I talked to them on Friday February 11th 2022 about doing a refinishing/ reglazing on on a one piece tub and surround and they came to do the job on Tuesday February 15th. Chris arrived a little before the 9am start time even though the job was in Maine,3 hours away from his home. It took about 3 hours including prep work to finish the job. Horrendous job from start to "finish". Company offered to reglaze our tub downstairs for $695 and a 10 year warranty. They expected payment before we even had a chance to look at the finished project. Three separate attempts at doing one tub. There were and are still runs throughout. The last time they came, they had to sand the previous hack job. They never tarped off the work area, sending dust and debris throughout the entire living space. When the tech showed up he was very unprofessional (swearing, slurring, using the n word etc.) He moved the shower curtains and towel organizer out of the bathroom, closed the door and started working. Things are taking a while and after about 2 hours the installer came out, telling me his back was hurting and that he spent the last 20 minutes laying on my floor. That's just great. Anyway, he finally finishes and leaves very quickly. I come out of the bedroom a few minutes later to check the tub and the entire bathroom is completely covered in a coating of fiberglass dust from sanding the fiberglass tub. If they had asked me to move additional items or I knew what the work entailed, I would have gladly moved everything (even though it's their responsibility to know and adhere to LeadSafe protocols) Our toothbrushes are covered, my elderly mother's water pick for her dentures, every last item in the bathroom is covered in a fine powder. I call the installer and he says he'll "come blow it off" I told him there are LeadSafe protocols that are supposed to be followed when dealing with particle containment. You can't just "blow off" our things they need to be HEPA cleaned or replaced. He hung up on me. I tried calling the company hotline and left a voicemail. The owner of the company, Linda, called me back just to say " call the subcontractor not my problem byeeeee" and quickly hung up, never to take another of my calls. I called the installed back and he began to curse and slur at me. I then texted both numbers to notify both parties that I would be reporting them and this was egregious. He then texted me the disgusting message attached below. My mother has an ongoing respiratory that the dust and lingering smell has exasperated, an issue which Preffered Reglazing laughed at and called me a clown for. Please stay away from this company she takes no accountability uses cheap products and doesn't stand behind her fake warranty.. check BBB for her name because she reinvents her companies over and over and has several telephone numbers .. The first 2 techs didn't do anything. The third one sprayed my shower and it was totally covered with drips. He also put a huge gouge in my sink counter. I had to place a matt on the bottom of my tub to hide the knicks and imperfections. There is one spot that looks terrible on my tile that I will attach. The recommended time to wait and take a shower was 24 hours - I waited 48 hours to be sure. I dropped my body wash and it took a chunk of paint off immediately (!st shower I took) . Linda stated that "No that should not have happened" I will send someone out asap. She cancelled twice (After I took those days off) - Tried to cancel a 3rd time but I insisted they come on Saturday 3/16/24 because i cancelled my plans to attend an afternoon play. The service is shockingly bad. After a series of mishaps with scheduling (including the tech showing up earlier than scheduled and leaving without calling), he fixed my tub - but had no shirt on, and left a drink on my bedstand. The next day, a Sunday, with less than 24 hours having passed since the service and having received no invoice, I was harassed for payment by Cash app or Zelle. Multiple calls and texts written in such gibberish they were almost incomprehensible; the last one was four exclamation marks. When I called that Monday and said I hadn't responded because Sunday is not a business day, Linda snapped at me and hung up. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Abominable quality, service and execution. The tub had paint drips that looked like ice cream melting down the side of a cone, there were tiles that were not fully covered with paint, there was dirt in the paint in the tub and the on the tile. Also, the tub was barely sanded, leaving all previously existing imperfections showing as well as bumps from the bondo repair. He left the old caulking in, which also was to be redone prior to painting. Also, there was only one coat of paint on the tiles (and they were not primed) so the paint on the tiles peeled off with the light scratch of a fingernail. Linda refused to refund the full amount for the tub and wanted her people to come fix it. Why would I trust her people to do a good job? The experience was equally bad. The painter did not isolate the room and the exhaust tube was not set up properly so paint dust was everywhere throughout my entire home. Fire alarms were going off and I needed to open the doors during 20 degree weather to air out the house so could breathe and my eyes didn't water. STAY AWAY!!! This company is the worst. We hired them to reglaze a sink in our bathroom. After four visits and over a dozen unanswered calls and texts, they refunded our money, but left the sink in much worse condition than when they started. The sink is bumpy and speckled, and it is already beginning to peel. They sprayed glaze on the walls, floor, ceiling, and the medicine cabinet mirror. On one of the visits, the company sent someone who (a) brought the wrong color glaze, (b) was not told what he was supposed to do, and (c) did not speak English, so we could not instruct him as to what we required of him. It was supposed to be done in one day. It took 3 it came out all wrinkled and runny and bubbly. There was a pool of the paint at the bottom of the tub that didnt dry. The guy had to come back two more times and scrape the paint and redo it. And he didnt cover the sink or light fixture, toilet and the tile floor was covered with over spray and not easy to remove. This company reglazed my bathtub last October. Tub was bone colored and they refinished it in white. Never asked me. 6 months later the bone was starting to come through. I called the company and spoke to owner Linda Crevier. She had no idea who I was and I had to give her a copy of the cancelled checks to prove they did the job. When the man came down to refinish he spent 4 hours in the bathroom with the door closed. When he was leaving he said it might lift. It was lifting before he left It was a terrible job. We had our tub reglazed in September of 2021 by Preferred Reglazing. Yes, it looked great when they were finished. However, after 9 months, the tub started to peel, so we contacted them to let them know because they say they will warranty their work up to a year. Without even asking any questions about it or wanting to come take a look, they said they would not warranty it and if we wanted it done again, it would cost $650. If you don't mind paying $650 every ten months to have your tub reglazed, then this is the company for you. We will be sending our business elsewhere. read more

Horrible Job! We used them to reglaze several tubs in our condo. First, they didn't show up when promised. Second, the work awful, with folds and wrinkles in the surface. We asked for them to come back and fix it. After not showing up the first time, we had a guy come out and not only didn't fix it, but left the bathrooms a complete mess.
