We've had many water leaks over the years, the roofing company that did it 10 years ago did not do a number of things correctly and are now out of business so we really wanted to get it right this time. I've had several roofers do work for us in the past and they all talk a good game initially but are generally okay to sketchy at best when it comes to getting the work done. Christian Roofing sets a new standard of Excellence in my opinion. From Johnny the estimator who is super friendly, professional and so knowledgeable he helped guide us into the proper roof that will not leak even if there's some ponding. The front office was spot on with Billing incrementally at the correct times and always there for any questions. Finally the crew including Juan Valdez, Alfonso, and their team were as professional and courteous as they come. They showed up every day at exactly the time scheduled and worked through extreme heat and humidity always keeping a positive can do attitude. They offered to cover things inside the house as needed and at the end of every day I received an email explaining exactly what they did that day with before and after pictures. Who does this? They even put a porta potty by the house so they didn't need to use our restrooms and the crew could remain on site for their lunches again next level. There was also some complex coordination with the patio company that would be building a patio and attaching to the edge of the new roof and they handled it flawlessly. I also threw a few curve balls at them during the project including having an old solar tube replaced and some damaged flashing outside of the work area repaired and again the response was no problem, the change order was written and it was done. While they noted wood replacement, they could not provide comprehensive photo documentation to justify charging for extensive plywood, fascia, shiplap, and rafter board. For context, they billed for replacing 294 linear feet of fascia board, whereas subsequent measurements and estimates from two professional painting companies confirmed the home's total fascia is only around 250 linear feet. Communication and safety were major issues throughout. When I pointed out during the final walkthrough that nails were scattered all over the yard, the representative claimed he had already used a magnetic sweep. Just one month later, my tenant borrowed a magnet and collected a box of hazardous nails--including dangerous push-pin style nails left pointing upward. While they did pull the required permits before starting and fixed missing edge-tile nails promptly, the lack of transparency on unexpected wood replacement costs and leaving sharp, dangerous construction debris in a tenant's yard makes this a 1-star experience.

It is how the system works and it can't and won't be changed. 2. the fan runs ALL day. It might stop for a short bit but basically it runs continually during the warm part of the day. 3. I am happy to report it is quiet at night. When I shared my experience and concerns with E Z, I was pretty much ghosted except by Max. Dealing with EP Cube support has been great. But it is what it is. AND finally, don't let them talk you out of Solar Insure - the company that will insure you system.
