Upon arriving, I was greeted by an employee who asked if I needed anything. He brought me a pair of sneakers that I was interested in. Shortly thereafter, another seasoned employee who was previously helping another customer asked how I was doing. He asked me a few questions about the fit and feel and suggested that I go up a size. I also asked him socks and waterproof spray. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I was very pleased with the exceptional and courteous service that I received by both employees. The store is smaller than other local standalone athletic stores in the area. The one complaint that I have about this location is that the windows are bare with no blinds so it was very bright to see the sneakers against the windows. It is particularly challenging for those of us who have sensitive eyes. I had a hard time seeing the merchandise. Full price unworn items are available for exchange, store, credit, or refund within two weeks of purchase. Full price worn items can be returned for store credit or exchange within two weeks of purchase. A perk of this retailer is that they offer a loyalty rewards program where when you have made a purchase total of $250 you get a reward of $25 to use for future in-store purchases. I needed 4 kids' t-shirts during this holiday season to arrive much more quickly than I thought due to one child's tragic medical issues. 5 year old with incurable brain cancer and on 1/5 he would be receiving his 30th and last radiation treatment. It was a lot for an adult to endure and he had gone through 29 without a single complaint and no sedation. He loves orange, so his parents asked all friends and family to wear it that day as would their son and his 3 very young siblings. I sent a message to League Outfitters explaining the situation and how much it would mean to this incredible warrior of a sweet kid and his courageous-beyond-words family to get those orange T's by 1/5. On 1/5, I received a note from the family that they were delivered and so very much appreciated. I can't thank League Outfitters enough for caring. On the day this child "rang the bell," he wore his new orange T. His journey ahead is an arduous one, full of challenges for him and all those who know and love him. At my last visit in August, I waited a while before an associate assisted me with a scan to do an assessment of which type of shoes I should purchase, stability or neutral. I requested that the scan be emailed to me, but it never was. Over the last week or two, I tried calling to request it. I tried calling closer to closing thinking it would be lighter for them to assist me. The line went unanswered after many rings. This week, I decided to call at 10 a.m. this past Monday when they open. Cerise answered and put me on hold for 12 minutes. I hung up and called again. She said it was busy and got my info and said she would return my call in 15 minutes. 15 minutes came and went. It's now Friday and still no call. I even left a voicemail later this week. The automated system said calls are returned in 24 hours. Apparently that is false. I decided to go into the store at opening and finally got what I needed. Shawn, the manager, was friendly and helpful. Two recommendations I have is that they need to hire more staff and do a better job of answering the phone and returning calls. Upon delivery, the team did not bring batteries and therefore could not verify that the unit powered on. I purchased the required batteries that same evening, but the equipment still failed to power up. This appears to be due to either a loose or disconnected console mast wire or a faulty console. I immediately contacted my salesperson, Bryan Fortini, via email and voicemail. He did not respond. When I visited the store in person, he stated there was nothing he could do except report it to the delivery team. This is unacceptable. As the salesperson and my primary point of contact, he represents the company and should have responded promptly and taken ownership of the issue. The lack of responsiveness and ownership in this situation is extremely disappointing--especially considering that our household has invested over $15K in Johnson Fitness equipment since 2021. We've purchased multiple products, including an Octane Fitness elliptical, a Matrix stationary bike, a treadmill, and the Matrix S-Force Trainer, to build out our home gym. Given this level of commitment and loyalty, I expect a much higher standard of service. This experience falls well short of how a repeat customer should be treated.
