Brought my Honda here to have the TPMS checked. They found a faulty tire sensor and "fixed" it. After that my tire starts leaking air. I bring it back to have it checked. They claimed there was nothing wrong with the tire. But I have to put air in it once a week, so something is clearly wrong. I brought it to a tire shop and they found that the precision mechanic rebuilt the tire sensor incorrectly and that was causing the leak. In 15 mins the tire shop had the problem precision created fixed. read more

I took my vehicle for a state inspection and they failed it, because it was moisture in my headlight. The headlight work far as blinking, the light turned off and on and no cracks. Precision tune auto wanted to charge me $1000 to fix it. All I wanted was an inspection done. I thought by taking my car there would be good far as pricing. They are a rip off and my that will be my last time taking my car there. Very disappointed. They do not deserve even one star. read more

Technician looked at my car for 30 Minutes and quoted 7,000 - 9,000 dollars for a new engine. Took it to another shop who actually did a thorough diagnostic. I was sent codes and pictures. The new engine would not have fixed the problem. It would have cost THOUSANDS more than was necessary. . read more

I really want to like this location because it is on base and convenient to the exchange, but it is so backed up, it makes it hard. I called early in the week to see if they could take my car for an oil change with tire rotation, along with the normal works. I was told they definitely had time so to bring the car by. Upon arrival, it was completely backed up and I was told they could do my car like I was told, but I would have to drop it off (at like 1030) because they wouldn't get to it for hours so I could have it back at the end of the day. Disappointing after driving almost half an hour. So I made an appointment for Thursday at 11. Upon dropping it off at 11, I checked to make sure they could do it in time for me to go pick up my son from school and they said yes, there was only 1 person in front of me. So I walked over to the exchange to kill time waiting for the call, and when I return at 1230, it hasn't moved and I am told there is still "just one person ahead of me". Around 1:00 ish, I tell them I am just going to have to leave minus my car servicing AGAIN because if I am not gone within about 45 minutes, I won't be able to get my son. He says they can service it right now, so that was cool. I pay, and am leaving right when I need to. When I get home, I notice that the two of my tires that were getting kind of low were still in the exact same spot and hadn't been filled or anything, which is literally A: part of the service I had paid for; and B: part of the reason I needed my car serviced since one of my tires was about 10 psi low and one was around 5 psi low. If they didn't have time to service my car, they should have just said so instead of taking my money, cramming me in, and not doing part of the service I specifically paid for. I still have to go have someone rotate my tires, and I hope they actually did the other stuff that they were supposed to. This place would be okay of you work on base and can drop it off all day, but for everyone else, it just doesn't work. read more

I will admit- I was EXTREMELY skeptical of taking my truck here due to the negative reviews. Believe it or not, it actually has some decent reviews on Google, with assured me this might not be too bad. The bad: 1. Left my car there overnight in order to ensure it was the first car up in the morning. I came by at 1500 the next day and it hadn't even been brought back. Over 24 hours for a 2 hour repair. 2. No call or communication from the shop during this time. 3. Labor price was high- especially on a military base where this should be discounted at least a bit. The good: 1. My truck got fixed. There was a small issue when I picked it up and it was taken care of, free of charge. 2. They gave me a discount for the long wait. 3. Josh, who works at the front desk, was an awesome guy to work with. 4. My truck drives great. This place is extremely busy due to the location. For basic car needs, I would give this place a shot again. read more

I encourage everyone to do their own work or find a friend or better shop to do their work. I had a friend who brought in a vehicle to get a hardline replaced for brakes and ended up being charged almost 800 dollars. My advice would be to use this place to get your inspection stickers and nothing else unless you have plenty of extra money laying around. read more

NOT TRUSTWORTHY! PAY ATTENTION TO REVIEWS! My cars starter was failing, My car did not want to turn on and would start most times on the 2nd or 3rd try. I took it to this shop told them I just want a starter replaced. They charged me $400+. I got my car that same afternoon and the car was MUCH WORSE It took 20 tries or more tries to get the car started it, then they told me it's an issue with the ignition switch which was not true, my father who has been a mechanic almost his entire life and myself checked everything else and the only issue was the starter. I just ended up buying another starter and changing it myself at the local auto craft shop on base. I ended up testing their starter & replacing the starter and found out theirs was faulty and not working properly. After I added my starter I bought from oreilys the car started on the first try and has not failed me since. Their work should have resolved the problem but instead increased it. read more

