Unfortunately bad experience at this place. She was always trying to leave my hair longer , this way I need to come more often for a haircut. Last time I went there she cut my hair uneven on the side so I need to go on the next day again. When there is someone waiting at the lobby she is in a hurry and she just wants to finish you as soon as she can so she can get the next customer and does terrible job. I had gotten my bangs cut here by a little lady named Ann after reading reviews. She did a pretty good job so I decided to go back to get my whole head cut. I AM DEVASTATED! I've been trying to grow my hair out for about a year now and I specifically told Ann, "Only a 1/2 inch trim please." She said okay and kept chopping away. She spun me around so I couldn't watch her cut and spent about 10 minutes chopping at my hair. Now my hair only grows about a 1/4 of an inch a month or so it took me a year to grow out the THREE INCHES she cut off. That's right three inches is not 1/2 an inch people! She cut off a year of hair. I am completely devastated. Not to mention it's not even on both sides. Do NOT come here. read more

I typically hate short bobbed haircuts because my hair is unruly. But Ann does the perfect A-line bob so I can literally roll out of bed and have a good hair day, with the hair neatly tucked under. I went to get a much needed hair cut at Premier Cuts this past Wednesday. I was a walk-in and Ann gladly invited me in. I had a slight idea of what I wanted, but Ann brought a magazine with different hair styles and she suggested various styles. I did not want to have my hair cut short, but I went ahead with her suggestion and I love it!! It's nice to find a hair stylist that has patience and will suggest something because they believe it's the best for the client and not just go with whatever just to get the job done. While she was cutting my hair she even gave me tips on how to make Vietnamese Fresh Spring Rolls which I totally love as well as where to go for great Vietnamese food. I had worst experience here ... One thing I realized don't go for a hair cut if the barber has any appointment nearby ... She don't even know English and she don't understand what you say ... We brought our almost-1-year-old son in for his first hair cut. He doesn't like being touched and we knew that this would be an interesting experience. Ann did a fantastic job. She was patient, quick, and very careful with the scissors. I can't say enough. When we get the guts to bring him for another cut, I know I won't be disappointed. After growing tired of paying $100 for haircuts in SF, I decided to try Ann after reading the rave reviews. It's hard to find places that cut Asian hair correctly. She did not disappoint! Great looking haircut and dye job for a low price. I don't want to say how cheap, because she may raise her prices. I always leave a 25% tip, because I'm happy with the work. Make an appointment if you go, or else you will wait over an hour, like I did. Ann is worth the wait. Came here on a whim and because of the great reviews. I went to Supercuts prior to this hair cut a couple months ago and they charged $25 for a trim. No style, no blow dry, just cutting 3" off. When I called prior to coming in Ann had told me it'd be $18 for cut & style, she gets it done the right way and for a good price too. She was great to talk to and paid attention to what I wanted and gave me the exact cut I asked for with the pictures I provided. She was awesome and I'm definitely coming back! read more

Ann did an amazing job with my trim! I don't trim my hair as often as I should (I go only once a year) because I've had one too many bad experiences but my hair was so dry and dead that it was definitely time for a trim. I Yelped so many hair salons after work and ended up making an appt elsewhere but didn't like the fact that it would've cost $40. So I Yelped some more the same day and came across Premier Cuts w good ratings. I decided to give the salon a call and asked if anyone would be able to see me the same day (mind you this is around 5pm). Ann said she would be able to at 5:15 which excited me. I got there quickly and showed Ann pictures of what I wanted and kept telling her I do not want more than an inch off and she listened! She kept reassuring me that she would not cut more than what I wanted off. I am soooo pleased with my cut! I will definitely be back and will referral people I know as well. I first came to this place by "accident". I originally had an appointment at another place when the person cancelled on me the very last minute (I was already at the salon)! Any way, I was with my cousin at that time and she told me about Premier Cuts and how the ladies were really good. I took a chance because I badly needed a haircut. I'm so glad I listened to my cousin. It's ten years later and this is the only place I will go to get my hair cut. Even now that I live 30 minutes away. I won't let any one else touch my hair! My husband always goes to Ann and he always loves his cut. I've also had her cut my hair a few times and she's good, but I mostly make my appointments with Julia because I feel she always understands how I want my hair. Just went walking around looking for a place to get a trim, after not finding anything on the internet that looked like a place I wanted to go. The place I had been going was just okay - I wanted to try somewhere different and see if I could get a trim that was a tiny bit more stylish. I spotted this place from across the street. It looked clean and neat. The windows were not blocked by shades or blinds...I liked the light and openness of it. It said walk-ins welcome. AND the woman I saw through the window cutting hair was stylish. I have in the past complained to others that it is not very comforting to get one's hair cut by someone whose hair doesn't look very nice, and who is not dressed in a stylish manner. I walked in, and said I was interested in getting my bangs trimmed - did they have time? They did. I waited about 5 min. and Ann helped me. She asked whether I ONLY wanted my bangs trimmed. I said, well, if she had time, I wouldn't mind getting the rest trimmed, too. She said she had time. I explained what I didn't want, and she listened. I was more pleased with the result than I have been anywhere else in the past 10 years...but I usually go to walk-in places that cost less than $20. Still, she took her time, did more than I asked for in that she styled it somewhat, then at the end showed me different options I could use for styling it...some I'd not tried...like twisting it, putting it up, putting half of it up, pulling it back different ways (rather than just leaving it straight and down).
