Of the eight, only three actually visited my home to submit an estimate. Jose arrived and listened to our preferences. He gave us his estimate and after visiting with him, I knew that I was in good hands. The estimate was extremely fair both in price and size. Jose called to schedule the installation early in the week and then again the day before. He arrived early with his team on the big day and completed the job by early afternoon. Jose did a fabulous job at matching the existing pool fence and did a fabulous job with the installation. We could not be happier!

However today, a year later from starting, my deck remains unfinished and only passed inspection after we personally went through the process with the county. From the first "final delivery" of the deck to me is where I started seeing issues. Huge gaps in the Trex were made at each post that collect water, incorrect pieces of Trex were used on the railings, Trex were cut inappropriately in the middle of the flooring, and none of the footers of the original deck were removed. Cleanup was terrible, large cuts were made in railings that needed to be rectified, the edges of the deck were left unfinished, and the overall workmanship was very poor. Over time, HaiJoe "fixed" a few of the issues, while many of them remain "as is" as they would otherwise require a complete rebuild to be resolved. Many of the "fixes" actually caused additional sets of issues, and the owner still sent the same Foreman! Elder Ramos, the owner was hard to get a hold of, then hostile on the phone, and altogether unresponsive. Elder accused us of lying, raised his voice, and hung up on us over the phone. He lied that our deck passed its final inspection, which it did not until months later when we took care of it ourselves. I am so disappointed with the deck that I have been left with. Every day I use it; I see the poor workmanship that was put into it. Do not use this company unless you want a terrible product and bad customer service.

While the response to my initial call all the way to the contractor providing a quote was prompt, everything from that point was down hill. I responded to my emailed quote the same day to clarify whether the recommendation of the contractor was only to replace the gate or if I should go ahead and plan to replace the entire fence as well. 2 days after no response, I called the office, and was directed to the contractors' office line as he was supposed to be in. I ended up leaving a voice message. The following week, after no response, I called again and was directed to the project manager, who was not familiar with the project, and said he would text the owner and the contractor to follow up. I have not received a response to this day, just a bit over a month since I was first in touch with them, which is a bit of a disappointment.

It wasn't rocket science but Seymour took the time to answer all of our questions. We received our reasonable estimate 24 hours later. This was our first estimate and we had 3 others scheduled. Once we received all of the other estimates we decided to go with Armor Fence. On 4/4 the installers arrived along with Seymour to make sure everything was set the way we wanted it. Three hours later, they took away the old fence and had installed the new. WE LOVE it and are very pleased with the service and product so far.
