I initially reached out for a refrigerator water line install and dishwasher water line install as well as a quote on new pipe hangers and shower, toilet, and sink install which I told the receptionist when booking . I asked the receptionist since I did not have kitchen cabinets and sink installed yet if the water line for dishwasher could be done or if I needed to wait and was told it wasn't an issue. Fast forward and plumber came out put in a line for refrigerator and said dishwasher couldn't be installed until sink was installed. I was charged over $300 for work and never received a quote for other work. After calling back twice inquiring , I finally got called back to say I was too far away for big jobs.

The technician tried a few parts and said it was the control card. Expensive repair but after I didn't hear back after a couple of days I called and was told they couldn't find the card or suitable replacement so they gave me a $10k quote to replace the whole unit. I asked if it was covered by the warranty since it's only 6 years old and he said they couldn't find any service records so the manufacturer wouldn't honor the warranty. I got a second opinion from another local company and they found a clogged orafice. Once cleared it worked fine and that said this unit will last for years and is still under warranty. Roland Black called a few days later to see if I want to schedule the installation or the new furnace. I explained what happened and asked to cancel my annual service contract and get that money back. She said she would talk to her manager but I have not heard back in about a week. I can't recommend Roland and Black. A friend told me they had a similar experience.

A great overall experience. Lighthouse did as much as I…read morecould ask for, from an HVAC company. James was thorough, professional, and polite. I first needed my flex duct supply line replaced. I contacted 4 companies in total. After about three weeks I decided on Lighthouse because of their demeanor and attention to detail during my estimate. Of the 4 they were the 2nd lowest price, and to be honest the variance from lowest to highest wasn't significant (about18%). They did the work properly, everything is sealed nice and tight, and functioning as it should. Next, I was also having some issues with my ac/blower fan. James called the manufacture on two occasions to check further into my issue, seeing if this was common or not. After the manufacture was unaware of any problems similar to mine, James returned to take a closer look at numerous components. Long story short it took him 30 mins. to diagnose and repair the problem (correctly). Before eventually hiring Lighthouse. There was more extensive work that I also had quoted for a future project, by Lighthouse and the 3 other companies. Such as moving of floor vents and or just sealing those vents. Instead of standing by their work, they tried to charge me for another repair on the same unresolved problem. Very disappointed -- poor value and no accountability.
