Dr. Tanner and all his staff were super supportive, understanding, kind, and gentle with me. I was able to get a cleaning and crown done with no problems. I was in search of a new dentist because I moved to the east side recently, and my old dentist was more central. I picked this place to try out because of the great Yelp reviews. NEVER will I go here again. I came in for a cleaning. I'm used to them scrubbing every single tooth during a cleaning; however, here they just started scrubbing at any tooth they saw plaque on, which I thought was a little strange, but okay. I could've looked passed that IF I wasn't getting soaking wet during the whole cleaning!! My face was soaked, and the water started dripping down my neck. I seriously thought it was a joke. I stopped the hygienist and asked, "Am I supposed to be getting this soaked?", and he said, "Yes, that's the water pressure." He handed me paper towels, so I just kind of started dabbing myself. SO weird, SO uncomfortable. The dentist came in to do the checkup. He asked if I have been having any problems. I pointed out a cavity to him that I had seen one day while I was flossing. He said, "Yep, that's a cavity." And against my better judgment a boomed an appointment to have it filled here. The filling procedure went smoothly, it wasn't uncomfortable like the cleaning. But I get home...I CAN STILL SEE THE CAVITY. I call them back to tell them I can still see the cavity that I pointed out to them. They said, "Oh, no. That's just teeth staining." Ummmmm no, it's circular and sticky. It's a friggin cavity. I ended up going back to my old dentist 2 days later, not only did he have to take out and redo the filling that they did, he also had to push back my gums to fill the cavity, because it was spread underneath the gum!! I'm a person who has teeth problems pretty frequently. I don't even want to imagine what would have happened in the future if I had left the filling the way it was when I left Precise Dental. Having had bad experiences as a child and teenager, going through dental and orthodontic hell. I just stopped going to dentist. In losing the majority of enamel on one front tooth, and starting to lose enamel on my other front teeth. I lost my desire to smile and was embarrassed. I finally decided I needed to do something about it. So decided to go to Yelp and find a dentist. I looked at another dentist that had 5 stars, but as I read the reviews and his reaction to them. I realized "NO THANK YOU!". He was the perfect example of why I stopped going to dentist. Then I found Dr. Tanner!!! My prayers were answered, and I found the BEST dentist in the world. His staff is wonderful, and very friendly. Plus they help keep you calm and explain everything. I had NO, again NO pain during my cleaning, fillings and getting veneers. Came here today to have a chipped crown looked at and replaced. The building is really nice and really clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Tanner was awesome and explained everything to me to where I can understand it. The way the computer is set up you are able to view what they are viewing and he explains what you are looking at. I think that is the best feature of this dental office. I didn't need the crown replaced but the lady at the front desk informed me that my insurance doesn't cover replacement crowns if the crown is younger than 5 years old. I did not know that but I was so thankful she made me aware of that and that she did the research. Thank goodness it didn't need to be replaced because that would have sucked major donkey sacks. I just had some fillings put in, which is the first serious dental work I've had done here, but I've been sold since I started coming in for cleanings. Dr. Tanner is an excellent dentist--I didn't feel the drilling at all--but the staff is the real differentiator. I have shockingly bad dental insurance, and Ashley at the front desk has had much more patience trying to wrangle it than I would. This time around I missed my initial appointment and she rescheduled me free of charge without the groveling other places will make you do. After my new appointment, when she was figuring out what I owed, she--again, without any groveling or even asking on my part--noticed my wife and I still owed about $30 on cleanings that our insurance hadn't fully covered, wiped those balances out, and then charged me a great price for the fillings. Very friendly, very fast and efficient, and no pain at all. I won't go anywhere else. read more

Excellent staff and dentist!! No issues at all. They were friendly from the start and very knowledgeable. I didn't have to wait weeks to be seen, they went around my schedule and made it work. The hygeniest was very friendly and gave me "tips" at what to do and answered all my questions! They never tried to sell me more than I wanted or needed. I would highly recommend them and I have been to many different companies and dentists in my life and they are to the point, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Precise Dental didn't take my new insurance so I went to another one...They claimed I needed all this work done (currently pushing 50 with no cavities---EVER in my life) I left that place in a hurry rebooked with Dr. Tanner of course nothing wrong with my teeth... I have found my official dentist! This place is great. I hated going to the dentist. I try to avoid as much as possible but this place has put me at ease and I won't hold off with my routine visits any longer. The staff is amazing. The front desk person is super friendly, I liked her a lot. The dentist is great. He really makes time for you. He doesn't just come in the room for a quick exam. He actually stays and answers any questions you may have and is really professional and friendly. The dental hygienist is also great. She was very thorough and gentle and also extremely friendly and professional. This is a new office which means it's super clean and nice and Dr. Tanner...the dentist spared no expense. They have all the latest state of the art equipment....as far as I can tell. I mean they did have equipment that was cool and that I have not seen at any other dentist I have seen. I went in on an emergency basis one time. When I rescheduled they wanted to do xrays that weren't covered. The receptionist said "the state requires them." Now that I have the insurance that will cover the xrays, I tried to get in. I was told they are booked through the end of the year. They have appointments but they are reserved for new patients. I'm one of those people who hate going to the dentist. Ever since I was a kid I had really bad experiences. No one likes being lectured on what they are doing wrong but I got tired of the constant nagging about my teeth. The last time I went to the dentist to get a cleaning was about 4 years ago and I was driven away because the dentist was so rude about me having less molars than other's (they just never came in) and stated that I had 4 cavities. I finally decided to go back to the dentist and try someone else. I can honestly say that going to Precise Dental was a really great decision that has changed my view about dentists. Dr. Tanner and his team were so nice. They understood that I was just missing molars and just moved on. They preformed x-rays that were super quick and easy. I also found out that I don't have any cavities and was told that my teeth are looking very healthy. The only thing they had to fix was a filling that my previous dentist messed up. I would recommend Precise Dental to anyone. Even if you don't live near by, it is worth the drive. I look forward to going back in 6 months for a cleaning and I have never felt that way before about going to the dentist. read more
