Said they just got the parts for my car at 1 and the guy went on lunch break mind you I made this appointment a week ago so they should of had my parts for my appointment at 8am since they knew I was coming to get my brakes changed ... I just went and picked my car up because that was very unprofessional.. when I got there to pick my car up at 230 all bays were full of cars getting worked on that got there after me ! I don't understand how they have those part ready for those car appointments but not mine ... do not recommend at all no sense of time or having the proper tools/parts available even when they been given advance notice you were coming .. I can see if I just showed up and they had to squeeze me in but that's was not the case and when they didn't have the parts they could explained that and called me back to drop my car off when the parts got there it's not hard to have common courtesy especially to a paying customer.. any other shop would have called when they didn't have the parts or had the parts ready for my appointment .. this is just ridiculous

And he even offered me advice on whether or not to get other repairs done. Which actually saved me money because of that advice. This repair shop is one of the best repair shops I've ever been to. I believe they won't disappoint you. My repairs were a fuel pump and a few vacuum leaks. For me, the price was fair because I know you have to remove the entire back seat to get to the fuel pump. I had it looked at by three different mechanics in Richmond area. All gave me a list of things that needs replaced. Each one's list was different things to be replaced. None of their suggestions sounded right to me. After looking on Yelp I found Mr. Kweleme. Mr. Kweleme replaced two of my vehicle's spark plugs and changed the engine oil and it fixed the issue. I also asked his opinion on the other things mentioned by the previous mechanics, and except one thing, everything else that was told by other mechanics was not necessary. Mr. Kweleme confirmed those parts are in good condition and explained why he thinks they need no replacement. I think Mr. Kweleme is also charges resonably. Thank you Mr. Kweleme!

Caught clearly off-guard, I searched for some shops that could work with me and inform me of my options. I recalled someone mentioning having their transmission serviced at this Aamco location and did a quick internet search for reviews of the shop. To my suprise, all the reviews were glowingly positive! I decided to give them a try and sure enough, all those other reviews were correct. Sean answered the phone and was immediately friendly and attentive to my needs. I had the vehicle towed to his location and they performed a thorough diagnostic of my vehicle. The part that really exceeded my expectations, however, was how detailed and patient Sean was while explaining to me the diagnostic process, results, and our options moving forward. I felt that he looked at me as more than just a number and genuinely understood the plight of being caught off-guard with a costly automobile repair. He was patient while my wife and I took a few days to carefully consider our options. Ultimately, we've decided not to invest more money into our ageing Acura and to purchase another used vehicle instead. However, because of Sean's excellent customer service- I did not yet experienced the service of the other technicians there, but I would take the other reviewers' word for it- I will definitely take my other vehicles (including our "new" one) to this shop from now on. When I first moved into Chester, I broke down about 77 miles away. My first day of work was the…read morenext morning. But thankfully, I had AAA. I had my car towed to the closest auto repair shop to my new job and that is how I came to C & J. They replaced my alternator, which is why my car shut off on the side of the road. And I've had no more issues with it since then. When I needed my oil pan resealed. I shopped around, but decided to stick with them. The price for the work ended up being $80 less than a nearby chain auto shop, and over $100 less than the local shop with most and highest reviews. I like Bob. He's at the front a bit and does some odd jobs around the garage. Lee did the work on my car. And I have had no issues with any of the work done on my car. I would give these guys a shot. They're very reasonably priced and do good work.
