Premier Dermatology provided extremely inaccurate insurance information over the phone. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told I could not be seen as my insurance would not cover the procedure. When I offered to pay cash on the spot, I was informed that I could not do that either as they only wanted to run it through insurance. Representative was extremely rude and unhelpful. read more

This was my first visit there. Everyone was nice but since I have not been to dermatologist in years i guess not sure what to expect. They offered me a laser treatment that insurance does not cover and can not guarantee the condition will not come come back. Basically it would cost me 1000 to get done plus the ointment for my eczema they charged 47 for the product. I asked if I get that thru my pharmacy and the lady said it's expensive at the pharmacy. I took my chances and it cost me.$5 bucks with my insurance. I dont trust a office if they basically hit your pocketbook right off the bat. No thanks...will not go there again read more

If I could leave no stars I would. My husband went to see dr neubauer regarding a sore on his nose that wouldn't heal. Gave him a cream to put on and it helped but kept coming back. Went back to see The doctor again and the doctor said he didn't know what it was. So we went for another opinion to DuPage medical dermatology and it was skin cancer. They removed for a biopsy and it was basal cell and squarma cell cancer. So I would NOT NOT recommend this place for my dog. After a major reconstuction on his nose he is still being treated for prevention of the skin cancer returning. What a waste of a year coming to this doctor!! read more

Unbelievable billing practice! Think they are scamming your insurance company. Visited Dr. neubauer to get a few skin tags removed, was told it would cost $150. I spent an entire 15 minutes in the office, paid my bill thinking wow this is great! A few months later (that's right, I said MONTHS!!), I receive a past due balance bill in the mail stating I owe them more money. I call the office and was told they just changed billing companies and I need to call someplace in Wisconsin. I state my case and was told they would contact the office and get back to me. Out of sight, out of mind a few more months go by (that's right, I said MONTHS!!), without receiving any callback, I get another past due bill in the mail. So I call AGAIN, stating my case, and they were still not able to give me any additional information regarding my bill, except for the fact that this is an "office visit' charge. I keep pleading my case, all I'd like to know is WHY I was NEVER shown, told, explained, saw any notices....NOTHING about any additional charges besides the charge explained to me by Neubauer himself with 2 nurses in the room witnessing what he was talking about. So my thoughts on this is, if you have insurance, you pay your bill, then they charge insurance anyways to scam additional money for their practice, and you get STUCK with an out-of-pocket deductible expense. read more

I would love to give a zero. My child's doctor gave this company as a recommendation, knowing my child's insurance. I called to schedule an appt and they said they don't take that ins...ok, well my child needs to see a specialist so I'll pay with my credit card. NOPE. They will not ALLOW me to make an appt bc now they know he "has" ins and they don't take it bc of their "auditing policy" I am not ALLOWED to pay cash. This place is terrible. My father had a rash for a YEAR after surgery and they kept giving him creams and antibiotics; it got worse and worse. Come to find out it was a skin infection he got while in the hosp but this place never figured that out. There's a reason they are only 2 stars! Go elsewhere! read more

It took a month and a half to get my original appointment. Then the week of that appointment they called and said the doctor was canceling all of the appointments for that week. They rescheduled me for two and a half weeks later. I was frustrated, but understood that things come up. The week of my rescheduled appointment, they call again and say the doctor is canceling all of the appointments for that week, AGAIN! At this point, I was mad. The lady on the phone said they could get me in three weeks later. So now, I've waited almost three months by the time I finally get and appointment and that's IF they don't cancel again. NO THANKS! I've been going here since I was a young child and it was on the other side of town. The new location is way nicer, clean space and quite large. The girls are very nice when you check in and check out. Chairs are not the most comfortable and it's usually a cooking show on, but I don't mind that. The main issue here is that I am almost always waiting way past my appointment time. I understand patients can take longer than normal but this happens pretty much every time I go. Also, I've had a lot of problems with messages getting lost, confusion with the pharmacy, etc. I think it might be because they have a few different offices and it does always get worked out but it can be frustrating. In terms of treatment, I did 6 months of Accutane with no side effects and they were always helpful and answered my questions. I would definitely recommend this location. read more

I went there because my baby have eczema, and Dr. Megan told me to give my 3 months baby a bleach bath, and at the question of what is the side effect of the steroid cream she start to yell at me. These is the worst place I ever been. They don't gave idea of what are doing. read more

I had been a long time patient of Premier Dermatology, over 20 years, most recently with Dr. Kelleher, whom I thought was a fabulous Dr. Unfortunately my HIPAA rights were violated and nothing was done. I was forced to leave the practice. I work in healthcare and there is zero tolerance for HIPAA violations so I'm not sure what was falsified. I have also highly recommended Premier to everyone I know, unfortunately not anymore. HIPAA is something that has to be enforced and Premier Dermatology does not!! read more

Beautiful office, extremely calming. Keep in mind a dermatologist is a specialist so it can become pricey. I've only been a handful of times but the wait time was under 20 minutes and the doctors were knowledgeable. I've referred several friends over the course of a few years. read more

