I just stoped buy Precision Auto Care and I have a part an outer tail light cover that need to be replaced so I went earlier to an auto shop they said 30.00$ but not till tomorrow morning, so I then went to Precision auto care the owner said 250.00 because he needs to take the bumper off which is not true, it's snapping it off plugging the lights into the correct input and all you need is a wrench to do this. I watched on you tube, then I went to another auto shop they said 30.00$ so precision was clearly try to take advantage of a woman thought I was uneducated you don't need to take the bumper off you just need a long tool to pull a bracket off to replace a taillight. cover on a Honda 2017 accord. I paid $1100 for parts and labors for the front and back brakes for an old Porsche Cayman - this is for OEM equivalent parts. To give you a perspective, the Porche dealership was asking over 3K for the same, and EuroAuto in Venice quoted me $2400 (specializes in Porsches). At Precision, I mainly dealt with Sahand through yelp message and he was transparent the entire process, even the pricing info. The place is a bit far from my home, but I felt, heck if I don't have to mortgage my house to do this, I should go and find out. The decision was well worth it. Jasmine at the reception was friendly but knowledgable, and the repair crew seems very efficient and professional. I am coming back here for my future auto needs. The place does all kind of cars not just Porsches (although I saw two porches and Masseratti). I checked-in at 9 AM and was able to pick-it up by 1 PM. My brakes warning light is on, I quoted 5 auto shops and finally chose this one. They did a great job, very professional. They not only replaced my rare brakes, turned off the warning lights(not many can do this, I have a Mini Cooper), and also helped tune my front breaks at no extra charge, the front brakes I replaced at another auto shop, and clearly Precision did far more great than that auto shop. They weren't busy on a weekday and were able to get my car done in 15 minutes. I pulled my car up and was greeted by a mechanic who was friendly and completely honest with me. He told me it had been a really busy morning and that he was pretty backed up. He asked if I would be OK with waiting and assured me it would be less than two hours. I wasn't in a rush so I agreed. I went in to the waiting area and after about 10 minutes I looked out the window and saw that my car was being worked on! I don't know if they called another mechanic in or what. In any case, my oil change was done in no time. Despite being "backed up" I was in and out of there in less than an hour. The gentleman behind the counter (owner?) was very friendly and chatting up the other folks waiting for their cars. The price for a "full service" oil change was totally reasonable as well. Precision auto care use to be a great place to get a through oil change. But today I went back to get my wife's vehicle a oil change and I think this business has changed ownership. As I was waiting for the oil change I was in the waiting area I smelt cigarette smoke... (disgusting!!! Having to breathe that crap) In case your business doesn't know California Law.. you cannot smoke within 20 feet of a business entrance. I'm sorry but I cannot do business with ones who run a business this way!! I don't feel like catching cancer from breathing cigarette smoke from one of the part owners( Haraut G). Guys sitting inside the mechanic bays smoking a cigarette while the air is blowing into the customer waiting area. Not to mention the girl behind the front counter was occupied by the spacex lift off from the night before but needs to focus on customer service!! If she's so amazed with spacex's accomplishment maybe she should rethink her occupation. If I were you I'd rethink doing business with this establishment. read more

I decided to inspect a car prior to buying it from a nearby car dealership. They did such a thorough job that we decided to buy them sodas after we got back from lunch. However, when we got to the engine compression test things got dirty. The reading on the first gauge used was too low, but accurate. We decided to use a second gauge, for a second opinion. The reading on the second gauge used was as high as in a new engine's compression. I decided not to buy the car. They lose two stars for messing up the end game. read more
