We have dealt with Precision Heat and Air for over 20 years. We have always had exceptional service! Our most recent experience was no different. We called on Wednesday for a service call and they were able to come the next day. It was determined, unfortunately, that we needed to replace one of our two units due to it was no longer serviceable due to the "new" equipment being mandated for replacement. We decided to replace both units, as they are 13 years old. They were able to order the necessary units and parts and come out on Monday and today to remove and install the units. Albert and Daniel did a great job. They were quite the team. Very organized and clean. They got us up and running with the new units on Monday and came back today to finish the final install. We couldn't be happier. We just received a follow up call from them to thank us for our business. So refreshing to experience this terrific service! We would highly recommend Precision Heat and Air! WARING!! Do not book this company ! They have the worst customer service ever. My air went out on me and my realtor booked with this company and I was thrilled to get an appointment the very next day. At 8 o'clock at night after hours they text me changing the time which was not convenient for me so the receptionist took it upon herself to cancel my appointment without letting me know after I ask to speck with her supervisor. She mentioned to me to contact my realtor company to schedule with another company, and I told her no they're closed for the weekend I wouldn't be able to get hold of them . My place was over 90 degrees which is unhealthy for anyone in this heat I could've had a child an elderly person living with me bad bad bad customer service! I text her that morning and ask when will they be calling me because she said they would give me a 30 minute heads up. Then she text me back and said contact your Reality company they will redirect another company to come out! I was so upset how can they treat there customers like this in this weather ! I've used Precision several times at a few places in the Coachella valley. We've always had a great experience with both the office and the field staff. We had a problem at one of our properties last week and called in before hours and left a message. In the mean time, we called a 24 hour HVAC company and they got back to us very quickly so we scheduled an appointment later that day as it was typically hot so timeliness was important. The other company told us the motor was blown on the furnace, they could no longer get parts for old Lennox furnaces and we needed a new furnace and new ducting. They estimated a $13,000 bill. We called Precision back to have a look and they came on the weekend and did not surcharge us. During the visit, they got the system back up and running in less than 30 min by replacing a blown relay. They are trustworthy, professional and competent. While there likely is truth to parts being hard to source for the old furnace and there may be some deterioration to the original ducting, we now have the opportunity to decide when to make the upgrade and Precision has repeatedly earned the opportunity to make that change. read more

If you live in the desert you need an honest and responsive company to regularly maintain your air conditioner and also be ready to come over on that 110 degree day when your unit dies. Precision is HONEST beyond question. My first dealing with them about 6 years ago was as a second opinion to a $ 1,500+ estimate from a company that advertises on TV all the time. Precision replaced a $ 36 part and the whole bill was less than $ 200. When you're boiling in your house you'll pay just about anything for cold air - Precision has NEVER taken advantage of me. If your home warranty assigns this company-just say NO! While they are nice on the phone-when they answer, they are very under staffed and don't seem to know what they are doing. We were without air for over 2 weeks, largely to their mistakes. We finally ended up taking a cash out from the Warranty company to get the job done. Woke to a really cold house today (it was 40 deg. last night) and the faint smell of gas. Coffee didn't help. It was definitely the heater. I recalled that a neighbor mentioned her satisfaction with the service she received from ~ someplace. More importantly, I recalled that I wrote it down at the time. A mere two hours later, my auxiliary limit switch was replaced with a free filter to boot. What would you expect to pay for such speedy and reputable service? You know pricing is never discussed on Yelp. Last week, Wednesday my AC unit went out. So I called Fidelity Warranty to make a claim. I get the name and # to Precision Heat and AC. They don't call that day, so I called them... get an apptmt set for 5 days later. Monday, he comes and diagnoses a leak in 2 spots. He is backlogged for two weeks, so he can't fix it. He says he is going to call the warranty company explaining what's wrong with unit. If he knew he had a two week backlog, then why didn't he tell that on Wednesday... he didn't put in details of an explanation either to the warranty company. This means, I have to explain to each new AC company. Bottom line is that I still have no repair on my AC unit, and will probably be out for two more weeks to get it replaced. read more

Just bought a house & there were some weird things with our hvac system. Saw these guys' sticker on one of the pieces & called. They were able to come out the next day, and did a full service on my ac/gas furnace unit & my heat pump. Nice guy, didn't mind our big bouncy barky dogs, and explained everything to me (how/when to change filters, etc.). Figured out what the problems were with our system & didn't try to sell me on fixing it, but said that our home-buyers insurance should cover it (which it will - yay!) read more

My home warranty company wanted to use them to service our unit and they never even bothered to respond despite leaving several messages.

Very poor quality work. One week after replacing our compressor and condenser, our AC stopped working. Called to have them come out and fix it. But it was 5:30 on a Friday evening and no one was available to come out until Monday. Meanwhile it was 95 outside and 85 in our house. I called another company. That other company came out in 45 minutes and found that when Precision installed the new parts, they had not tightened the wire connections. Very sloppy work. read more

Had an absolutely amazing experience with these guys! I have an AHS Home policy that brought them to us to repair our 30 year old Master Cool Evap Cooler. Precision was the third company that AHS sent out and we were very skeptical to say the least. Well, let me tell you; they arrived on time, condemned our unit and requested permission to replace it. Sure enough, they did everything they said and more! Then they came and did the same for our second unit. We received reminder calls from the office, the guys arrived on time, they were polite and professional and the workmanship was excellent. What more can you ask from a company. They kept my tenant waiting for a day until they called me to tell me that they will not go to my place.
