I initially reached out to them for a routine maintenance on my 3 ton Carrier unit as well as my split unit in the garage. Their reviews as well as overall ratings were what attracted me to use them as well as their experience with split units. My call was answered right away & I was able to get an appointment the next day. That went very smoothly & the technician was very professional & helpful. Unfortunately a while later my Carrier unit's fan motor started making noise. It was Easter weekend, but I called them to see if they could send someone to at least take a look at it. Chris the owner responded to my call & despite being with his family, said he'd be over later that day. When he arrived, he assessed the situation and explained to me that the previous repairs on the ac unit had replaced the fan motor with the wrong size motor for that unit. He took the time to educate me on why the motor was wrong & had resulted in damage to the fan. As a result, both the motor & the damaged fan would need to be replaced. He said he'd work on getting both a new fan and motor for the unit. Unfortunately there were non in stock from the local suppliers as well as LA. We're able to find the right motor & fan at an out of state supplier which was able to ship it UPS 3 day delivery. Parts came a day early, & Chris was there the next day to install both! He again showed me how the new motor & fan were not only the right ones for my unit, but also how it would be more energy efficient as well. Assured recently completed an install on a couple mini splits in my garage to make it usable year-round. Chris understood the project. In a very timely manner He provided a very detailed estimate with his suggestion of equipment and service. His price was competitive. Throughout the process they were communicative and on time, try getting that out of most contractors! since he was in there, I had him also run another 240 v line into the garage for a car charger . All in all Assured provided excellent service. They are a relatively new company and eager to please. One thing I wish they had done was question my placement of the car charger plug. They put it where I asked, but later I realized a better spot. I think amore experienced company might have suggested the obviously better location. Assured Heating & AC installed two HVAC units in my home in June 2022, which cost me $21,000 and was paid in full immediately after the job was completed. You have 90 days to take advantage of the rebate offered by IID and the application requires a paid in full receipt. I made several inquiries to get this receipt from Assured, but by the time it was sent, my rebate application was rejected due to it being submitted past the 90 day deadline. Fast forward to August 2025, the compressor on one of the units blew out due to a power surge according to their diagnosis. I reached back out to Assured since they were the original installers and had to pay an additional $4200 for a new compressor along with a power surge protector. It would have been nice for Assured to have recommended the power surge during the initial installation so I wouldn't have had to spend so much additional money for a new compressor not to mention the rebate money I missed out on from the initial install. The owner as well as the technicians are really nice guys, but I must say as a customer, I feel a bit duped. I spoke to Chris (the owner) and explained my unhappiness and that my living room was warmer than the other rooms and he said this is the first he's hearing about it but wanted to make this right for me. I said I told you about it 2 months after it was installed and again when your techs came out when the compressor went out and no one wants to address it. So he sends the tech here only to determine that I might need an additional return installed. I asked the tech how much that would cost and he said Chris would get back to me. We had a nightmare situation with another clown technician that nearly ruined out very expensive AC unit. Not only did the other technician not know how to fix our AC unit but he cruelly left us in the heat of the day without any AC and demand we pay him -which we did not. We get on the phone and call around and luckily our night and shining armor, Chris, comes to our rescue and works from 9 pm to midnight (even though he had other obligations) and would not leave until all was restored and our AC unit was back on and running like a champ. . Chris and his assistant Joe truly out did them selves! The attention to detail while installing a new AC unit blew my mind. The old unit was more than 35 years old, so the new one didn't fit in seamlessly, you won't know it from looking at it. Chris made custom copper piping to fit, restored the base that was aged, sealed the interior of the box because it hadn't been before and rewired everything to code all while making it pretty. Because the job was much bigger than he originally estimated, he had to return to do the finish work. He went as far as patching the drywall where the out dated thermostat was and plastering the outside of the building where the old fittings were no longer used. I'd give them 10 STARS if I could. When it was time to replace our system and repair our ductwork in La Quinta Chris came out and did a thorough inspection and then designed a system perfectly suited to our needs. This included new duct work and moving the air handler from an outdoor closet to the attic inside the house. He knew we were about to remodel our primary bathroom and closet and doing this would give us much more space. We recently finished the remodel and are so happy Chris thought of that!