So I made an appt because I had a very bad ingrown hair and I randomly got these underground pimples on my face my mom thought turned to sebaceous cysts from the tanning beds so Already I was very nervous about what was happening to my face and other areas so I went there and at first spoke to a nurse and told her everything that has happened from when the acne first appeared and how gross it was and how it scared me so when I got Dr. Vaghani I was sure she would explain to me how I possibly got them and maybe take into consideration I do not get acne like this so I was nervous but she actually just walked in took a look at my face and said "so idk if that's just sun damage I'm looking at or what's going on but..." and proceeded to bitch to me about how bad tanning is the entire probably 5 minutes she was in my room. I don't think she even glanced at what I told the nurse and figured I was just some teenager with acne and acted so "above" the problem she thought I had. She didn't even acknowledge any of the other places I told the nurse like the ingrown hair and gave me a prescription to some cream and salicylic acid which is what I already use btw. Maybe I'm over exaggerating and I understand I might just have acne but I just felt she did not treat me very kindly and didn't even examine what I came in for and after her whole spiel I just wanted to leave. I hate this place. The doctors are useless. I've gone in twice and it feels like they just stoled $20. The doctor, can't remember her name that's how fast she was in and out, is like in a hurry every time I go there. She diagnosed me with eczema and I know it's not curable but just said that and didn't offer ways to reduce it or tame it. It's like she said so u have this and leave. Like no a doctor should try to make it at least better! Very disappointed! Already going to a different place. If u read this please don't waste ur time here. If I could rate this office 0 stars I would. I've been coming here for about two years for issues such as moles, minor acne, etc. I was here last week for an allergic reaction of some sort and was told by a PA that it was due to a plant/weed reaction. I was prescribed a topical and was forced into buying a prescription from their office for $60. I used both topicals and my face, bumps, and rash got increasingly worse after using both products. I now have welts in my face. I went back today because I cannot go to work with my face looking like this. Today I saw Dr. Newbauer. Probably my worst experience at this office yet. He came into the room and asked why I was wearing makeup. I had my own makeup wipes and started removing my makeup like he had asked me to. He comes back into the room and asked why my makeup wasn't completely off. I told him I was only concerned about the bottom portion of my face at the time and not the rest of it. He left the room again. Came back with more makeup wipes and told me to remove it all completely. Embarrassed to even leave the house I felt horrible even in front of a doctor. Dr. Newbauer continued to make me feel stupid and treat me like a child. I asked if he could inject a cortisone injection into one of the painful bumps like I've had before and he said absolutely not. I have gotten them there before. Dr then told me he was putting me on doxycycline because I have "impetigo". I told the doctor that I've been on that medication before and it didn't help. Dr laughed and then said he would put me on minocycline. The whole experience was horrible and I left crying. Not to mention a $700 bill they cannot fix even with 2 major health insurances for a biopsy that was done over a year ago. I would not recommend this dermatologist to anyone or their families. I could keep going but I'm too upset to even go any further. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I was a patent at Premier for 5 years. I started with an amazing doctor at the Naperville location and he helped clear my acne and had the best and kindest bedside manner. However he moved out of state. I was referred to another doctor in the practice at the Yorkville location when my acne started acting up. She did not help me, the staff there were rude and made me feel stupid and I never felt like a priority as a patent. Then I tried a different doctor back at Naperville. He was a disaster. Our appointments were NEVER on time, he barely kept me in the room for more than 5 mins, and the staff there were never friendly. They're never organized and the turn over rate there is constant. I would have given it 1 star if it wasn't for the great doctor I started with. Go somewhere else, you'll waste money and time here. read more

