The head work was solid with all new valves and passed a leak down test before installation. The block machine work was superb as the hone was done to tolerance on the piston and ring kit I purchased. Rich tanked and blasted the block for a slight extra charge but worth the money. The jeep is back on the ground and the first 500 miles are in w/o any issues. Lots more power than before the rebuild.

My friend Ruben did the block work, connecting rod work, and engine balancing. Donny ground the crank personally. The Auburn Boy Wayne did the heads. Big valves, ported exhaust, stainless steel valves, dual valve springs, and filled the center exhaust crossover with a melted down forged piston. No more cracked intake manifolds. Forged pistons. Full oil restriction installed lifter galleys and crankshaft mains as well as lifter galley honing. 10 Quart Oil Pan. 292H Comp Cams camshaft, Donny appropriately got to choose the camshaft. Those of you who left a bad review probably have way too much money and nobody to tell them no when need be! I love you Donny to the moon and thank you for building my dream motor with patience and passion. I still have it and it runs like the champion it is. Everybody has got a Chevy Donny!! If you can only afford one motor in a lifetime this is the place to go.

We got to talk directly to the shop foreman Dirk for the hard to find Fox strut misalignment bearing spacers. And what do you know, the calm and knowledgeable foreman breakout caliber to collect measurements and offer various steel grades for our application; grade 8, stainless, etc. not only put us at ease from Kirk voice of experience, but also their lightning fast completion time. Sure, there was minimum hourly charge but Tri Tool saved us from the headache, time wasted for our vehicle sitting days in the shop waiting for Fox parts, and the part came out exact dimensions as the original spacers. Kirk even offered to coat the parts to slow the rust process, what's not to like. The process beginning to end take 1 day and not 4 weeks as promised by Fox. After simple credit card swipe for payment, the needed parts were on their way to the shop to complete our project.
