Lexus ES 350. I just took my Murano to have a new grille installed and to get a total detail. They did a beautiful job. I really had no concerns that they wouldn't because the attention to detail is what I've come to expect from Precedence. Being black and six years old with nearly 100K - this car shouldn't look as nice as it does, but thanks to Enrique and all of the talented, hard-working crew - it will look great for years to come. I have built a 57 chevy pickup as a hobby and have had paint and detail work done here at Precedence on two visits. The first visit was to fix a damaged fender and some rock chips as well as realign the door and hood. My truck is painted black, which shows any imperfections in body work. The job performed was beyond my expectations. It is very hard to fine a shop who will do repair work on a hot rod especially when you are fallowing another shops paint and body work. Many shops are only doing insurance work where the money is. Precedence does great work and has long time hot rod body and paint employees that know how to fix hot rods. I recently had a detail on my truck before going to Hot august nights last summer and the truck showed beautifully! The past several months have found my wife and I needing to bring both of our vehicles in for body work. I cannot be more impressed with Precedence and their work, I have been looking all over the Sacramento/ Bay area region for a legitimate shop that could confidently, completely detail the exterior of my 37' 2017 Heartland Cyclone toy hauler. Dozens of shops in the showed false interest, but just about all of them either failed to follow up or seemed to lack the know how of how to detail these trailers. I brought my car to Precedence because they had a really good reputation as well as the fact that they had a contract with the dealership where I have bought three BMWs. My front bumper needed to be replaced. Not only did they complete the work, but they trimmed several parts out of the work that were originally included in my estimate and discounted several other parts, the total of which ended up costing me 10% LESS than what the insurance company had paid me for the repair. In the 30 years of owning cars, I have worked with some of the better known body shops in Sacramento and Precedence Auto Reconditioning does better work at for a better price. If you even have minor detail work needed or you are looking to sell your car and you need it fixed up, they can handle any type of work; seat dying, carpet repair, upholstery, thorough detail, body work, etc. The body shop is excellent and they are able to match up paint perfectly, which I have found to be a problem with many shops in Sacramento. At the recommendation of my mechanic, I brought my limited production 2009 Pontiac GXP Coupe to Precedence for an overall clean-up, leather seat cover replacement, and full detail to get it back into shape. Took my Lexus SUV to Precedence to get a clear bra put on. Rafael and his gang did a great job. Prices were reasonable and Rafael, the owner, worked with my budget also. Ended up also painting the front bumper to give it a better finish. I especially appreciated the honesty. He called me up humbly apologizing that there was a delay and he needed more time to get the job done. It was worth the wait no doubt. It's not just a detail job they are doing, every job they do is a work of art - really.
