    My new hickory floor !

We used Ricks flooring for our beautiful new hickory flooring! From day one thru finish he and Cody did a phenomenal job! We would highly recommend him and Cody the installer is wonderful and very much a perfectionist! Thank you both!

Brand new 25 year floors... cracked within 6 months.

We paid a premium to support a local business and work with Precision. This was a mistake. The owners Rick and Marcus refuse to take any responsibility if something goes wrong on your project. We paid $30K (1400 sq ft of engineered hardwood), and dozens of planks cracked end-to-end within 6 months of install. We tried every diplomatic route to resolve this, with no luck. Unfortunately, posting a negative review on the internet is a last resort. The least we can do is save you from the frustration (and cost) of working with them.

    New nosing

My husband and I did a large addition on our home in Tahoe City last year. We wanted to give our business to someone local rather than going to the big box stores in Reno. We found Precision floors through yelp. From our first time in the store, they were welcoming and professional. We took home samples and placed our order. They weren't the cheapest option but I'm so glad we choose them. They were patient with us with install dates because we were running way behind schedule. Install day came and we had a slight issue with the nosing color not matching the stairs. We reached out and they worked with us to try and find a match to our liking. Things moved slow but Marcus kept us updated on the process of replacing the nosings. Cody the installer was nice and professional. I cannot express my gratitude on the way they handled the correction. We will definitely be a repeat customer when the time comes to replace the rest of the house.

We shopped a couple places, but when we saw a reclaimed oak floor sample in JD's shop, we were hooked. He referred us to a local place that has had it in their gallery for years - high traffic, right off the street, and it looked amazing there too. We decided to replace the carpet and tile in our entire downstairs (1300sf). This meant demolishing tile in the kitchen, plus ripping out carpet in all the other rooms. We also planned a kitchen remodel for the summer (its all gone pretty well and we're still happily married). JD worked with us on scheduling around the kitchen demolition, cabinet install and we planned a little vacation when he was going to be making a lot of saw dust in the house. We came back from vacation to the most gorgeous floors and a surprisingly clean house (they masked off the upstairs and did a good job cleaning up after themselves). We can't get over how amazing the floors look. It has transformed the look of our house. JD Hoss' service was perfect - on time, on schedule (despite us making small changes) and on budget. Thanks JD for making me happy about keeping my business local.

Cindy worked with us to provided a straightforward, transparent, and competitive quote. From estimate to installation everything was seamless. As new homeowners undertaking a project such as this was stressful, but Premier and the install team did everything in their power to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of every step of the way. I want to give a special shoutout to Jamie, Jason and their boss Avary who took charge on our floor install. They are skilled, hard workers, with genuinely great attitudes. They were respectful of our home, answered all of our questions, and went above and beyond (such as installing new baseboard in our bathroom even though that was not part of the job.) I would 1000% use them again and will specifically request them when we move forward on recarpeting our bedrooms. I encourage anyone who is looking for new floors to check out Premier, and if you're lucky you'll get Avary, Jamie and Jason on your job.

I offered to pay extra labor to make sure it was done right. They dumped a couple bags of leveling compound in 1 day and set the floor. The cabinet guys later pointed out the floor was still out of level and I have dips here and there where there should have been more compound. I called Craig back to the house to look at it and he said there nothing they can do. That was their best work. Well I'm here to tell you they charged me over 4k for this and now I'm stuck with it, I hate it and if I could rip my floor out and dump it in their F*CKING lobby I would. I saved for YEARS for this project and they ruined it, I can't do it again. I'm screwed. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

Our floors turned out great, but it was kind of a mixed bag of an experience…read more THE GOOD: The flooring selection process: Cory was friendly and helpful and I got what I needed at the show room in under 30 mins. The measure: the turnaround time between my show room visit and the in-home measure was extremely fast. Jason also sent us the quote really quickly. The installation: we got both carpet and hard flooring. Brian (hard floors) gets a 5 star. Work quality was amazing, and he meticulously cleaned up after himself every day so there wasn't a speckle of dust left behind the whole time he was here. He got the work done faster than anticipated and instead of cutting out early every day, he just kept going. Steve (carpet) was also great. He found a defect in our carpet and could've taken the easy route and installed it without saying anything, but he made sure we knew about it and had a say in the matter. Once the new carpet arrived, he got the work done really quickly. THE NOT-SO-GOOD: The scheduling: we were scheduled for demolition the day after thanksgiving but had a no-call no-show. We couldn't get that resolved for a few days because they were closed longer than usual due to the holiday. It would've helped if someone called to confirm the appointment before everyone went out of office. No explanation was given, so no idea what happened. The demolition: Jason rescheduled the demo asap, but the crew didn't vacuum or do any meaningful cleanup. In fact, the installers were surprised at the mess they left behind. Also, we were supposed to paint our floors with Kilz in between the demo and installation but the demo guys already put down carpet tacks, so we had to spend time removing those ourselves so that we can paint. There were lots of loose nails and debris on the floor from the demo so it was not an easy job. The lack of attention to details caused some non-value-add work for everyone. The flooring: it doesn't seem like Full Circle does a QA check on their materials before sending it out to the work site. We were surprised that no one caught the defect in our carpet until Steve was about to install it. This caused a delay in our timeline, which is a pretty big inconvenience when you have to temporarily vacate your home to accommodate the demo/installation. We had other contractors lined up, which also had to be rescheduled. Also, the spare nosing they ordered for Brian was broken. Thankfully, he was meticulous enough that he didn't need them, but there was no margin for error. Imagine the added delay if that wasn't the case... In the end, our floors did end up looking really great so Full Circle gets a 4 star. The hassle we experienced might cause us to consider other contractors in the future, though.
