Stay away or make sure you bring a mechanic with you. Ended up spending $1k in repairs after already over paying for a used car.

Easiest buying experience I've ever had and Mike Carlson is best car salesperson I've ever bought a…read morecar from. I called 6 Honda dealerships looking for an HR-V EX-L asking for a quote. Every other dealership was a total waste of time, refusing to give quotes over the phone or calling back hours later with absurdly high offers, presumably with the expectation that I would spend time negotiating with them. Mike respected my time and just offered me his best price right when I called (which was of course the lowest) saving us all a lot of time and headache. I told Mike I liked the Urban Gray and since it was a premium color I offered to pay the $500 above his quote for it. He said "Don't worry about the $500" (and stuck to that promise). The car was to be delivered to the dealership in a week and Mike was responsive and kept me updated throughout, never tried to change the price or upsell me on anything he knew I wasn't interested in. I showed up a week later, we filled out paperwork, and was out the door with a new car and no surprises. I wish every dealership operated like this but glad I've found one that does. If you want a Honda call Mike Carlson. Best customer service you'll ever get and willing to bet it'll be the price too.

This review is specifically for the SERVICE DEPARTMENT…read more I was initially quoted $100 for an oil change and scheduled an appointment. I also requested a quote for a tire rotation beforehand but never received a call back. I brought my car in at my scheduled appointment time for an oil change, tire rotation, and diagnostics because the battery warning light had come on three times despite the car being brand new. I spoke with Johnny Rodriguez, Service Consultant, and unfortunately had multiple issues: 1. TIME: My appointment was at 10 AM, but my car wasn't ready until after 5 PM. 2. PRICING: The $100 oil change became approximately $160. The charges included roughly $100 for the oil change, $25 for full synthetic, and another ~$30 for an MOA/RSC kit--an oil additive intended to help prevent buildup. My car is new, I did not request this additive, and I did not authorize it. 3. TIRE ROTATION: I still don't know whether it was actually performed. The tire rotation isn't documented on our 7-page printed invoice, nor are the tire pressures before or after service. We were told the technician received the requested services on a checklist. Johnny said a tire rotation is typically around $40, yet there is no separate charge for it and the numbers on the invoice simply don't add up. The checklist we were later provided lumps services together rather than clarifying what was actually performed. More concerning, one of my rear tires has visible damage. If the tires were inspected and rotated, I would have expected this to be documented and a replacement tire to at least be recommended. 4. TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT: For the first time since owning the car, the tire-pressure warning came on while driving home from this service appointment. Johnny suggested the pressure may have dropped because of cold weather, despite temperatures being in the upper 80s. When I checked the tires myself, the fronts and rears were around 31 PSI, below the vehicle's recommended 35 PSI front/33 PSI rear. I then had to spend my own time checking and filling the tires--an issue I didn't have before bringing the car in. 5. BATTERY WARNING LIGHT: Despite diagnostics being one of the reasons for the appointment, I received no meaningful explanation for why the warning light had appeared repeatedly. Additionally, since the service department updated my software, the infotainment center has started freezing. 6. NO FOLLOW-UP: Johnny offered a free future oil change or tire rotation. I declined because I don't intend to return. I instead requested some level of compensation for this visit, and Johnny said Chris, the manager, would call me. It's now been weeks, and I have received no call. So after spending $160 and seven hours without my car, I'm left with the same unexplained battery issue, low tire pressure after service, uncertainty over whether my tires were even rotated, an additive I didn't authorize, and no promised follow-up from management. I gave the service department an opportunity to address these concerns privately before posting this review. Unfortunately, they didn't follow through.

Fortunately the car appears to be running okay. During the purchase transaction, the closer/finance person tried to sell us an overpriced extended warranty. He was very persistent that we purchase it. I did a quick Google review of the extended warranty company while I was at the dealership. I found that they had horrible, horrible reviews. In fact, they had a F-rating on with the Better Business Bureau. His response to me when I informed him of this rating was "well you know people like to complain." Of course I turned down the overpriced, seemingly worthless, extended warranty. It is now December 28th and my son and I have still not received our California license plate for the car we purchased from Quality Auto Sales. We have called Quality Auto Sales several times to find out where the plates are. They either have never called us back or didn't seemed to be interested in dealing with our issue. We spoke with them again today. After calling them twice. We informed them that the current temporary registration/plates will expire on Monday. Their response was that our plates were sent out in November. When we called in Quality Auto Sales in November, they never informed us of this. Again today, they quickly cut off our call because they had to "answer the other line." Your importance to Quality Auto Sales seems to diminish dramatically after the purchase. As a consumer, you certainly hope that you receive good treatment post-transaction. Unfortunately, we just seem to be a bother to Quality Auto Sales at this point. Even on an important issue such as an auto registration. Now we are left having to scramble over to DMV on Monday to extend our temporary registration/plates. Gee thanks for that Quality Auto Sales!

I drove straight to the dealership and flagged John down. He took a quick look and said, "I can't let you drive this to LA, but I have a rental just like it. I'll pull it up, you can load it up and go." Within 10 minutes, we were back on the road. He absolutely saved the day. Thanks again, John!

Jordan was courteous and easy to work with, they moved on price, and the spray in bed liner came out well. I loved that truck. It was totaled in a collision on April 26 and I was injured, left unable to drive. Settling my GAP claim requires three documents from your finance department. I first requested them in early May. As of yesterday, when I called again and was told finance was busy and someone would call me back, they still have not been sent. Not one of my calls since May has been returned. During that same period my fiancée and I received calls multiple times a day from several salespeople and managers, plus texts and emails, asking us to come look at a new vehicle. We explained the situation each time. No one ever connected it to the paperwork sitting unsent in finance. To management: I am still asking for the same three documents. If someone in finance wants to contact me directly and send them, I will gladly update this review to reflect it. Update 9/10: several bad phone experiences later I still have nothing but the hope that "Trent" will figure out what's going on and "call us back", a promise made before by others here. Hopefully he can turn this experience around.

I recently purchased a car here after doing some research and I am very happy that I did. Prior to…read moregoing here I had the displeasure of going to another dealership in the area which I won't mention by name but apparently they are the "leading Chevy dealer in Northern California" in an automall. That interaction was so far into the cliche, high pressure, "What can we do to get you into this car today" experience that I was pretty much put off of buying there, even before they went back to 'get me the numbers' on the car. (Note, they never gave me the price on the car and the sticker omitted it so that hour was a waste). So going back to dealing with Future Chevrolet, I entered the dealership a little bit annoyed. Muhammad Asad, who called me about the vehicle and Gavin the sales manager were very helpful. There was no pressure or haggling needed. I knew the price of the car before I even saw the car. The sales team made buying the car incredibly easy. There was very little upselling in the finance department. Just paperwork, a handshake and most importantly, the car I was looking for. I meant to do this review earlier and was reminded to post this because the unnamed "leading Chevy dealer in Northern California" in an automall has texted and called me from now five different people over the last 10 days, trying to get me to step on the lot and look at cars for sale. And I have again asked that person to remove me from their list. I am a satisfied customer at Future Chevrolet.
