I'm a 24-year old medical student and decided it was finally time to get my first tailored suit in time for interviews and friends' marriages. Mr. Rezaei was patient, knowledgeable, friendly, and professional through and through. I told him I wanted to start from scratch for my first custom suit and he walked me through the hundreds of options for fabrics, linings, lapels, pant pleats, shirt collars, cuffs, button numbers, and more. He is very detail-oriented and I felt that I had all I needed to make this suit my own. In areas I wasn't sure of a certain style or choice, I felt confident deferring to Mr. Rezaei for the best-looking combinations and what would complement my figure/build. Once I had picked through all the details and options, my measurements were taken swiftly at the initial appointment. I told Mr. Rezaei I was under no time crunch or any rush to get this suit done. Nonetheless, less than a month later, the shirt, jacket, and pants were ready for the second-fitting. I had lost some weight in that time period and Mr. Rezaei quickly made a note for a small alteration to the waistband for the pants; everything was ready for pickup less than two weeks later. I bought an expensive men's leather jacket from a high-end national retailer in the Sacramento region whose tailors said the sleeves couldn't be shortened without a significant and negative impact on the final appearance. I bought it anyway since it could be returned if not altered. I checked out Fit and Match's reputation and took it to them for their input. Bottom line, Hafiz said it could be done, and looking at the work he had in his shop, I took the chance. When I picked up the jacket, the quality of the alteration was everything I had hoped for. First, some background...it was 6:00pm on the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, and I had my engagement photo shoot on Tuesday, when I realized that I seriously needed to get my suit pants altered. Even though they were set to close in less than an hour, owner Hafiz reassured me that I could bring my pants in and they could get my alterations done even though I needed my pants in two days with one of those days being a holiday. Hafiz was a lifesaver. Not only was Hafiz a lifesaver, but he really does look out for his clients to make them look good. I went into the store thinking that I was just going to get the bottom of my pants tapered a little bit for a skinnier fit. As I was trying my pants on in the fitting room, I felt that the top half of the pants could be altered a little bit to hug my butt a little bit better. But I decided against asking for those alterations because I didn't think there would be enough time and the pants fit fine enough and nobody would notice. Once I stepped out of the dressing room and got the length worked out, Hafiz didn't skip a beat and also started pinning the top half of my pants anyway. Hafiz pays attention and you can count on him to know what to do to make your clothes fit you nicely. Hafiz does excellent work. My pants were altered to fit me perfectly, despite the little time I gave him. In fact, I brought in my favorite pair of suit pants during my fitting for Hafiz to have as a reference, but he never needed them. And when I left Fit & Match, I left with a new pair of favorite suit pants. I didn't think this would happen. I was taking a chance on Hafiz and Fit & Match, since their Yelp page didn't have that many reviews. I only went with them because they were literally my only option at the time since every place was closed and even my usual tailor, whose personal number I have, was out of town. Hafiz exceeded my expectations by a mile. In fact, I'm not sure I'll be going to anyone else anymore. A few other notes -- Fit & Match is in a bit of a random location, but an easy drive to get to. It's not too far from Hwy 80. There is plenty of parking in the lot where the store is located. The store is very clean! Most tailors I have been to have stores that seem somewhat...chaotic...to say the least. That is not the case here. The dressing rooms in Fit & Match are nicely done and seem less janky than that of other alterations places I've been to (albeit...still cramped!). Fit & Match also accepts credit cards. The pricing is AMAZING. My pants alterations only cost me a little more than $40, including tip, and seemed like a bargain for me considering the turnaround time. So if you're looking to get your pants altered and you are wondering about this place, give Hafiz a try. I don't think you'll regret it, and I'll certainly be referring my friends here. read more

The only reason I came to him was because of his high ratings and I'm genuinely confused why. I brought him two dresses and asked for ver minor work to be done. For one to be let out just one inch around the chest area and for on the be cinched one inch. For this very small alteration he charges me $90. I didn't have time to try them on so I took them and went to the party I left town for. The day of the party I tired on the dress to find out it had a stain on it and he didn't do anything I asked. So I put on the second dress to see that he made it so tight it had to be let out. I wouldn't return because I know I can get it's one the way I want for half the price. Disappointed. read more

AWESOME TAILOR! Hafiz exceeded all my expectations! I brought him an unusual repair, a 20 year old women's jacket belonging to my wife. The jacket held great sentimental value, which I had ruined trying to repair. I held little hope it could be saved. However, Hafiz took one look and indicated it would be no problem to make the needed repairs, which required removing the entire back panel and replacing it with a new one. I picked it up yesterday and I could not tell the difference! It was as good as new! My wife believes the jacket was thrown away as it had been so badly damaged, but thanks to the amazing work of Hafiz she will be getting it back for her Birthday! I had a travel dress shirt that I bought online and when I tried it on the sleeves were too long and the sides a little out. I searched yelp and called a few places. Most places wouldn't guarantee to have it done within two days. Until I reached out to Fit and Match. I booked a time to come in. I came in and was measured and asked about the fit. I let him know that the sleeves were a bit too long. It took him 5 minutes and he had already pulled the sleeves and the back with pins into a perfect fit for me. I confirmed the fit, and asked about the time frame. I let him know that I am flying out in two days and if it could be done by then. He guaranteed that they will have it done. Two days later, I showed up without calling to see if they had kept their promise and they did. I tried on the shirt and the fit was nice and the craftsmanship was as good as if done by the original company, if not better. Everything was perfect. This is definitely now my regular tailor and I would recommend him to all my friends and family. He also went over extensively how he can make custom dress shirts and all the different styles and materials he can use. Maybe next time I'll just have him create a custom dress shirt. read more

Really love my tailored suit! I needed my suit fully tailored including a full change of buttons for my wedding. I have never gotten anything tailored before and decided to come to FIT & MATCH. We tried on the suit and the tailor adjusted his pins to meet the fit that I wanted; he also answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable and excited for the finished product. He completed the suit when he said that he would and after trying it on I can honestly say that I had that excitement inside some women might have on that show "Say Yes to the Dress." I searched Yelp for custom tailors for a specialized outfit, a few weeks before my wedding. I found Fit & Match Tailors. I called and spoke with Hafiz. I raced to his shop, told him what I needed and asked if he was able to meet my deadline of basically 3.5 weeks. I was worried because I had never had any clothing custom made for me so the whole process was foreign and extremely detailed. I had narrowed my fabric decision down to two basic styles and asked him to keep the other one as a back up in the event that I wanted another design. After I finally chose my clothing material and got measured I started to worry. I was worried about the material, the fit...everything because it was new to me just weeks before my wedding! Hafiz, the professional that he is, wasn't worried one bit, and he reassured me that he would not only be able to complete the task but also do it ahead of schedule. Trying not to be a nosy and impatient "typical consumer" I let him do his work and just waited to hear back from him when my suit was ready. Cut to the end of the story...When Hafiz called me to come try my suit for the final fitting I couldn't do anything but smile and sing his praises! I was BEYOND impressed with the quality of the clothing, especially the fit! All of my worries had been relieved and I couldn't say enough about the work that he did for me!
