There is sticky stuff all in the back from something being spilled. They took the roof off my jeep as well because they forget to screw in the roof knobs back. They rode around in the jeep an additional one thousand miles on my odometer!!! I kid u not!!! See pics below I wish I was making this stuff up. I have a dent on the back door gate and my tags were swapped out cuz the temporary paper had been moved as well as the paper plates on my jeep! This is one croooked shady place! Three weeks ago, I went out for an early drive with my 2016 GT3 RS. I heard subtle sound and as I pulled off to the next exit my stomach sank seeing the damage. I quickly drove back home and contacted my friend that has a clear bra shop and he recommended Mark at Philip Thearles Autowerks. I got Marks number and gave him a call. He really helped me through the whole process and made me feel much more comfortable then what I was anticipating. Mark answered all my questions and gave me everything for the next step. Truly this was the best person to handle my situation since I do not trust really anyone. This car has been with me for 10 years and it holds a special place for me. I never dealt with this before on such an expensive vehicle. Fast forward Mark was kind enough to pick up the car, send me the estimate all within a few hours before the end of the day. He also had the bumper(main damaged area) off and checked to asses any other damage that could not be seen. He submitted everything to the insurance and I really did not have to do anything other than a phone call to my insurance and a couple emails. Following the next week the parts were ordered since the approval was done. I got text and picture updates of everything that was happening. I really appreciated this as I like to document the whole process. You really can tell Mark and his shop care about customer service and making you feel at ease. What I can say about the final end of the repair since a new bumper had to be ordered and repainted in Lava Orange. It looks like nothing happened! It looks better than Brand new. The paint matches exactly the rest of the car. Another thing that I was a bit worried but as you can see in some of the photos, you cannot tell the difference. When the car was ready I got a nice tour of the huge facility that is state of the art and they are Porsche certified! I am truly thankful for Mark and the shop getting this done within less than a month. I really do appreciate the whole process. No one wants to go through this but Philip Thearles Autowerks is the place to go for your automobile repairs / body shop.

Broke down on the side of the road, and the tow truck driver "strongly recommended" I bring my car here, saying this was the best shop around. Now, I'm convinced they're working together to scam people. I left my car, and from there, it was a total nightmare. For weeks, I barely got any updates. I called, left message after message, but almost never got a call back. When I finally reached someone, it was always a new excuse--"waiting on parts" or "the mechanic is looking at it now." Meanwhile, my car was just sitting, totally ignored. Then, it gets worse: after 3 weeks, the mechanic calls and tells me the problem is water damage. I told him my car has NEVER been exposed to water, and he was quiet for a second. So I went down to see what was going on. When I got there, my car was sitting outside with the windows rolled down, and the inside was completely soaked and to add insult - there were dirty cat or dog footprints inside of my car - ON MY WHITE LEATHER!!! He left my windows down or doors open during a storm, and now my car had water damage--damage he caused! But here's the final straw: after telling me about this "water damage," he actually suggested I call my insurance and claim it as a total loss. Are you kidding me?! He damages my car and then tries to push me into committing insurance fraud to cover his own incompetence. I immediately took my car to another shop. They had it fixed in 48 hours--it was just a bad ground wire, no water damage necessary. This place is a scam. They're incompetent, negligent, and downright shady. TRUST YOUR GUT - If you care about your car (and your sanity), avoid this place at all costs!

This past year I was contacted by Jorge (the owner), personally marketing to me. I did end up purchasing another year of washes at a 25% increase from my previous purchase. However, it was a horrific experience. Getting the washes completed was excruciating. We were supposed to have a dedicated time slot every week but no shows, extreme late arrivals, and calendar shuffles became the norm. I was patient and considerate of staffing issues during covid, drove his staff around to get a battery when his van died in my driveway...so many occasions where I removed all my belongings from the car for the wash that ultimately never culminated. At one point I cataloged 13 no shows! Jorge also failed to keep track and now indicates he only owes me 1 last wash, whereas, my records show that he still owes me 5. And even the last one has never transpired. Pretty sure I have been swindled out of hundreds of dollars in washes. Gael, is his nephew, and when I would bring up any issue with him directly, he would say it was Jorge's mistake, and Jorge would do the same to Gael. This is a business approach that is pretty deplorable. My overall thought on this company is that you should NEVER purchase from them in advanced, make them actually work for their money. Showroom is simply not organised or dedicated to the business enough to operate reliably or on a trust basis. Jorge is trying to sell the business and has subsequently checked out to some degree and I fear more fall out to come. Update: I have gotten a couple texts from Gael and Jorge to do my 'last' wash with 15-30 minute advanced notice. No thanks guys...we are done!
