I was having an issue with my car, I filled out the form on yelp where you you request a quote and several people wrote back. This company was the first and also the first to give me definite information regarding how much it would cost to have them look at the car. They were very easy to communicate with through the app and I went in. I told him everything I thought might be wrong with my car they said they would drive it to see if they could figure it out. I even mentioned that they should go up a larger hill that is farther away from the shop but that it might replicate the problem so they did and they couldn't replicate the problem. They even had two different people drive the car just in case. They very easily could have made up a problem and suggested fixing it but they were very honest. I decided to go with one small service that my oil change place had mentioned I should probably consider and that I thought could be related to the issue I was having. And I drove away a satisfied customer with a car that is functioning well. Should the issue return, or also just for check ups since my car is getting close to 10 years old, I will return here. read more

The Climate Control Panel on my Fiat 500 went dead. Wasn't sure if the panel needed to be replaced -new control panels are not available- but a used panel was only 25 dollars online so I provided the panel and agreed to have them. replace the panel to see if that was the issue. It turned out that the problem was related to the fuse box: not a fuse but the entire box which was an expensive fix so as a work around they added an inline fuse. Instead of getting a call from the technician while they were doing the work the receptionist did all the communication. They were friendly and they did get the job done. Price was on the high side: originally quoted $200 to replace the panel but paid $500 for the services they performed. Everything in the South Bay is overpriced these days: not surprised to be charged $500 for what was probably 3 1/2 or 4 hours worth of work. read more

I rarely give reviews on Yelp as I only use the app to read reviews on businesses I'm interested in. But this time, I am compelled to write one for Precision Auto Care. I heard a grinding noise when I apply my brakes. Turns out, my rear brake pads were grinding metal to metal with the rotors. I came in to get a brake service and Gabriel explained what happened and did the job. The building is clean and there's a waiting area. They have really great customer service. After the service, Gabriel explained what I can do moving forward so I don't have to end up in the same situation...I was driving dangerously! I will definitely get my front brake pads checked here before they become nonexistent! They're awesome, do their job well and offer such a great quote on brake services compared to other auto shops in South Bay. I made a request for estimates to replace the timing belt on my 2011 Honda Pilot. Sam from Precision Auto Care responded quickly and provided a firm quote, which was the 2nd lowest. I made the appointment for a Saturday morning, nervous that it may not get completed and they would need to keep the vehicle until Monday. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call by 12:30 saying they were finished. My review continues regarding my daughter Amber's FJ Cruiser, as I was able to have AAA tow it to Precision auto repair shop. Lawndale is a bit out of the way for me, but I have the feeling it's going to be worth the few extra miles. The last shop "Palos Verdes " auto body I took the FJ, I was given a two week time line that turned into nine months and had to take it away from them in worse condition and missing new oem body parts I had supplied. I usually work on my car depending on if I have time or how difficult the job is. I recently had a high pressure power steering hose blow on my 2010 Audi S5. I ordered the part online and was planning on replacing it myself, but I didn't have the time. I called my friend that does mechanic work. He was busy, so I figured I'd look up spots in my area. I found Precision Auto Care they are local and have very good reviews. I called and the receptionist answered and gave me all the details and price for the labor only since I already had the part. She was very nice and informative. When I got there they took in my car and started to work on it right away. The owner was there and asked me about my car and we continued to have a conversation. I requested a quote online and they got back to me rather quickly. After speaking to several other places this place seemed best fit. I made an appointment via yelp and took my SUV in the following day. When I got their the manager was awaiting my arrival. It felt great to be taken such great care of! I requested that they check a few different things such as replacement of an oxygen sensor, servicing my air bag, and replenishing my fluids. The charges were EXACTLY what was quoted to me via yelp. They were very nice. The only reason why I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because of these reasons: 1. When I got back in my truck the temperature began increasing. I know that I needed coolant. So apparently, they did not fill them up. 2. A mechanic tried to provide customer service upon walking up to the office. I told him I had an appointment and he said "he doesn't know how long the wait would be" which was slightly discouraging. BUT IN THEIR DEFENSE, when I spoke to the manager he pulled me right in. Just please tell the mechanics to leave the customer service up to your lovely desk receptionist. She is a breath of fresh air in such a male dominated market. Besides that I will definitely be back! It was entirely too easy... Did I mention that they DO NOT SERVICE AIRBAGS BUT they managed to fix the alert because it was somehow connected to the sensor which saved me $200.00 EASY.... I spoke with Sam via messenger on the yelp, which is very convenient. He was able to answer all my questions as this is my first electric car and wasn't sure about replacing the brake pads. I did make an account to share my great experience here and tell everyone DO NOT GO TO DEALERS!!!! I went there initially to do the repairs that Porsche dealer was recommending them (almost 3k). I spoke to Jazmin about the situation and repairs that I needed to get done and she advised based on their previous experiences with dealer recommendation, it's better to run another diagnostic on the car to make sure those repairs are necessary and she told me since I'm taking the car there for repair diagnostic fee will get waived ( $350 was what dealer charged me to diagnose my issue, and precision did it for FREE!). Also need to mention they prices are way cheaper than dealership and Jazmin mentioned all the parts will be OEM with same warranty. After they did the diagnostic they came up with different repair that was not even on dealer long list, and they told me that will fix my issue, and even they send me pictures and video to show it to me. So I approved it and problem is gone completely. I don't see any reason why I need to go to dealer anymore. Precision will be my shop, Thank you! read more
