When I raised the concern, it was brushed off with the claim that frozen ground made it "okay," which is simply not true. What followed was even worse: complete silence and zero accountability. The owner never called me. The office repeatedly said the issue was "being investigated" for over two weeks, yet I received no explanation, no solution, and no follow-through of any kind. Being dismissed and left hanging after raising a legitimate concern about potential property damage is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company.

In August of 2022 I had a plumber come out and claim to have fixed my sewerage drain problem along with a hefty price tag. It worked for three months and then at the end of November my sewer pipe began backing up again and even worse! I called the original plumber and he could not have been any less helpful. I was desperate and asked Cat D. for help and she highly recommended Jersey Drains (as you can see by her review). Alex from Jersey Drains called me back immediately after I left a message and said he would be over later that day. Perfect! I was scared what he may find and how much this whole thing would cost. Alex ended up being a little later than he expected, but he kept us updated and it was never a big deal. When he arrived he was shocked to find how much sewer water came out of our pipe. He couldn't believe someone claimed to have fixed our problem. He walked my husband and I through the entire process - from snaking the drain to putting a camera into the drain to make sure everything was clear, that there were no roots, and nothing was sunken. Everything looked great! I also can't say enough about the price! Alex did an amazing job AND for a price much cheaper than the original guy. "It's not worth my time; I think you should just move on."…read more I could not believe my ears when the Manager at Bogush Plumbing said those words to me when I called to complain about the lousy job they did on snaking the sewer line. They did not use a root cutting head to cut the roots as they went through the line. This led to the line being slow soon after they left and it started backing up again. When informed about this, the manager said "we can't come back and do anything till tomorrow at 9 am," "I suggest you don't use any water till then." (I guess I will have to hold it for over 15 hours) I spoke to him again in the morning (maybe I just wasn't making myself clear I thought) and he sent someone out to supposedly take a look and assess the situation. You guessed it, "I'm here to do the video", $200 and I gotta charge you for anything else... uhhh but the caps weren't put back on correctly, (as they were when they started) so you think it might leak if the caps are not on all the way? .... Gotta charge you ... uhh but what happens if you find roots with the video? ... we'll cut them out, gotta charge you. Shouldn't you have just cut the roots out first? Now after screwing up the first $260 by doing it wrong, (really if they hit roots don't you think they could have pulled out the snake and put a cutting head on the front? It would have taken ...what maybe 20 mins more?), they wanted to charge another $200 to run a video camera down the line, which they would then have to cut the roots after they got a pretty picture for another $260 or more. ($720?) Let's try cutting the roots first. You know I was not initially happy about cleaning up bits of excrement off the walls and floor the first time. No paper or towels were put down, though I figured it was fixed so why upset the apple cart, but when a person does not have the time to figure out a solution with customer; then it's time to not have customers.

Our backyard looks like a war zone, fence partially destroyed (not repaired), excavating machines broke some shale walkway stones leading to backyard, completely unsafe for adults/children, unresponsive to emails and calls. I can go on with the blatant lies sent to us via email about how the grass seeds washed away completely over a 5k sq ft and the fence was not their responsibility but what's the point. I would not recommend and have to find another company to complete the job so our 2 children 5 and under or guests get hurt. Will cost me at least $5k - $10k. Every contractor that has come is shocked our home was left in this state. We would like to have a yard this year for the kids to enjoy the summer. I have tons of current pictures of our war zone backyard and the broken piping etc from their work.
