Our garage door went on the fritz on a Sunday morning and Precision had provided service in the past, and left a sticker with their number on the opener. I called them at around noon and they set an appointment for between 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Within 15 minutes of my initial contact, the repair person, Mathew who was scheduled, called and said he was 25 minutes away, and would come early if that was acceptable. I assured him it was. He came and examined my garage door and opener and determined that I needed new springs, and that old, worn springs caused my opener to fail. I just had a gate installed and now needed a motor installed. We consulted with a few different companies. We had Jake come out to provide an estimate. He was very kind and even let us know our gate was not installed correctly and he will include the fix in the proposal. Ralph was the one who installed the door. He was on time, very friendly, professional, and did a great job, installing it and giving us instructions on how to operate everything. We had our garage door hardware pull out of the board that it was anchored to on one side (original, as built in 1978), and sat cocked to the right and open slightly. We have a full-to-the brim garage, and I thought they'd have to destroy the existing door to remove it, since there was no access to the other side of the door. The technician who came out was on time for our appointment. He also called ahead just to let me know he was on his way. My garage door was beeping at me constantly it turns out it was the battery backup system. Technician changed the batteries right then and there and no more beeping! I had called A Garage Door and Gate Store out for an estimate because I was told by another company that my garage door operator needed to be fully replaced. When he arrived he looked at the operator and in fact it did not need to be fully replaced, a part just did.
