I had a vehicle towed here since it wasn't able to start. Upon calling them they were not only able to tell me that they do accept this type of scenario, but they were also able to tell me what towing company they recommend and why. The referred me to Frankie's towing due to it being the overall best value in the area, and because they also have a trusted relationship with them. They were able to get the vehicle repaired and now it starts and runs well! Overall I think what they charged for labor is fair for the market, and the quality of work seems adequate. The staff is friendly as well, so the only draw back is really that the entrance and waiting area feels a bit dirty and run down. If you need your car serviced in the area this is definitely a decent place to take it! read more

I've ignored a non-critical repair since December. To clarify, it's now the beginning of March. The shops I did contact when I'd have the time to consider the repair throughout that while all asked for the car to be dropped off, some requiring a full week before dropoff, which didn't work for me, so I kept putting the minor nuisance on the back burner. Fast forward to the other evening, and a phone call with a dear friend results in learning that a family friend who had helped raise him, the mother to one of his closest friends from childhood to this day, was on her death bed across state lines. His car was in the shop from a hit and run. Suddenly, the minor repair I'd ignored for months became top priority, because I didn't want him needing to return to the Twin Cities immediately if he carpooled or spend a ton on a rental and still have to measure his stay to minimize the rental expenditure. I had an unexpectedly busy day yesterday, so once I was free today, I picked one of the best-rated Plymouth repair shops and grabbed my phone, expecting it to be the first of many calls, given recent experiences with fielding this exact repair for my car. Nope. John was not only truly warm, he was very considerate and informative in his questions before inviting me to bring my car in for a quick repair today, despite it being already 3:30 pm at that point, with the shop closing in an hour and a half. I got to the shop at 4 pm. Less than half an hour later, I was leaving with my car no longer clanking from a loose part. I think I've found a solid new (and far more local - my go-to shop up until now required a half hour drive, but I love my car so I didn't mind) doctor's office for my car. read more

On the coldest morning on 2025 my car wouldn't start. I called my roadside assistance and had my vehicle towed to Precision. They have a drop box for after hours drop off. Chelsea called me the next morning and let me know they were looking at my car and she called me a few hours later and advised my battery needed replacing. My hood latch also had an issue and they took care of that at no charge. The staff here is amazing and I'll continue to take my car here for repairs. read more

(I call and get a phone quote from 2 competitors for all work done on my cars that isn't routine maintenance, they've never been off the mark by more than 10% and are nearly always the lowest price.) My family has brought our cars to this business for nearly 20 years and I have yet to have a disappointing or unpleasant experience with anyone, and they have often gone above and beyond expectation to get a repair done quickly or to try and shave a nickel off where they could if I was light in my pocket. I've been taking my cars here for years (and so has my dad) and Jeff, the owner, has always been very honest. I recently had my speedometer cable replaced and was quoted around $100. It took them less time than expected, so they only charged $70. Very honest workers here. I've also had them perform regular oil changes and they let always me know when they see something else that could be problematic in the future, but never go ahead and perform any additional work without my prior consent. I was able to drive it into their lot, they fit me in immediately, and I was back on the road in about 30 minutes. This place used to be good but it has taken a turn for the worse over the past year. And what a sharp turn it has been. The basic customer service skills seem to be missing now. Also be aware of the diagnostic service they seem to be pushing this year. They pushed it to me a couple of times for an oil leak and despite paying them 89 bucks for it twice, my car still leaks oil. Not much help this diagnostic service. And did I mention absolutely horrible customer service and a boatload of attitude? read more

This is your classic snake-oil salesman auto repair shop run by a manager who wouldn't know customer service if it hit him the face. Due to my experience here, I am so much more cautious about bringing my car into repair shops. While fixing my car, the mechanic cracked my windshield on my Honda Civic, a mistake that he readily admitted to when he returned the car back to me. I had brought in my car to fix the windshield wiper motor that had broken the previous winter. It was the weekend, so he told me to call back on Monday and speak to the Manager about the windshield. By the time I called the manager that following Monday he put the entirely liability on me, saying (more like yelling) that I had no proof that the windshield wasn't already cracked when I had brought in there. If the windshield was cracked when i brought it in there THEN I WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR IT TO BE REPLACED! THEY BROKE IT! If you bring your car here, do your due diligence and take photos before you bring it in, they care only for their bottom line. read more

Waiting room is next to counter with 5 chairs and a TV. They do have a charge station if your battery is low. Close to a few places to visit. The service is excellent. They keep you up to date on what is going on. May not be the cheapest but you get consistent quality service. Been coming here for years and no issues. read more

Correct Diagnosis, Reasonable pricing, and Prompt Service. I had a bad experience with a different shop - wrong diagnosis and wrong recommendation for a repair. Went to Precision Tune Plymouth for a second opinion. After a short test drive, technician Matt was able to correctly diagnose the problem and gave a rough estimate the cost for a repair job. Called after an hour, gave a though explanation and two options for the repair job. It was engine misfiring and the plugs and two out of six coils should be replaced. The repair was done in three hours. My van runs without the vibration problem at low speed. Excellent job. Highly recommended. read more

I called today to make an appointment. The first time I called, the phone was answered by a male voice, then by a female. Then both hung up on me. I called again, and spoke with the female. I asked how much an oil change would be for my vehicle and she put me on hold to find out. After holding for over 6 minutes, I heard a phone number being dialed, then was hung-up on.
