It's been a yr since I tinted my tesla so this review is long due. I took my 1 week old tesla to get a full tint, paid $1435. There's bubbles in a couple of spots. The main issue is that the tint is not dark enough as I asked for. I dropped the car off early in the morning and they said it'll be ready at 3pm, it wasn't. It was 7 when I picked it up. The car was dirty, liquid running on my doors, had to have it professionally cleaned after pick up. They also left cutters in my trunk, good thing I found them and not my kids. I have been using Precision window film for some time now. I will never go anywhere else. They did my Mache. With the glass roof I was getting a lot of heat in the summer. I got my windows tinted in Spring 2024 (technician was Orlando). Service was super fast and kind. After a couple months, several small holes/bubbles formed, and I took it back. The (new) owner at the time replaced the worst window due to time, and offered for me to come back in for full replacement at another time. When I called back several days in a row - no answer. Left a voicemail, nothing. So the rest of my windows remain with bubbles. I have since moved to Maryland, which requires a car inspection. Maryland and Nevada have the SAME tinting laws (35% for front windows), and my car failed at 17-20% (metered by two different shops). I tried calling multiple times, left yet another voicemail to let them know of this, and either request a refund or reimbursement for my tint removal to pass in Maryland, and no answer. UPDATE: The shop was closed for Halloween!!! Call me a frustrated, stressed out Karen (ha ha). Brian called me today [as I'm making sure to immediately amend my review], and helped me sort this out. He checked out my account, and let me know that my front windows were tinted at 15%, which I was not aware of - as I requested only the legal 35%. Note that this appointment was PAST management, and is frustrating, but not Brian's fault. This makes sense now why my front windows have failed in Maryland at 17-20%. He also gave me instructions on how to remove the tint myself, because my biggest issue was the cost estimates here in Maryland to remove the tinting to make it pass. TLDR: Current management is still fantastic, I just slipped through the cracks on getting original fixed tinting, but totally helped out my current Maryland car inspection problem. 5 stars, just like my original experience with Brian! read more
