I called with a noise after braking and what I thought was a problem with my brakes. Over the phone I received a few quotes for a full brake job. I called Precision Import and while she gave me a quote she encouraged me to find some time to bring my Infiniti in. I scheduled a date and dropped the key off in the overnight box. Steve gave me a call the next day after lunch with a diagnosis that the hub bearing on the left rear wheel needed repair, but that the brakes were wearing evenly and not in need of replacement yet. I asked the question several times to learn if my brakes would need repair soon, or if I should just get them done now, but Steve assured me that this repair would stop the noise and the car would continue to brake safely for many more miles before I would need to get them replaced. I have worked on cars and I appreciated his expertise and candor. He could have just added an unnecessary repair or charge- but he didn't- thank you Steve and Precision Import problem solved! read more

I sent in a request for a quote based on a recommendation for work from a Toyota dealer. (My engine light was on.) They indicated the issue recommended by the dealership wasn't actually the issue, it was a much smaller issue which cost $1,000 less than quoted by the dealership. Spot on work!!!! I went to two other shops before going to them for a balance and rotation. The first shop messed up my balancing and told me that everything was fine (LIE, aggressive vibration was still in the steering). I went to a second shop to check behind the previous shop's work. They even stated that everything was good (LIE, aggressive vibration was still in the steering). I went to Precision Imports and they pointed out that one of the four tires were balanced. They fixed problem and the vibration went away and recommended a Road Force Balance if I wanted to get a smoother ride. Bottom line they're honest and very knowledgeable in their work. read more

We had a front-end noise coming from one of our cars; I had taken it to several other dealers and mechanics to try and have it resolved. Precision couldn't figure it out either, but it wasn't for a lack of trying. They put multiple mechanics on it and spent three hours with the car to try and figure out what was going on -- and they didn't charge me a dime. "We didn't do anything, so we won't charge you anything," the owner told me. Other shops would have charged an inspection fee and spent half the time and effort to diagnose the problem. Not this place. Reviewers have noted how this is an honest shop run by honest people. I can attest to that. read more

The service performed was once again top notch and very prompt. Shop called every time something unexpected came up, and was upfront about the cost. My Subaru Forester 2019 had a Tie Rod bent and all kinds of steering and eyesight system lights came on. I took the car to a nearby Subaru dealership. They gave me a ridiculous quote. I found Precision on yelp. They fixed the issues as quickly as possible and I ended up paying about one tenth of what the dealership quoted me. I swear I am not kidding. Lesson learned. Chose them based off of reviews for my Audi which was producing loud clicking sounds. Received a quote, decided to go with their recommendation despite being slightly higher than other shops. Work was scheduled easily on a convenient day for me. During my drive home from the shop immediately heard the same sound. The shop failed to fully diagnose my vehicle and looks like drivers side needed attention as well. Shop was closed by the time I got home and problem continued thru the weekend. Their inability to fully diagnose and fix my car is disappointing and I cannot recommend this shop for repair services based on my experience.
