We had a difficult move from UPack cubes in Bridgewater MA that this crew handled with perfection! Estefan, PJ and Shawn (not sure of the spelling of all names sorry!) were super fast but careful. We had a complicated elevator reservation system at our new building and they arrived before we did and arranged the service elevator with our concierge. They moved all items into the appropriate rooms and made sure not to scratch the floors. They were constantly trying to be efficient and not take too much time as they charge by the hour. We really appreciated that courtesy. Also, booking them with the office staff was so pleasant and professional. I did not know what day my "cubes" would arrive so I had to guesstimate the dates and they worked with me to accommodate my final move in date. Moving is stressful but these folks are a dream team. read more

I can't say enough about this company. We had two multi-stop complex out of state moves within one week, and they both went incredibly smoothly. On the first they had to move over 50 large paintings and a ton of smaller ones, and they handled them all very professionally. On the second they had two pick-up stops (including a lot of boxes, etc. in an attic with drop-down ladder) and delivery out of state to a small city neighborhood, where they were able to maneuver the 26' truck into a very tight driveway. The guys themselves were fast, careful, very good natured and fun. And the cost was reasonable, and since they bill by the hour, very fair. My dealings with the office were also easy and pleasant, and they were able to accommodate a few last-minute changes with no problem. If we ever need to move again (hope not), I wouldn't think of using anyone else. read more

I normally don't write a review but I wanted to share the great experience I had when I hired the Precision moving company. we had a lot of furniture to move from one place to another. The new place is located on the 3rd floor of the building and doesn't have an elevator. Despite of this, 3 gentlemen swiftly moved them to the new place,. They were very professional and courteous throughout, and at the end of the day, everything was delivered with good shape. I've moved so many times in my history and had experienced with many less than awesome movers, but Precision moving company was exceptionally good. This review is for my experience with a 1-BR-sized move between two apartments in Sept 2020, which was my first time hiring movers instead of doing everything myself / with friends (partly because of the pandemic). 5 stars for top-caliber customer service. I initially left a 1-star review as I was upset about some items being damaged due to how they were packed. I was then contacted by Mike (one of the owners) who sincerely apologized, wrote off the job, and compensated me for a decent fraction of the value of the items damaged. (I then took down my original review in the interim when I was waiting for my payment method to be properly credited.) I truly appreciated Mike's candor and proactiveness both in owning up for the mishap and for doing everything in his power to make things right. Thanks, Mike! Because their specialty is local / driving-distance moves, I still probably wouldn't hire them again for a packing job for a cross-country move. That said, if you're looking to move around the Boston / greater MA area and are on the fence between them vs. another company, I'd highly recommend picking Precision because of their unmatched customer-first service. I moved from Somerville to Somerville in the middle of Covid when everything was completely shut down. I live alone, and it didn't feel safe to ask a bunch of friends to come help me move, so I hired Precision Moving -- my first time working with movers. The quote they gave me was BEYOND reasonable, and much cheaper than competing quotes. (Admittedly, it helps that they're local because the cost to/from their site is not far, but that's part of why I chose them.) I had a bunch of dumb questions via email/phone which the owners answered quickly and kindly. The movers arrived on time (I'm awful and don't remember their names... sorry guys!) and got right down to business. They were wearing masks but clarified that they would have to work without them. This was TOTALLY reasonable because both apartments were 3rd floor walkups, and it was a very humid 85 degrees. Wearing a mask while moving would've been inhumane. But I appreciate that they specifically called it out so I had the option to distance myself (vs. just removing their masks and not saying anything.) The movers were very speedy and friendly. I moved from a studio to a one bedroom, one mile between apartments, and the entire thing took less than 2 hours. Nothing was broken. They put the furniture where I asked. They don't pay you back for used boxes, but they do arrange a pick-up if you want to donate the boxes for when they move families who can't afford new boxes (which I did.) Recommend them VERY highly and will be using Precision again when I move next. read more

We have worked with Precision Moving to do two moves, one within the same house and another from one house to another.  The first move was absolutely exceptional.  The team moved our things with rapid fire and exceptional service and helpfulness.  The second move was more challenging and the team stood up to the challenge-moving from the second and third floors of one house to the second and third floors of another house in hot weather. Solid job, they were quick, efficient, and handled everything. Everything got to my new place safe and sound. My couch didn't fit up the stairs. They did try, but it wasn't happening. There's a pretty big fee (150 if I recall correctly) to have them dispose of it for you, so just make sure you can get everything thru the doors/stairs! Otherwise you'll be paying or leaving the furniture on the street. read more
