I took my vehicle to Charles,…read morebut before leaving it I specifically asked him if he could do the repairs on my car being that I was having a hard time finding someone local who knew how to work on my specific vehicle. He told me he was the only one is town who worked on my type of vehicle. Turns out that was a lie and he actually new someone locally who specialized in European vehicles. So, after having my car for 3 weeks, (on a friday) I got my car back. I instantly noticed my cars issue was not resolved so I called him and we agreed I would take it back to him that following Monday. I dropped it off as agreed upon and waited 4 more weeks to get my car back again. This after me calling him multiple times because he would never update me, even though he always said he would have it back to me within a the week. He finally called me on a Thursday saying it was good to go. I asked if it was done right this time and of course he assured me that it was. I went out of town that Friday morning for the weekend, but had to come back the next day because my car was leaking and spraying oil as I drove it, along with an intense burnt smell. My car was 10 times worse than when I first took it to him. I immediately called him that Monday morning and he asked me to take it back to him. Even longer story short, after 5 months (from the start) I finally had to call him and ask for my car back and for my money back as he did NOT fix my car, instead he made it worse! He completely insulted me, yelled at me and called me every name in the book. He even went as far as to say it was not his fault, that my "stupid car won't take the part I'm putting on it".  A part I later found out he was trying to jimmy rig to avoid replacing the entire part needed, because he did not know how to do it!  Again, after calling me every name in the book, he refused to let me speak and hung up on me. I called him back and he would not answer. Once he finally did, I asked him to have my car ready outside and I'd be there in a few minutes to get. He refused to give me any money back and NEVER fixed my car. I had to take it elsewhere (to the place he knew specialized in my vehicle type) and pay much more to get the job done right! European Auto was great! I highly recommend them if you have a European made vehicle! In between all the time Charles had my car, I had to call twice a week for an update because he would never call me with updates. He always said he would, but never did. I also was told many times by Grant, his employee, that my car was "up in the air as we speak".  However, every time I drove by, my car was parked in his lot with multiple vehicles behind mine and filthy dirty. Which you could tell my car was just parked and never being worked on. I also constantly got the, "part is on order, but will be here in 2 days". After 4 days I'd call and guess what, the part was still on order. I would not recommend anyone, especially a female to take their vehicle here. After my experience with him, I heard from others that he treats women like crap and also claims to not know someone if they mention their negative experiencewith him! Something I wish I would have known beforehand. Charles is such a jerk, a lier and a thief and takes no responsibility for his actions. And Grant lie for him too. Not one cent was returned to me and the work needed was not done! On the contrary, he returned my car in worse condition than he got it. Not only that, but my vehicle was also scratched up around the car and my rims have damage as well. This has been by far the worse customer service I've ever encountered. This business was suggested from my neighborhood from nextdoor(.com) as my vehicle was leaking fluids. Drove my car there, explained what was wrong (the people who were changing my oil notify me the damage and inform me to get it fix right away), and it took about a month to fix (brought my car in a few days before Christmas so they didn't get it fix until January). They found the problem, replaced/fixed the parts, and gave us a reasonable price (around $400). They were pretty honest, quite cheery, and explained how it was fixed and why it was damaged (parts were old so they replace it with new ones). Husband and I were happy with their work that went back to them later to get our truck fixed. The prices they gave us so far is something you can't beat and we never encountered anymore problems again after they fix it which is nice! What's a plus for my husband and I is that if they see something steal able in your vehicle, they actually take it and put it in a safe place in their office (apparently the radio in one of our vehicles can pop off and they kept it safe until we retrieve our car which was nice of them to do; we weren't aware that it even came off!). I'll admit, it is difficult to get a hold of them over the phone to know what's happening to your vehicle. There are moments they are rude but other times; they been pretty nice as long your polite and reasonable on why you called. Just don't call everyday. You'll be annoyed too if someone called you nonstop. What I do find a pain is that it's difficult to find a place to park where they are located. It can be a bit of a walk depending what time you arrived as there are many private parking spots you cannot park at so be sure to watch out for the signs to prevent getting towed/getting a ticket. One more thing to add before I forget is that their office is pretty dusty and oily which shouldn't be a surprise considering what kind of business they are so if your expecting a fancy, clean place. You better shoo those thoughts away. Usually, I'm picky on how clean the place is but seeing how well they taken care of our vehicles makes up for it so I have no complaints here!

The staff was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was bothering them just for being there. No professionalism at all just straight attitude right from the start. Then it got even worse. They refused to work on my car and wouldn't give me a clear reason why. Instead, they told me the part I needed wasn't available, which I later found out wasn't even true. It felt like they were just making excuses and didn't want to deal with it. The whole situation started to feel really shady. I kept getting the runaround, and at one point it honestly felt like they were trying to keep my registration or make things more difficult than they should've been. That's not just bad customer service that's completely out of line. I wouldn't trust this place with my car at all. If you care about your time, your money, and being treated with basic respect, go somewhere else.

Don't go to this shop, I went here for a problem with my bmw with oil in the coolant system. Shoulda done my research at the time but I trusted them an went with it cause I figured something bad happened. 3 months later I get my car back and same problem turns up 3 weeks later, oil in the coolant system again. Scratching my head, I began to do some research an turns out it happened to just be a 14$ gasket (oil filter housing gasket). I then replace the gasket a long behold, the problem goes away. Moral of the story, don't trust shops like these an do ur research. My mistake I guess.
