My husband and I arrived at 2 having no idea what to expect and after signing in we were called in. The nurse won my daughters heart and instructed my husband to lovingly restrain her. She was freaked out and looked to me for comfort which I couldn't provide her because I too was freaking out. The nurse called in another to help hold my daughters arm and the two of them charmed and coo'd my daughter to a relative state of acceptance as they drew her blood and afterwards rewarded her with a Doc McStuffins sticker and my daughter was JUICED. I'm super grateful to these amazing ladies for being strong for me.

But this time, everything went smoothly thanks to two amazing staff members -- Veronica and Marie. They treated my child with patience, empathy, and so much kindness. They took their time explaining what was happening, used such a gentle approach, and somehow made my child feel calm and safe the entire time. What's normally one of our hardest days turned into one of our easiest, and that meant the world to me as a mom. You can tell this office hires people who truly care about their patients. Veronica and Marie went above and beyond, and I couldn't let any more time pass without publicly thanking them. The staff was welcoming, kind, and very sympathetic to how sick I was. After assessing my level of illness, Sally, the Nurse Practioner I saw, switched me to a much more effective oral antiviral. They were not there to push one thing, they were there to get me well.
