I ended up…read moregetting 3 bids and they came close to the lowest bidder and I ended going with Rescue Rain Gutters. We scheduled, and they could not show up due to a supply issue. They came out the following day and the work started off good but then ran into issues with paint so they had to come out again. There were some minor issues with fit and finish and they came back out to address these. At this point I felt good about their job. Then a week later after their sealer had dried I ran a water test and found several leaks and one area that was not capturing water well. My old gutters that were like 20 years old worked better. We just had our recent rain storm and one down spout fell apart during the storm because they did not secure it with a couple screws. Plus we found that they cracked a couple of edge roof tiles when installing the flashing. I tried to get them to come back out, and they were going to come out... but no show. I contacted them again and they could not come out due to Covid. Then after a month they were going to come out and their trailer broke down. After this radio silence. No follow up and I am done chasing them down to fix their issues. I just paid my handy man to fix their issues and replace the affected roof tiles. I won't hold my breath on their warranty/guarantee. The next day, I followed up via text requesting the estimate and only received a emoji in response. After two more days with no estimate, I called and spoke with Mitch directly. He apologized and said he would send it out. It has now been over a week, and we still have not received anything. We genuinely wanted to move forward with the project, but the lack of follow-through made that impossible. It's disappointing that something as simple as providing a written estimate couldn't be completed. It also raises concerns about what would happen if an installation needed follow-up or if there were issues after the work was done. Very odd experience overall.
