Really clean job by an experienced worker. Mark installed lights outside our garage door that go on automatically when it's dark. We originally wanted to hook up lights to a motion sensor above the garage door but he recommended against drilling through a support beam and the extra hardware needed. Other electricians either had elaborate plans or way higher estimates. The LCD setup we have is very power efficient and probably the better solution anyways. Highly recommended! read more

Mark is excellent; in additional to finding the problem of hall way lights not working that required many sockets juice checks searches which is a solid foundation for issues and can save lots of dollars vs a wall tear out or other not needed work was impressive and sure enough he found just one wire in a circuit causing the problem , repaired and fixed: hall lights, bathroom fan, door bell fixed which was a journey because transformer was underneath the house- really what was builder thinking, scones replaced. My insurance required me to swap out a fused spa disconnect w/ a GFI circuit. Couldn't be happier with experience. Called Mark and left a voice mail, and was called back almost immediately. He first spent about 10 minutes on the phone having me check things to see if the issue could be resolved over the phone. To 'save me some money' Mark said. When I posted my initial review on Yelp my phone immediately blew up and this guy tried to make a boatload of excuses. He was relentless! Would not stop calling and insisted I remove my review. He used the excuse he posted as I must've had the wrong business until I sent him a screen shot of our call lasting 3 minutes ( when I set up the appt he failed to show up for ) then he proceeded to say I was going to cost him business with this review and I told him he should've thought of that before he didn't bother to show and wasted hours of my time. This was a common utterance by my husband and me when, after deciding to revamp the garage of a 1960's Fremont house we just bought, we found the usual revelation of poor DIY, ungrounded, uncoded, sloppy and dangerous wiring hidden behind the cabinetry. Exceptional and impressive. Started out on Yelp looking for an electrician to help with a perplexing electrical issue. GFCI kept tripping and was shutting down electrical in various rooms. I was given 4 different companies to communicate with. All were responsive to come for an estimate at $175.00 but, Precision was the only one who offered to try to troubleshoot over the phone. I arranged a time and was able to speak directly with Mark who was attentive and patient. He was able to immediately determine the culprit of the problem which were fountain pumps leaching water into the circuit. Although that had remedied the initial issue, there was a bigger problem that arose. We called back again and arranged for Mark to come out. Once again Mark found the solution immediately and made the repair. His charge was unbelievably low at the cost of an estimate, compared to all of his preliminary effort, time and work. Yay! My ceiling fan works again! Contacted Mark by email when I needed a new remote control installed for my ceiling fan. He replied promptly and made an appointment within a day. He arrived on time and quickly went about the installation. He immediately saw that the ceiling fan had not been properly installed initially. Therefore he needed to correct the fan's support before installing the new remote transmitter--so it wouldn't fall on me while in use! Everything was fixed and installed within an hour. I was charged exactly what he estimated with an additional $5 for parts he used to correct the support.