A few months ago a fuse went out on my Harley on A Ave. I walked over with the fuse and asked if they had one and they told me yes. I asked how much amd the man had the nerve to say its not for sale. He then proceeded to tell me they would have to work on my bike directly and charge me a service charge to sell the fuse. Because I want to push a 600lb Harley Davidson a half a mile to them so I can be charged a service fee, and up charge on a damn fuse. Absolutely ridiculous they would rather me be stranded than sell me a fuse that costs a few dollars. This is not customer service and it definitely is not taking care of service members and their families. Stay away from these people, they only care about your money read more

I caught a nail in my tire and took it to this location to get patched. I dropped my vehicle off with them and several hours later they called me to inform me they could not patch my tire because it was too close to the side wall. I was a bit confused because the nail was just off center to the middle tread. They quoted me for a tire to replace it. The quoted price was significantly higher than I paid for the tires, which I am glad because when I denied their service and took it to the dealership they had no problem patching the tire. If I had taken these shade tree mechanics at their word my $20 fix would have cost me over $300. After reading the other views I question the integrity and caliber of work performed at this location. read more

My daughter went to the Fort Lee location on 1 March 2018 to get her tires rotated. After they were done and she paid, she walked out to her car and noticed the tires had never been rotated. My daughter went back inside to tell them, so they pulled the car back in and within a few moments the mechanic came out and "whispering" to the front desk man said "they never even rotated her tires". I am livid and wondering how many people something like this has happened to. Also, a few months ago I took my car there, out of laziness, for a headlight bulb change and they wanted to charge me $76!! I promptly left and went to auto zone the next day to pay $14 and spent 5 minutes changes it myself. I'm done with them, and am angry that their service to military personnel, (or any personnel, for that matter) on a military base is allowed! read more

This is an excellent shop if you enjoy wasting your own time and money. Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. Employees here also lied directly to my face multiple times. I brought my car in for service and received zero feedback and communication for three days. The only time I got any info is if I called and went back in in person. The final straw was when I went back in and asked for an update as I was promised a call from the manager with quotes after waiting three days. I walked in and the guy at the front told me they were currently working on the vehicle when I already saw it in the same parking spot it had been in for two days straight. I know this because I drove by multiple times a day because I felt like something wasn't right. I paid for my "service" and took my vehicle back with nothing being done or even having a answer about what was wrong. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

This is the second time in my 24 years that I am writing a review on a business. And this is the first negative one I've written. With the exception of two individuals that I dealt with at different pints, the customer service was awful. The actual work.... or lack there of, is why I am taking time to write a review. My vehicle sat in the parking lot of this shop for a month and a half. And they never did more than take the front bumper off... and leave it off as my vehicle sat in the rain and snow for almost two months. This was the first time I've had such a dramatically negative experience with a business. Please be wary of this location, I know nothing of their other stores. read more

I paid 57.00 for an inspection. They miss the fact that i need a need hub bearing. They said i needed new ball joints and it would cost about 800.00. I said ok and took my vehicle in for work. They ordered pressed in ball joints and didn't realize mine were riveted and needed to be torched. That's also when they realized i needed a new hub bearing. If they torch my rivets then it would ruin my sway bar. More costs. Crappy inspection. Cost now up to almost 1400. 40.00 for shop supplies is ridiculous. They kept trying to get me to spend the money when i just wanted to leave. I suggested replace the control arms and not ruining the sway bar by torching. Then they got inpatient with me even though one mechanic agreed with me about the control arm. I bought two lower control arms, hub bearing and two shock absorbers for 500.00 and did it myself. The older guy with gray hair got rood and inpatient with me when he realized i was correct. 40.00 for shop supplies is ridiculous. read more
