I have heard Precision Service Center from my Pastor. I am not used to going to a mechanic other than Toyota dealership. But lately, Toyota dealership is becoming more expensive and I am becoming more skeptical with their service because my car is old (2001 Solara). I went to Jerome to get my car fixed because my car was having a hard time accelerating. Whenever I accelerated, my check engine light started flashing. It was so scary. I talked to him on the phone to see if he can tell me what's wrong with my car. Right then and there, he knew the problem, which gave me a good impression that he is really a good mechanic. When he did the diagnostics, he showed me where the problems were. (I really appreciate a business that helps the customer see the problem and for the customer to be part of troubleshooting). He even showed me the evap tube that was broken maybe accidentally (or not) by the Toyota dealership. He even took the initiative to even dig deeper, another level from the diagnostics and because of that, he even helped me saved money: He recommended me to fix one thing first before changing the more expensive part. He really fixed the source of the problem. My car is 100% working now. And I think because of the changes, my car mileage is now back to where it used to be. But it's not just that. He seems to enjoy fixing cars. He is calm and he gets the job done on time and with ease. Moreover, the place is so close to Seafood city (bunch of Filipino restaurant) and so waiting can be entertaining. Overall, if you need a mechanic you can trust, Precision Service Center is the place to go to. I will be transferring my service now from Toyota dealership to this place. I thank God for opening a reliable and trustworthy mechanic place. I think my car will be my car forever because I now have a good mechanic that can bring my car back to its healthy state. =) I will definitely be referring this place to my coworkers, family, friends or even strangers. =) Thanks for the good service. Since moving to Vallejo I still took my car to Vacaville to our mechanic there. After searching Yelp reviews I stumbled upon Precision I decided to give them a call. I asked for a quote and that's the same price I paid. Nissan quoted me $400-$700 for a 15k maintenance. No thanks. Will definitely be coming back here again read more

I feel so lucky to find this gem of a place!! I have been going to the local dealership for all of the maintenance on my 2008 Camry. The dealership recently quoted me an exorbitant price for 120K servicing and I finally just had enough of their price gouging. I took a chance on this small business and had them perform the service at price much lower than the dealership quote. They also installed my new windshield wipers, replaced a broken part on my grill and shuttled me back and forth to my home in Benicia for free. The work on my car was top notch and they took the time to explain what was done and what I needed to look out for in the future. All this and I am supporting a small, local business. I would never recommend this business, the year exact after getting a new Toyota brand gas tank they purchased from Toyota, it began to leak again. I brought the car in and the business deemed it a defective gas tank, they didn't take responsibility for it actually being an installation issue. I found out the findings through Toyota since it was sent over to them at Vallejo Toyota for a tech to con dub an investigation and based on the findings, it was during installation the gas tank was dinged and pushed in with force and I was shown the etchings inside the gas tank, these etches were very visible. The owner at Precision and his wife denied any responsibility for the findings, they indicated it was I the customer who may have done the etchings or that it was the manufacturer, there's no way I would vandalize my own gas tank, don't own equipment to remove a gas tank and the thought of doing that to my own car is absurd. Vallejo Toyota is a reputable company and they treated me with the upmost respect, they assisted me in replacing my gas tank and offered their services to me, explained everything in detail and length. If it wasn't for the GM at Vallejo Toyota I would've been out of pocket an erroneous amount of money for a second time within just a year of replacing the part, labor costs of the lady one that Precision installed. I felt defrauded and was very upset to go through this. I also was accused of bringing in my car with a shattered passenger rear window, the owner notified me the second day of leaving my car with them in their lot that my window was shattered. Wth?! I asked him to review his surveillance cameras if there was any in place because I didn't bring my car to them in that condition. I drove over there later that afternoon and nothing was missing, everything was there and then the owner indicated it may have shattered because of the heat, it was summer, but there was NO WAY the window shattered because of the heat. He then quoted me an amount to pay if they replaced the window through pick n pull, he advised me I would have to incur the cost. I was baffled! I them spoke to his wife and she advised me they'd cover the cost, they replaced my window and I didn't have to pay. I'm sure they reviewed their security cams and realized my car was not brought to them in that condition. They didn't charge me for the removal of the gas tank the sound time I brought it in due to the leak and they didn't charge me for the tow, but they compromised my trust in them. I once recommended this business and after this awful experience I wouldn't ever offer their services to a friend or an enemy! I dealt with a headache for two weeks I didn't have my commuter car. I have the pictures from the etchings found inside the gas tank and surely, that illustrates the gas tank was damaged upon installation by precision and was not a defective part from Vallejo Toyota. Please re consider taking your business here, in my olio on they have bad work ethics because they negligently failed to take responsibility for the installation error they made on a gas tank I trust them to replace, it cost me money for the parts, labor and they cost me a great deal of grief going through this problem. I'm just glad Vallejo Toyota was very understanding and helped me out based on the grief and compassion they had for me and my situation. They were also denied the facts from precision when they disclosed the findings Vallejo Toyota tech had disclosed to the owner and the wife at Precision. They both insisted it was a defective part. I can contest, those etches were not from a defective part, it was done clearly during the installation which caused my gas tank to leak a year later from the temperature and weather changes, but that new gas tank should've have lasted the life time the car still has left. The fact it only lasted a year was something that wasn't supposed to happen or should have been replaced. Poor, poor work ethics! read more

I recently purchased a pre-owned MINI, which needed some specific services to be performed on it, including a valve cover gasket change, a brake fluid flush, and a replacement of the lower arm bushings. My bf recommended that I come to Jerome's shop. He told me that Jerome was fair priced and mechanically well versed. When I got there, they worked on my car right away and I was able to drive away with it at the end of the day. He wasn't pushy with any additional services and he performed exactly what I needed. I brought my 2002 Nissan Maxima for a diagnostic check. Jerome and Rafael were great! When I picked my car up, they had written down all the things that were wrong with it. They also explained everything in detail and gave me an estimate for each item. When I brought my car back for repairs a month later, they remembered me and honored the price that they originally quoted me. They also did a few extra repairs without even charging me!