I would stay far far away from this place. I just had the worst experience here ever. I went in and was diagnosed with something very serious. In the meantime, between my initial visit and the time I was supposed to go in for surgery, I had to send in my insurance payment(I have 100% insurance, the very best). My insurance company had not received my payment yet, 3 days ahead of the scheduled surgery. The office called me and said they needed to cancel my appointment and reschedule cause it showed my insurance was not up to date. I tried explaining how I sent it in. I BEGGED them to give me 24 hours to see if the payment was received, or that I could even drive up to my insurance office and pay in person ahead of surgery. THEY WOULD NOT HAVE IT...THEY SAID THEY HAD TO CANCEL MY SURGERY FOR A MAJOR PROBLEM...because I did not have the confirmation of insurance 72 HOURS ahead of surgery. What a joke. I even offered to give them my credit card to place a hold for extra assurance. NOPE. So now, I will have to find a new DR, and hopefully get in before my condition becomes more serious. I called to get a quote on Botox today. Of course, they think it's brain surgery and would not give rates on the phone. Fine. They said I come in, pay $99 for a consultation fee, if I want them to do it then it goes towards the total bill. I don't even know how much Botox is there? Do I get the fee back? Probably not. Nice scam they've got going there. You can "contact them" but you get some billing department and I've been going back and forth with them and they say my comments will go to qualified doctors in the medical industry. What?!?!? My wife had a procedure back in Sept. 2011. Big money. I sent payments monthly. All is well. Back in Oct. 2012 they started sending the bills to a house I moved out of in Feb. of 2011??? They got the mail returned. They said they tried to call us. We never got a message. The billing department (Tabitha) says it's my fault that we never changed our address? Really? What about the 12 monthly bills you sent to my current address I asked? She says she never had the current address and I must be mistaken. I have the bills in front of me I told her. So now, I have a collection company hounding me. I told her that I would pay the bill if I got it from them. I will not pay the collection company. She said that it was my problem. Absolutely the worst! I wish we had negative stars cuz they will be getting plenty of those from me! I went to see physician assistant Madeline Abrams. A couple of weeks ago, the receptionist was rude and gave me attitude because I didn't have my referral printed. Even though my doctor said they just need this number. Anyway After 20min they put me on a room and made me wait 35 min!!! Doctor came in the room to say...mmm..I dont know I have no clue what your skin condition could be would you mind if another doctor steps in to the room and helps determine what this is. Sure! Dr. Kelleher was trying to act nice but I could see that he was annoyed by having to be in that room. The worst part is that they didn't know so decided to do a biopsy. I had to wait another 25 min before the doctor walked back in to stitched me up. My appointment was at 11 and I walked out at 1:30pm are you serious? I had my kids with me!!!! Not doctors fault that I had to have my kids with me but really? I was told results can take about two weeks but usually a week that I will hear from them. Never did so I called left a msg. A few times..and I got a call back to give me excuses every time. (The lab had the results but didn't send them) the doctor will sign off and we will call you! That was yesterday and I ask if I was going to hear from them before the en of they and she assured me. Today I called in the morning, sure I got a call back not from someone else other than the nurse to tell me that they were working on it maybe in a couple of hours. For sure you will hear from us in a couple of hours!! So I set myself an alarm at 3:30pm to call them cuz i knew it wasn't going to happen. Guess what? NO call!!! Call them back and no answer! Left a message and then called again blocking my number, nurse answered immediately!!! I know they have caller ID. She hang up on me after I said my name. So I called back but selected option 1 to make appointments. She says let me see if I can catch someone to give you the results. 2 min later she comes back to the phone mmmm...I'm sorry everyone left for the day you will probably get a call back on Monday! Say WHAT! It has been 2 weeks! And now I have to wait! I'm so frustrated!!! I understand doctors offices can get hectic but COME ON!!!! Dont lie to patients!!!!! it makes it worst and I bet the doctors won't even know what is going on!!! Came in for my first botox/filler treatment with this physician. Was very thrilled with the time Dr. Kelleher spent with me. Previous offices gave me an "assembly line" feel. Was nervous because I am typically a fainter, the nurse and Dr. Kelleher walked me through everything and gave me a hint to avoid fainting. It worked, for the first time ever I did not faint! The outcome was awesome and the bruising - non-existent! Will recommend to all my friends. read more

I was referred to this office by my primary doctor and from the first point of contact the staff was rude because I had a preference as to which doctor I wanted to see. Then on top of that they asked for a $50 no show fee from 2003 when I was 8 years old before they could schedule. I said that couldn't be my bill because I was 8 years old at the time however if I must pay it I will bring it and pay at the time of service. The girl got a attitude and said no you need to pay now well needless to say I will take my business elsewhere seeing as collecting 2003 no show fees that isn't my responsibility is more important than healthcare. And I understand services aren't free however the staff should learn how to talk to patients. read more

I have seen Dr. Kelleher five times now for Botox and filler. I was originally recommended by a few friends, but have continued to return because of how happy I am with my results. I use filler to correct some asymmetry in my lips and well as add volume to my upper lip . . . my lips never looked better! The staff at the office is wonderful and Dr. Kelleher and his team take their time with every patient. This doctor/ tech did a laser procedure on my 14 year old daughter that caused severe and permanent facial scarring on cheeks. We had to see our primary right after this botched procedure. The doctor's only concern was for his practice, Dr. Kelleher even asked what my husband did for a living and recommended we see a specific doctor at UIC .She said she would NEVER do this procedure on some one so young. My daughter is now 19 the scarring has gotten worse as she ages. It has affected her self esteem and her future. We went to this particular doctor because I heard he was suppose to be at the top in his field.:( Oh by the way my husband is in the health and safety field and is laser certified. DO NOT DO LASER at any of these practices and NEVER do a laser procedure if it is not done by a doctor. read more

Overall bad experience. I saw Dr. Neubauer. I don't know if you could really call it a true doctors appointment because he only spent 5 minutes with me to tell me that my 20 years of psoriasis was either a skin allergy or eczema. Yea right! He was in such a hurry he left the room without answering any questions just said do x, y, and z. I made the nurse call him back into the room and you could tell he was really put out by this but hey, I'm paying to see you the least you can do is give me a few minutes of your time.
