I have had to call AAA more than I have wanted in life but everytime they dispatch Precision Towing. And everytime I feel blessed that I am going to get the best in San Diego. The most recent time I had the pleasure to meet Ammar. They were faster than AAA anticipated. Ammar was very professional and even identified the issue with the vehicle in hopes it would start without having to tow it to the shop. He was patient and we worked together to make it happen but unfortunately it wouldn't start, so he loaded up my vehicle with skill and safety applied and I was impressed. I needed a tow - fast, quick and affordable. What everyone thinks of when needing a tow. Since I was stranded on the off ramp of my exit in lemon grove, I figured a local company would be better. I almost made it home, I live a couple blocks from the freeway exit and I was stranded right on the exit itself. Precision towing responded quickly; but not how I expected. It was a price gauge. They charged me double then what they quoted due to the "extras" they did not mention over the phone. To make matters worst, in the couple of minutes they had my vehicle in their possession, they managed to steal some personal belongings and also a brand new iPod. Those items were in the back seat. As soon as they dropped off my car - it was gone. They were the only ones with access to my car. read more

IF YOU CAN WAIT, CALL A DIFFERENT COMPANY!!!! By far the worst customer service and experience in my life. My brother was in an accident, his motorcycle was towed and the driver gave us a number to call. Unfortunately, it took a week to finally get in contact with anyone after relentlessly searching Google and Yelp. Once I finally spoke with the lady, she had an attitude and kept cutting me off. Finally, I asked her to let me speak and simply inquired as to why we're being charged extra fees when there's no clear way to contact the business. She stated "we've had our number for 10+ yrs, you obviously dialed the wrong number before if you got me now!". After hearing that, I stated how there are multiple numbers online that either ring or send you to a voicemail box which is full. She yelled "don't yell at me" and hung up. We've still not been able to get my brother's property since they told us that there's more paperwork that they'll need besides the title, insurance, and license. I don't understand why they would need the bill of sale but we are not providing that. PFA just (3) of the various numbers found online. Worst customer business relations we've encountered with a towing company. We called this morning to see how much it would be to retrieve our truck. We were told a specific amount and told the latest time we were able to pick up. Upon coming to the location to pickup our truck, the price went up substantially to add an extra day of storage fees. When we called the number given to us by the receptionist, we spoke with a Mike, on the phone. This man claimed to be the dispatch and then the owner. But then said he wasn't the owner. We explained the misinformation and misleading prices. He argued that we were wrong and the price is as the receptionist gave, including the increased price of an added day of storage. The receptionist even stated that people lie everyday. Not a professional business. Beware of raised prices and added fees. read more

Been actively working with my cousin to get his car out of the tow yard. Through the process it seems as if this place wants to complicate each and every part of the step to try and get things postponed to the following day... Allowing them to make more money. I had given my cousin some money to borrow after sitting on the conference call to confirm the amount owed to get the vehicle. Less than 2 hours later we were presented with an additional cost. More than $120 over what we were originally told. I would have thought my cousin was lying to me to get more money had I not listened to the phone calls myself. Seems like a shitty way to do business... Or maybe a shitty business... This is going to cost way more in time spent and legal fees than the extra $120 you tried to make off people who can't afford it. What an idiot. read more

This place is a rip off! The employees are nice and hard working but the owner is a crook, and took advantage of my 20 yr old Daughter who is a student at Cal Poly. She bought a car from him. We took it on a test drive on the frwy and the car seemed ok. They towed the car to my apt bcuz it wasn't registered, they said, and my Daughters boyfriend went to take it to get smogged and it didn't even make it to the smog place. It broke down. He refused to give her her money back or even discuss it. This was my Daughters first car experience and she never even got to drive it once! She spent all the money she had saved up on this car $1700. It was very hard for her to save that money up she is a college student and has a lot of loans to pay back and she is doing it on her own and he took advantage of her. Worst place ever!
