This is the only Enterprise location I have ever had a bad experience with. I reserved a Standard SUV via Enterprise online reservation system as I always have using my plus number. Friday, June 7, 2024 - I picked up the Nissan Rouge for a week long rental. I made it 10 minutes from the store when the ground effects on the vehicle came loose. On inspection I found that the fasteners had not been replaced after servicing. I called back immediately to the pickup location, the young agent refused to assist me, he was too busy and said he couldn't get another car anyway. I respectfully asked who could I call for any help and he suggested the Topeka Blvd Enterprise office - I asked for the number, He gave me the wrong phone number to call - I found the correct number and called them (BTW the Topeka Blvd staff did an excellent job getting us on our way later that same day). Upon returning the replacement Nissan to the West Topeka location the same agent was neither apologetic or showed concern, only mentioning that his boss would offer me a discount. I rented from Enterprise again at two different locations (July-Sept 2024) using the Enterprise online system. October 2024 I reserved a car for 2 days via the online reservation for this location and received as usual a confirmation number 1667350288. Arriving at the West Topeka location for the pickup we are met by the same agent from our past poor experience. He informed me that he was now the manager and had no vehicle for us. He went on to belittle my wife and me for using the Enterprise online system for any reason as it was totally unreliable and useless. I tried to inform him that I had used that same system for years with no issues. He didn't care and continued to admonish me for my bad judgement. My wife turned to me and said she was leaving in disgust. I followed her leaving my last opinion of his management style. As we made our way home, I vowed to never rent from this location ever again. When I arrived home I used the national system to find another Enterprise location that could rent that day. They found one for me at their Gardner office I asked if they were sure that one was there and was told that if it should available in their system it was there for pickup. I explained that I had just exited an Uber that had a strong odor and that the smell did not originate from me, but my explanation was not considered and no alternative resolution was offered.I do not use marijuana and felt that the decision was based on an assumption rather than any observable behavior. This is unacceptable. Don't make a reservation with this sham of a company - you most likely won't get a rental, despite making a reservation.

What picked up my daughter on her wedding day was a small crossover SUV. So plain and small, just an ordinary car. It was ridiculous. But of course, you are required to pre-pay the whole amount, so there is nothing you can do. The day after the wedding I emailed to express my disappointment. Tami asked what they could do to make it right. I requested a 50% refund. She agreed. I never got it, even though I have emailed two more times.

Mark is great! I was…read morein Topeka this past Memorial Day weekend to attend a wedding when disaster struck. The bride was having wedding day jitters on Friday, and she accidentally backed her SUV into the groom's pickup. She broke her passenger-side tail light; and it had to be replaced immediately that day, or there would be no wedding bliss. After looking him up on Yelp, I called up Mark. Although he was not able to supply me the part himself, he went the extra mile and told me where I could find it. The man is great. There was absolutely nothing in it for him, but he still went the extra mile to help me out. I was able to install the tail light before the wedding and averted a disaster. Brought my vehicle here for secondary opinion on my BMW. The primary issue was a burning smell…read morewhich was caused by a bad valve/gasket that was leaking. I also noticed that my RPMs were off. They did their diagnosis. I was really happy they fixed the issue with the smell but even though they replaced the spark plugs, my RPMs are still off. Their cost was actually more than what I would have paid at the dealer but I do prefer to support local mechanics. John was nice to work with and I appreciated their communication and timeliness.
