A few years ago I made an online purchase for a used pedal from Bill's. I showed up to get it and as it turns out, they had no idea where it was. They had spend an hour looking for it after I purchased it, and then they spend another 20 minutes looking for it after I arrived. To make it up to me they offered me a brand new version of the pedal at the mid point of the difference between the used one and the new one. I took that offer because it was a great deal. Since then I have bought 3 more pedals from them over the years, a microphone, and a whole lot of accessories. If I want to purchase another guitar at any point, I will definitely hit them up if possible.

I had an appointment today and the place was bustling. They have plenty of staff although I saw signs for help everywhere. So here's my take, there aren't many ski shops anymore or like there was say, 40 years ago. Baltimore Ski Warehouse (BSW) is pretty central and they do offer both used and new equipment. There prices on used equipment are a tad high vs. eBay or liquidation sites. With that said, just like a lot of shopping, ski gear also has gone online and it's equally affordable to BSW. When you buy online, it's a gamble because what important is the fit! Some sales are final sales or a PITA to return. BSW affords you the fit and will work with you until you're happy. That's called connivence and you pay a little extra for convenience just like you do for milk and bread at the big gas stations. Today, I tried of 4 brands of boots and purchased a pair and left happy despite paying a little more. BSW, guaranteed me a good fit or I can return the used boots for another pair of used boots within their huge selection. Folks were nice and again, it was busy so MAKE AN APPOINTMENT online. The clubs sat at their location for over a week before they even looked at them. DO NOT sell them your used clubs. Be aware this is not an individual store I'm talking about, it's their corporate HQ. It has been a totally bad experience. I also had ordered a Cobra fairway wood from them, and it was supposed to have a Denali Black shaft, it came with a blue. So their staff botched to description of the club, or more likely sent me a different one. So basically both of my interactions with them have been bad. I have to use up my credit with them, and I'll never do business with them again.

From the start, the fitter took time to understand my current setup, typical ball flight, and what I was hoping to improve. Instead of rushing into swinging clubs, we talked through my strengths, weaknesses, and playing habits. The fitting itself was very detailed. Using launch monitor data, we tested several different club heads and shaft combinations. I was able to see real numbers like ball speed, spin rate, and launch angle. Doug explained everything clearly and adjusted clubs throughout the session so we could dial in the best combination. I am excited to get the new clubs out on the course and play!

You can buy a guitar ANYWHERE (like Bill's, Guitar Center, even Music & Arts) - don't give your business to someone who can't honor one of the simplest and most common requests in retail. An entire WEEK later, this kid calls me back and explains that you refused to honor the exchange. So you're right, you haven't even taken the time to speak to me yourself. There was fret sprout making it difficult to play due to sharp edges. Steve upon further examination noticed there were loose frets and recommended a dressing and leveling.
