The ages of the children ranged from 3-6 years old. She even made rude comments to the children & had them cleaning up the party room on their own, rather than her going around and cleaning up. She also was not very sanitary and wiped her face with gloves on before she cut the cake. She clearly was also never shown how to cut a cake before this disaster. She was cutting pieces, plopping it into her hand & then palming it onto a plate. She also told my child to stop crying or he wouldn't get a goodie bag. Prior to this party room experience, she kept walking around basically in circles in the lanes where kids and parents were mingling. She didn't give any privacy for the party and kept squeezing in between people talking. Who hired this girl without proper training? She had no common courtesy or respect. The child's mother of the party did complain to management.

Some look like pretty good deals if you're with a group. But... $50 for an hour of bowling on a Saturday afternoon?!?!? AND... when the time limit is up in the 7th frame, the alley just shuts off?!?!? Two of us bowled two games and then completed 1/2 of the seventh frame in game three. So, between us, we didn't bowl six games. If we *had* finished our last game, it would cost over $8 a game! That's outrageous! To cut off the alley mid-game (mid-7th frame) is insulting to the costumer. That said, Holiday Bowl was a hopping place with groups, families, beginners, and regulars. Food looked really good. Great selection of beers. Full bar. Waitress service. Will need to go during a promotion, though, to not feel ripped off.

I was shocked at the pricing ($50 a lane per hour on a weeknight) and promptly at (the end of your hour) 8 pm they cut you off, even if you didn't finish your game. This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had anywhere…read more The service was a complete mess from the start--slow, disorganized, and staffed by people who clearly didn't care. We were left standing around waiting to be helped while employees ignored us, and when someone finally showed up, they acted like we were a burden for simply wanting to bowl. The manager was unbelievably awful. Rude, dismissive, and outright hostile. When our lane kept malfunctioning (which happened multiple times), we asked for help and got nothing but attitude. No apology, no urgency--just pure indifference and annoyance, like fixing their own broken equipment was too much to ask. And then there was the bar situation, which somehow made everything even worse. I'm 25 years old, and they made THREE different people come over and check my ID before I could get a drink. It was completely excessive and honestly embarrassing. I get checking ID, but this was ridiculous and felt like they were going out of their way to make it difficult. On top of all that, the place was poorly maintained, the lanes kept breaking down, and the whole environment just felt unwelcoming and chaotic. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else. This place clearly doesn't care about its customers, and it shows in every possible way.

Came to Pinstripes in Paramus this past weekend for a friend's birthday brunch buffet which was a…read moresurprisingly stylish spot with a lively atmosphere. Food: For a buffet, the food was decent and fairly priced. The chicken and waffles and smoked salmon were definite standouts -- flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. There was a good variety overall without feeling overwhelming. Service: Service was a bit slow at times, but with the size of our party and the busy environment, it was understandable. Everyone we interacted with was super kind, and the staff managed the controlled chaos with patience and a smile. Aesthetic: It's a really pretty venue for a buffet, with a unique layout that spreads the stations across different section: carving station, hot food, cold dishes, and desserts all had their own areas. The space feels elevated but still casual enough for a big group celebration.

High quality shrimp cocktail, wonderful smoked salmon, breakfast pizza that melted in my mouth, sautéed Brussel sprouts that were so good... I can go on and on! Oh yes and the sliced prime rib and ham were great! Also really enjoyed the herbed biscuits. Mini freshly made buttermilk waffles were one of my faves with lightly fried chicken breast chunks with maple syrup on the side was divine!! And the chocolate fountain to dip freshly made warm choc chip cookies, rice Krispy treats, and ghiardelli double choc brownies - absolute heaven. I can't wait to go back!

THE NOT SO GOOD ----------------------------- - As expected, it's very loud inside with all of the arcade games, so don't expect to be able to have much of a conversation with people. MIXED THOUGHTS ---------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = We came for a birthday party at 3 PM on a June Saturday and it was busy inside, but not overly crowded. The batting cages were occupied, but, once again, not overly so. The bowling alley was pretty much empty, except when our group was in there for 30 minutes.

The food is alight. This is a place that get pretty packed. My experience there was a unique one. I got a game card and loaded it up with $30 to use to play in the arcade. However most of the games weren't working. There were games that looked to be worked but it turns out they weren't. So basically any money I had on my card got eaten up and when I went to customer service they claimed to put it back but when I checked the balance it wasn't true. Perhaps it was the card but it was just a terrible experience. A lot of the people working seemed very inexperienced.
