It was partly pulled off by a car wash. I was promptly greeted by Steve Jr. and he came out and looked at the damage and even pushed the fender back in place so it didn't look as bad. He gave me a preliminary estimate right away. After a few days, I called Steve's Collision Repair to make arrangements for them to do the job. They said they would order the new bumper and other parts needed, get the bumper painted and I could bring my car in the following Monday. I brought the car in on Monday morning and they called to notify me that it was ready to pick up that afternoon! An excellent job was done, the paint matches perfectly. Everything looks beautiful. I am so pleased! They even washed my car and cleaned the inside too and well as cleaned my wheel rims. They went above and beyond! This is a family business and I highly recommend it. Everything was fine. About 10 days later, I had a bunch of error codes/messages flashing across my dashboard. So I called Dion and explained what was happening. He said to bring it in whenever I could, and he would take a look at it. I returned to Freeport Auto that afternoon and Dion was able to quickly identify and resolve the issue. He said it's possible that one of my sparks was going out, which caused the "Check Engine" code to flash. Dion said that error code more than likely triggered the other 5-6 error codes to flash. Dion was able to clear all the codes. His recommendation was for me to get a tune-up within 5 or 6 months. He said that even though I have very low mileage on my car, he recommended getting the tune-up. The spark plugs will be replaced at that time and I should not encounter that issue anymore. THEN, my daughter's alternator failed. The Saturday after Thanksgiving, the only auto repair shops that were open were booked. We were in a bind. THANK GOODNESS we found William (and Sarah) of W & S Mobile. We called William, he was with a customer and called us right back. We explained the situation, gave him year make model, within 30 minutes, he found the part and gave us a quote over the phone. William then got the part, came over, and set to work. The alternator replacement took TWICE as long as William quoted. Then, the battery was also weak, so he went and picked up a new battery for us. AND because of a default security measure, had to reprogram the key fob. It was dark and cold, but they were not going to leave until the vehicle was running. Guess what? At the end of the long day, William HONORED HIS ORIGINAL PRICE (other than the cost of the battery of course), despite my requests to charge appropriately for his time.
