Had a simple screen replacement on a sliding door. Figured I would save an expensive house call by dropping the screen off at their shop...which they were willing to do. But, as it turned out, the house call was only an extra $25. Well worth it to avoid two trips from Palm Springs to Bermuda Dunes (not to mention fitting the sliding screen door into one of our vehicles) The technician, whose name I unfortunately do not recall, was very friendly, efficient and skilled. I contacted Precision Screens about having double magnetic screens made for the French doors in the room I use as my office in our home, as well as to have screens made for some other windows in the house that needed them. I received a return call within 30 minutes of leaving a message and was then referred to Steve, who came out to take measurements and provide a quote. Steve was extremely knowledgeable and patient with all of my many questions. I was presented with plenty of options from which to consider and once my decision was made, Steve handed me a quote on the spot. Steve was very professional and personable. He wore a mask at all times. After discussing the cost with my husband, I called Steve to move forward with the order. He processed a minimal deposit and said I should expect my items in about 3 weeks. I was pleasantly surprised when only 2 weeks later, Steve called and said he was ready to install. He came out the next day, made the installation of those doors look easy, gave me a tutorial on how to use them and some troubleshooting tips just in case someone walks thru the screens or for when the inevitable desert dust accumulates in the door tracks. I LOVE my new double screen doors, I can use one side or the other, or both at the same time. They are sturdy and blend perfectly with my door frame. I live in a condo in Palm Springs. My job was to install a heavy duty screen door with a pet screen. Precision Screens, hereafter "PS", answered my substantial number of email questions before I agreed to the job. They did so patiently and in a timely manner. For example, I wanted a pet screen but I needed one that would blend in with other units, so that I would not have a problem with my HOA. The three types were carefully explained to me and samples were brought. PS was on time and notified me in advance for the first measurement visit. Two days later they returned for the install. This is when I learned that the ability to install a screen door correctly partly depends on desert conditions and on the quality of the work of the track install from the previous contractor. My bottom track had a problem, slightly concave, like a shallow "U." PS did a great job using ten or so "tricks of the trade" to tweak the fit and get the best possible. The installer's work was very precise and thus "PRECISION screens" is aptly named. I strongly recommend. read more

Precision Screens installed a phantom screen door, new slider screen door and a solar shade at our home. Steve did a fantastic job and was great to work with. Precisions Screen referred me to Tom Libby (Tom Libby Construction) to replace the hardware and reseal our 4 french doors. I hired Tom to do the job and he didn't do what he said he would. The doors are not sealed and are in worse shape then they originally were. Tom's contractors license expired in 2019. I'm faulting Precision Screens for recommending someone that did a poor job and not helping me resolve the problem. Lack of integrity on their part. read more

Rescheduled it for Friday, had to get up early (7 AM) to accommodate them; they did not show up either so we had to call them again and was then told he was coming from out of town and would be late. I bought a cheap "universal" one at a big box for about 90 bucks and thought I'd do it myself. Well, it turns out it was above my pay grade, the frame for the screen had aged poorly and there was no fitting that screen on that hardware so I called Tyler. Naturally he showed up on time, measured things and told me he needed to install a new upper "track", He was back ahead of schedule with a perfect custom screen. He cut away the old bent track, installed new, and it slides like new.
