My son got one of the best haircuts he's ever had at this shop. It's exactly what he wanted and what's in style right now. He's so happy with his cut and was treated like a VIP customer while there. The barbers were very friendly to us and Mel, who cut his hair and gave him a fresh shave with the works, was exceptionally sweet and very professional. She listened to him about what he wanted. Hate to be the one that leaves a bad review on a business. Even I know that this is a good barbershop. When you post the time you will be open. It's the barbers on shift that should be responsible to be there on time. The guy was cool letting five customers know that two barbers were on their way. Now, if one of the two shows up half an hour past your shift. You basically threw that one guy that was on time under the bus. The third one, wasn't there by the time I left at 8:35am. If you value your customers who bring you work. Be there on time, plain and simple. Don't show whenever you want please because you have to work on a Sunday. It's your responsibility to be there on the time you said you will be there. Others will be okay about it because Sunday is day to relax. If you have that one customer who has a planned day. They will say something. Hence, that will be me. Take it as advice for the two barbers that showed up late. If you would like to throw in $0.10 into this review. That will be a big mistake. I've gone to Premier Barbershop three times now, each with a different experience, but here's the breakdown Haircuts: 4.5/5- You can expect solid cuts from any of the barbers. I have had Bass and Karla, and both know what they are doing. Never had a bad cut from either, and the other barbers seem to do a solid job as well. They take their time to make sure the cut is good, which can contribute to the wait time. Great for conversation when you want it, respectful when you don't want it. Atmosphere and service: 4/5- The shop has the usual guy's kickback kind of feel to it with its pool table and TV either tuned in to sports or a movie. Music has actually ranged in genres, but for the most part has been solid and relatively professional (can't recall much swearing, if any, so not bad for kids.) I have been greeted each time I walked in and vibe overall seemed pleasant (much more relaxed when there are less people waiting obviously.) Wait times 3/5 or 4/5: Can either be aggravating or relatively quick. All depends on the time and day you go. I like to call in to check. The first 2 times were solid and conversations were easygoing/nice. The most recent time was frustrating when I saw someone who had arrived later than me go up first (could have been an honest mistake though,) and I had been waiting just over 1 hr (this was lunch time, so I was getting hangry as well; most people would be pretty frustrated too.) However, I respect that the barbers (rather than just up and leave,) have either made sure staff could handle the load of clients or took a very quick break for food to come back and help. Brownie points for making that sacrifice, even when not necessary. Summary: Great haircuts with pretty solid barbers in a relatively easygoing atmosphere. Choose your time to get cut wisely, the shop focuses on walk ins. Better than other shops in terms of favoritism of certain clients, but play it safe walking in. read more

This is a review for the dude at the first chair by the register. I'm not even hating but trying to warn others before they get duped out of $18. I originally came in because this place has good reviews but I was left unimpressed after my cut. I came in and asked for a medium fade only. The cut itself wasn't too long maybe half an hour but when he showed me the fade, the left side of my head had a visible line of hair from the zero to the one. I asked for a FADE not a line on the side of my head. I asked the dude to blend it more and he comes a couple minutes fixing it. After he showed me again it looked exactly the same. I told him it was cool after that because I didn't want him touching my hair anymore at that point. The worst part is he charged me $18 for a $10 quality cut. I'm not even mad about the hair because it'll grow back but you shouldn't be charging people $18 if you can't do a fade. read more
